"RAIKEN!!!" Mina yelled as she punched Albus in the face with a fist covered in lightning and sent him flying. She did not wait for him to land before launching her next attack with a bolt lightning and immediately after that, she rushed towards him and began a barrage of attacks moving faster than the speed a normal eye could follow.

Each attack was faster and stronger than the former. Mina didn't leave any opening for Albus so he created one for himself.

Mina was about launch her next attack when she found herself evading another concentrated flame. It didn't come from Albus' direction but from behind and she look back, she saw a whole lot of light balls.

Mina already knew the next action to take... run.

With all her might Mina fled the area before the barrage flames rained on her and Yen was waiting where she stopped.

"Need my help now?" Yen asked

"Nahh, I just need a weapon" she replied

"Well our swords didn't survive the rampage, you have a crossbow though"

"Nahh I don't need it" she said

"Oh well let's do this" she said as she stretched out her hand and formed a rod out of lightning then ran off to wack Albus with it.

Yen was genuinely shocked. He had just seen Mina do something he he'd never done before as if she had been training all her life for it. Even the 'raiken' was her invention, but Yen was still in for more surprises.

Mina ran towards Albus who had surrounded himself with concentrated White flames. The little balls of light were orbiting him slowly and firing around the area to prevent anyone from coming in while he recovered. He had taken great deal damage and needed time to get back in shape.

"I shouldn't have underestimated this girl" he said as he watched his wounds close up.

Albus had a fast recovery rate but he still feared that Mina might find a way to get at him before he was fully recovered... She did.

"What could she be up to this time?" Albus wondered as he watched Mina run circles around him and his defense system

"It's no use" he said loudly

"Whatever you are planning will not work" he added..... Then he saw some glowing spots on the ground around his defense system.

While Albus wondered what he was looking at, Mina stopped and placed her hand on the ground then said the words "RISING BOLT" and from within the glowing spots came numerous rods of lightning. Albus sensed the danger and immediately took off into the air but Mina was not done with him.

"You're going nowhere" she yelled as she formed another rod in her hand and threw it above Albus. The single rod divided and became as numerous as the ones on ground then Mina yelled the words "FALLING THUNDER" and the rods from both above and below shot at Albus and struck with intense power and voltage.

"I'll call this move... DIVINE SHOCK"

Albus wasn't the only one being shocked. All Yen could do was to stand back and watch in awe as Mina used his power to do things he never imagined he could do with it. Yen was superior in speed and mobility and never really had any need for techniques, but seeing the elegance of Mina's moves made him wonder

"Just how far into my heart did she look?" He muttered

"She has peered so deep that she understands the very nature of my existence"

"This is not something I expected" he thought.

"But she has to hurry" he said

   "I'm almost drained"

Albus' flames were losing intensity but he also noticed that Mina's speed and power were also going down. He cracked a smile because according to his calculations she would be drained before him.

He continued attacking until he hit her once, then twice, the lot of other times.

At this point Mina was drained and weakened. She could still feel her connection with Yen but his power was diminished, all she had left was her own physical strength and her Wit.

"Why am I never aware of my limits?" Yen muttered to himself as he watched the fight from afar. The lightning around him was barely sparking and he could no longer send any power to Mina. In his fleeting moment of thought, he wondered "what am I wearing?"

One shot after the other, Albus laughed as he watched Mina struggle to avoid his flames.

"There is no hope for you" he said

"You will die here" he yelled as he formed a sizable ball of flames and shot it at Mina.

In the spur of the moment Mina reached behind her and felt a crossbow hanging from her waist

"And thought I didn't need it" she said as she immediately pulled it out and aimed.

As she shot at her target, she wondered

"Who makes arrows out of gold?"

Mina's golden arrow passed through Albus' flames and pierced him right in the forehead, the arrow had passed through intense flames so it was pretty hot and painful.

Albus' ball of flames struck Mina in the torso but at the moment of impact her eyes gave a brilliant glow of lightning and her entire body was shielded with it.

"I made it in time" Yen said to himself as he collapsed on the floor naked. It turned out that his robes were made out lightning and at the last minute, he turned it into power and sent it to Mina.

Meanwhile, Mina Walked to Albus' and pulled the arrow out of his head then began stabbing him all over.

One of the major secrets Mina found out about the prophets was that they could not die. Whenever one is killed his mind just transfers to a different body and he comes back. It was the prophets' biggest advantage.

Every physical damage that she dealt on Albus meat nothing. Mina's main aim was this moment, when she knelt over him and mutilated his temporal corpse.

Normally, it would be useless to do damage to a dead body but Albus' case was different. While a prophet is being transferred to his new body, he still feels all the pains and sensations of his old body. The transfer took about five minutes, enough time for Mina to instill some psychological damage.

After she was done, Mina staggered over to Yen and collapsed right beside him.

"well, Mr Addison" Ellie said as the camera faced Orie. "What are your thoughts on the current state of the match?" "I'm really not sure" Orie replied "To be honest, this is the first time I've seen Her like that so I don't actually know what to expect" "But if I had to take a guess..." "... I'd say I'm glad she wasn't like this in our match" Natsumi missed her first strike, and her second, and her third, and her fourth, and... all her strikes, she missed all of it. As it turns out, Kurobe had quite the reflex and was really good at evasion and keeping the distance. Every time Natsumi got close, he quickly evaded and put distance between them, pushing her back, attacking from blind spots, setting walls between them and a Whole lot of moves that prevented him from getting hit but that didn't stop his opponent from trying. With each passing second, Natsumi got closer to landing a hit on Kurobe. At first it was him feeling the little breeze as her fist fle

  • Cold hard truth

Many things can anger a fighter. An opponent that toys with them, someone that just won't stay down and in many cases, a direct insult. But none of those things were happening to Kurobe, he was facing something far more annoying; an opponent that isn't paying attention to him. At first glance, it looked like Kurobe was dominating the match without giving his opponent any chance to counter, but there were many times since the beginning of the fight where Natsumi would have been able to strike back but did nothing instead. She had barely moved from where she was standing at the start and she was in deep thought. All Natsumi did from the beginning of the match was to fend off the incoming attacks while thinking about what Orie had said to her. "I have finally seen your true self" "I finally know you" She couldn't muster up the courage to ask him what he meant because she was too afraid of his answer. She was afraid of the truth. "If the real me is a monster...

  • Tears of a beautiful summer

Orie was finally on the offensive. His wind blasts weren't doing much damage but they were strong enough to throw his opponent off balance and disorganize her attacks. He was able to close the distance bit by bit with each successful blast and every one of them hit. Before Natsumi could tell what was going on, Orie was standing directly under her. "White" orie said with a smile as he looked at her from below, then he spun his staff and struck the floor with it. Natsumi immediately turned to guard against it but no wind came from Orie's direction, it came from above and pushed her down. As Natsumi struggled to stand up, Orie began walking towards her and spoke. "I wondered why my prayers weren't working on you" "It would stop you for a brief moment then she'd take care of the rest by will power" "After this encounter, I think I finally figured it out" "The reason why my prayers don't work and who you are" "You are Natsumi" "You are not a spirit tha
