Powerless?

   By the time they were done setting up, more than five minutes had gone by.

   "Their powers have returned" Yamato said

   "How long until they go off again?" He asked

   "It's better to just wait them out and move when they are powerless" he suggested but Orie disagreed with him.

   "It's four hours until the next power shut down" he said

   "If we wait that long, we risk failing the game"

   "I forgot to tell you this but by the time the game began, the Metas already knew where source of their powerlessness was coming from"

  "This game is not espionage"

  "It's pure violence"

  "But don't worry"

  "It's not like bullets don't work on mages"

   Before anyone could say anything, Shiro and Mia darted out of the house screaming "LET'S GOOO!!"

  "Aren't you worried about them getting into trouble?" Natsumi asked, looking at Orie.

  "No, not really" Orie answered as he made his way to the door

  "This is a game"

  "The fight doesn't start until we leave this street"

  "and besides, Mia is already good with weapons and I personally trained Shiro"

   "If you say so" Natsumi replied as she followed him.

   On the other hand, Shiro and Mia were met with a great silence in the middle of the street. The only thing they could hear were their own voices. 

   "I was really expecting some immediate action" Shiro said to himself

   "I know right?!!" Orie yelled from behind him

   "Just don't forget that this is a game"

   "No matter how heated the battle gets in the war zone, it will not reach here"

   "And also," he said

   "The war zone is just past this street and if we don't join the fight and win, we fail the first mission and the second mission becomes insanely harder than it's supposed to be"

   "And oh yeah" he added

   "There are only two missions so if things go well, we'll be out of here in few hours"

   "By the way" he said again

   "The hardest wave is the first wave so please... I said please... Follow my instructions. After that, you can do whatever you want"

   Truly, the warzone was just past the street. As soon as they took the first step out of it, they were met with an ear ringing amount of noise and chaos. It was as if someone turned the volume from zero to a hundred in an instant.

  Powerful Metas were dropping from the sky and attacking a large army of Revengers that was positioned in the distance.

  Sounds out of destruction and death filled the air and bullets were being shot in every direction

   "SO WHAT NOW?!!" Shiro yelled, try to speak to Orie amidst the noise.

   "WHAT?!!" Orie replied, not hearing what Shiro said

   "I SAID, WHAT NOW?" Shiro yelled much more loudly

   "Oh" Orie said as he finally heard what Shiro was saying

   "JUST DO AS I DO!!" he yelled. Then he positioned his hand in front of his face and yelled "SHIELD!!" and a round holographic blue shield appeared on his hand and he rushed forward. The others also did as he did and their shields also appeared and they rushed forward.
