"Don't you ever call me that again" Mina said angrily

"I am no longer under your authority, and I was never your daughter"

"I have transversed the oceans of the earth. I have survived the cruelty of nature. I have done things that even you deemed impossible. So when you talk to me, don't treat me like I'm the little girl you once knew"

"PUT SOME RESPECT ON MY NAME!!!"

"That was a nice speech" Albus said as he stroked his grey beard

"But do you have the strength to prove it?" he said as pure white flames began to form behind him.

He raised his hand and pointed to Mina and all the flames shot in her direction.

The flames exploded on impact with high intensity and the shockwaves reached very far. The brightness of the explosion was blinding and the heat was of one that could burn steel. But after the explosion calmed down and the smoke cleared, Mina and Yen stood within the resulting crater unharmed.

They stood within a dense lightning barrier and watched Albus go dumbfounded. It wasn't his stronnget attack but it was still a powerful one, and for someone to take it and go unharmed was not something he thought possible.

He shot another barrage of flames and made the crater even bigger but all he could do was make a dent on Yen's barrier.

"I see" Albus said as he chuckled

"You're just lucky to have a strong man by your side" said

"But what I have shown isn't even a fraction of my power" he continued

"YOU WILL BOTH PERISH HERE!!!" he yelled as he raised his hand and formed a gigantic ball of flames.

"So what are we doing next?" Yen asked with a smile

"Do we kill him now or do we...." he didn't finish talking before Mina placed her her finger on his lips to silence him

"I have a request" she said softly as she placed her hands on his cheeks

   "What is it?" Yen asked

"I want you to allow me to continue using your power" Mina replied

   "No problem" Yen answered

"And I want to fight this battle alone"

Yen gave a short pause before say "but if I feel like you're in trouble I will step in"

"You won't need to" Mina replied calmly but the smile on her face almost made Yen have pity for Albus.

Meanwhile, Albus had grown his ball of flames to it's maximum size. It was so big that the colour of the sky was affected by the light it emitted. It was as if the sun just turned pure white.

"This is just the beginning" Albus said as he closed his hand and compressed the ball of flames to a size that could fit in his hand. It no longer looked like a ball of flames but instead it looked like a little ball of light that hovered above his palm.

"NOW DIE!!!" he yelled as he shot a concentrated beam at his target. He easily broke through the barrier but still missed, and his targets were out sight.

"You're right, I am indeed very lucky" Mina from behind Albus. He turned around to look but saw no one.

"But you are underestimating my luck" Mina added as she shot him a lightning bolt from behind.

Albus got pushed forward a little from the force. he was forced into a bowing position and he felt greatly humiliated.

   "From now on" he said

   "Play time is over"

He raised the little ball of light in the air and it rested on his index finger, and from within it, multiple beams shot in every direction except towards himself.

Mina danced in the rain of concentrated fire evading every shot. This kept her busy while Albus went to attack Yen.

Albus deducted that Yen was the source of the immense power that Mina was exhibiting, he expected that if he eliminated Yen, the fight would come to an end. He was probably right but before he reach, Yen came to him and said "look back" pointing in Mina's direction.

Albus was shocked but he decided to look back. At first he saw nothing out out of the ordinary. Mina was still evading the rain of flames but for little moment, he looked closer and saw a small beam of light shoot out of Mina's hand then the next thing he saw was huge explosion.

"I won't interfere with this fight just yet" Yen said to Albus

"But you should be careful though"

   "She's dangerous"

Before Albus could think of what to say or do next, Yen was gone and Mina was right in front of him saying the word "RAIKEN"

"well, Mr Addison" Ellie said as the camera faced Orie. "What are your thoughts on the current state of the match?" "I'm really not sure" Orie replied "To be honest, this is the first time I've seen Her like that so I don't actually know what to expect" "But if I had to take a guess..." "... I'd say I'm glad she wasn't like this in our match" Natsumi missed her first strike, and her second, and her third, and her fourth, and... all her strikes, she missed all of it. As it turns out, Kurobe had quite the reflex and was really good at evasion and keeping the distance. Every time Natsumi got close, he quickly evaded and put distance between them, pushing her back, attacking from blind spots, setting walls between them and a Whole lot of moves that prevented him from getting hit but that didn't stop his opponent from trying. With each passing second, Natsumi got closer to landing a hit on Kurobe. At first it was him feeling the little breeze as her fist fle

  • Cold hard truth

Many things can anger a fighter. An opponent that toys with them, someone that just won't stay down and in many cases, a direct insult. But none of those things were happening to Kurobe, he was facing something far more annoying; an opponent that isn't paying attention to him. At first glance, it looked like Kurobe was dominating the match without giving his opponent any chance to counter, but there were many times since the beginning of the fight where Natsumi would have been able to strike back but did nothing instead. She had barely moved from where she was standing at the start and she was in deep thought. All Natsumi did from the beginning of the match was to fend off the incoming attacks while thinking about what Orie had said to her. "I have finally seen your true self" "I finally know you" She couldn't muster up the courage to ask him what he meant because she was too afraid of his answer. She was afraid of the truth. "If the real me is a monster...

  • Tears of a beautiful summer

Orie was finally on the offensive. His wind blasts weren't doing much damage but they were strong enough to throw his opponent off balance and disorganize her attacks. He was able to close the distance bit by bit with each successful blast and every one of them hit. Before Natsumi could tell what was going on, Orie was standing directly under her. "White" orie said with a smile as he looked at her from below, then he spun his staff and struck the floor with it. Natsumi immediately turned to guard against it but no wind came from Orie's direction, it came from above and pushed her down. As Natsumi struggled to stand up, Orie began walking towards her and spoke. "I wondered why my prayers weren't working on you" "It would stop you for a brief moment then she'd take care of the rest by will power" "After this encounter, I think I finally figured it out" "The reason why my prayers don't work and who you are" "You are Natsumi" "You are not a spirit tha
