Benjamin and Amanda rushed into the room, where a young girl lay on the hospital bed, barely in condition.

The doctors surrounding her wore grim expressions, clearly at a loss. They’d tried everything, but nothing worked.

On the other side of the bed, a tall, striking woman held the girl’s hand.

“Oh! I recognize her!” Amanda whispered urgently into Benjamin’s ear, her voice barely audible but filled with surprise.

“That’s the daughter of my dad’s friend. I know her. I thought she was the one who needed medical help. But now it looks like it’s her daughter.”

Benjamin followed Amanda’s gaze, his eyes landing on the woman in question.

Her name was Eileen Fisher, daughter of one of the wealthiest businessmen in the state.

The Fisher family was famous for their numerous businesses and their link to the state's mineral wells.

And it explained why they had Moonbloom. The rare herb only grew in the deepest parts of mines - places the Fisher family had access to like no one else.

Eileen’d been desperate to find a solution to her daughter’s condition, but nothing seemed to help.

Tears streamed down her face as she whispered a silent prayer.

She barely noticed Benjamin standing nearby, until Amanda approached her.

"How is she doing?" Amanda asked softly.

Eileen wiped her eyes, frustration boiling over.

“I have no idea. These doctors haven’t been able to tell me anything for hours!” She shot a bitter glare at the medical team.

“We are doing our best, Miss Fisher.” One of the doctors replied.

“Your best isn’t good enough! My baby’s dying!” Eileen screamed, her voice breaking.

The little girl jerked in her grip, and Eileen's gaze finally landed on Benjamin.

Her eyes, swollen and filled with tears, still carried the unmistakable presence of a woman born into power—the daughter of a business tycoon.

"You’re the one Mr. Fisher recommended?" Her voice was laced with skepticism. "The so-called man who can cure anyone?"

Disappointment was written all over her face.

"You look too young! What experience could you possibly have with something this serious?”

Amanda sighed a little and explained. "Eileen, Benjamin is a highly qualified medical professional."

"Qualified? What are his credentials? These doctors are trained professionals, and they couldn’t save her. What makes him any different?” Eileen shot back.

Benjamin stood still, letting those two women argue. He wasn’t bothered by the skepticism.

He focused on the girl, knowing she didn’t have much time.

"May I?" Benjamin asked, pulling out his medical kit. Without waiting for an answer, he set it on the cart beside the bed and began examining the girl.

He took a blood sample, inserted it into a small scanner, and waited a few moments for the results.

During the time, he checked her eyes, and then he quickly monitored her heart rate, right before he checked her tongue and fingers.

The machine beeped softly. The results on the machine confirmed his suspicion.

"She has been poisoned." Benjamin’s face hardened.

"What? " Eileen blurted out in disbelief.

"It is a rare chemical. It dissolves quickly into the blood within minutes after it’s taken. How many blood tests did the hospital run?" He replied asking her.

"A couple, but nobody ever came up with this." She replied, looking at him warily.

“I’ll bet she’s been throwing up yellowish liquids, her eyes dilate, she’s weak, and then spasms hit. Blood comes out of her nose too, right?”

Benjamin asked, his gaze fixed on the girl.

Eileen stared at him surprised. He was right—he knew all this without even looking at the medical records.

"I need to start treatment now, or she might not make it. “Benjamin said, already moving to prepare.

But just as he was about to begin, the door swung open. A tall, handsome man in a doctor’s coat walked in.

Eileen’s face lit up, and Benjamin tensed.

He knew the man. His jaw clenched as he set down his tools.

“Dr. Evans,” Eileen said, relief flooding her voice. “Thank you for coming.”

Dr. Antonio Evans grinned, walking in like he owned the place.

"I came as soon as I heard. Had to cut my vacation short in Paris." He flashed a cocky smile.

Then, his eyes landed unsurprisingly on Benjamin and his eyes widened with amusement.

“Well, well, what do we have here?” Antonio smirked. “Benjamin Moore. What a surprise! After that embarrassing exit, I didn’t expect to see you around.”

Benjamin merely rolled his eyes. He wasn’t interested in the petty jabs.

This flashy man, Antonio, had once been one of Emily’s suitors too.

Nothing brought him more joy than seeing Benjamin fail—spectacularly.

“I heard Emily announced her engagement,” Antonio said, his voice dripping with mockery.

“And surprise, surprise, it’s not you. Shocking, really. Then again, what did she ever see in a worthless loser like you?”

He smirked, clearly relishing every word.

“And what are you doing here now? Pretending to be a doctor again?”

“Don’t worry, I’ll handle this case. You can head home.”

“Of course, you can stay and watch me work. You might learn something.”

He shoved Benjamin aside and quickly examined Eileen’s daughter.

“It’s just an allergic reaction!” he declared.

Without hesitation, Antonio prepared to inject epinephrine.

Benjamin’s heart pounded. His eyes widened as he instinctively reached out to stop him.

“She’s not having an allergic reaction!” he said urgently. “Her body is already under stress—if you inject that, she’ll die!”

Antonio scoffed, his lips curling into a smirk.

“Are you questioning me?” he sneered. “Or do you just not want to see her get better? Are you all talk?”

“I trust Dr. Antonio,” Eileen interrupted, “He’s been our family doctor for years!”

Antonio shot Benjamin a smug glance before pressing the syringe into the little girl’s arm.

But the moment the epinephrine entered her system, her body convulsed.

Her breathing turned shallow, nearly stopped.

The morning sun filtered gently through the curtains of the hospital room. It was a soft kind of light, one that didn't hurt the eyes, just warm enough to bring a small smile. Benjamin Moore stood at the edge of the ancient stone platform, the seven treasures glowing around him. Each one hummed with energy, pulsing like a heartbeat. His team, Amanda, Timothy, and Darius, stood behind him, tense and quiet. In front of them was the final barrier. A massive stone gate that had no hinges, no handles, just smooth, ancient markings. Benjamin placed his hand on it.The moment his skin touched the stone, all seven treasures lifted into the air on their own. They spun around him, faster and faster, until a golden light shot from the center and struck the gate. With a loud rumble, the gate cracked down the middle and opened. Behind it stood a man. Tall, wearing a dark robe embroidered with ancient symbols. His eyes were glowing faintly. It was him, the Architect."So," the Architect said, his voice calm, "you made it."Benjamin didn’t move. The dust had barely settled from their final trial when Benjamin stood at the center of the old stone chamber, Treasure 7 in his hand. The one that would bring everything together.Amanda, Timothy, and Darius stood behind him, each of them bruised, tired, and wide-eyed. No one spoke. The chamber, hidden beneath the ruins of a forgotten city, seemed to breathe with them. Every crack in the walls hummed with ancient energy.Benjamin looked down at the treasure. It was smaller than he’d expected, a simple disc, flat and gold, with intricate symbols etched across its face. It glowed faintly, like it had a heartbeat. He slowly stepped forward to the platform in the middle of the chamber, where the other six treasures had been placed. Each one rested in its own slot, forming a perfect circle. This last piece would complete the pattern.Amanda placed her hand on Benjamin’s shoulder. "You ready?"He

But this wasn’t just any hidden prize; this was the last true key. And the Architect had made sure it would not be easy to get.Benjamin turned to face Amanda, Timothy, and Darius. Their faces were grim, their bodies already weary from all they had been through. But their eyes, especially Benjamin’s eyes, burned with a steady fire."This is it," Benjamin said. "The Architect’s final line of defense."They had found the entrance hidden behind a waterfall, using a puzzle only Benjamin could solve because of a memory his father once whispered to him in a dream. No one faces this alone."The door creaked open, revealing a long corridor with metal, stone, and symbols glowing faintly. The moment they s

The desert air was dry and hot, the sun beating down on them without mercy. Amanda sipped slowly from her canteen while Timothy and Darius scanned the horizon. Everyone was silent, too exhausted to speak. Then, Benjamin's radio crackled."Benjamin Moore."It wasn’t a familiar voice. It was low, almost like a whisper in his ear, but there was something powerful about it. Something that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. The team all turned to him."Who is that?" Amanda asked, stepping closer.Benjamin raised the radio. "Who are you?"The voice chuckled softly. "The one who’s been watching since the beginning. The one who set everything in motion. I am the Architect."Timothy frowned. "Is this a trick?""No," Benjamin said quietly. "This is real."The voice continued. "You’ve come so far, Benjamin. Found the treasures. Untangled the past.
