As Orie and the others rushed forward, every Meta on the scene immediately turned their attention towards them.
Majority of the Metas were fire elementals and they all had a simple pattern. First they would each shoot multiple small flames, then they would shoot big balls of flames, then they would raise their hands in unison and cause flames to rise from the ground everywhere.
When the Metas fired the small flames, Orie blocked with his shield and kept running. When they shot the big balls of flames, he evaded and kept on advancing. When they caused flames to rise from the ground, he paid no attention to it and continued running until he got to one of the Metas. Then he immediately unpinned several grenades and dropped them on the floor. BOOM!!!
Everyone also followed Orie and did as he did, but when they close to a Meta, they used their guns and swords to attack instead of dropping grenades at their feet and attempting suicide bombing.
As they were unleashing their attacks, The Metas that they had pinned down suddenly released shock waves that pushed them all back and left them stunned for a few seconds.
"I feel like my health bar just got halved" Shiro groaned as he struggled to get up.
"You should have followed me" a voice said from above him, and he looked up to see Orie standing above him.
Shiro was confused. Not only Shiro, everyone else were also dumbfounded.
"How the f***" They all wondered, but Orie just replied "it's a game"
"It doesn't matter how close you are to the explosion, you can't be damaged by your own attacks"
"Classic game sh**"
"Don't you guys play video games at home?"
"Or are you always turning on friendly fire?"
"Now let's do this one more time" he said as he activated hi shield
"One more thing" he added
"This game was never made official so they left the cheats on"
"You don't have to worry about running out of ammo"
"So let's go, and blow them up"
And they went for the second time and did exactly as Orie did, getting to the Metas and 'BOOM!!!'. If he ran, they ran. If he stopped, they stopped. If he stood, they stood. If he blew, they blew.
And they continued until there was none left.
"What were these guys doing anyway?" Shiro asked, pointing in the direction of the revengers, and Orie shook his head in disappointment.
"Have you not been listening to the words I've been saying"
"Classic game shi**"
"Classic game shi**"
"Only the players do actual damage"
"The NPC damage is always minimal"
"Oh...my... God" Natsumi said as her eyes widened
"I don't think what I said is something to be wowed about" Orie replied
"No" Natsumi said
"I wasn't talking to you" she said as she pointed behind Orie.
Orie turned around to see what she was pointing at.
"Oh, yeah" he said with a straight face
"The second wave has arrived"
"Alright let's go" he said as he ran towards the revengers and the others followed him. They got to the army and were greeted with casual waves from all its members. Then a leader came from among them and said to Orie and his team "Go get the child. We'll handle things over here"
"What child?" Natsumi asked but the man paid no attention and continued talking to Orie.
"Hurry" he said
"We don't have much time"

When the ice queen laughs
"well, Mr Addison" Ellie said as the camera faced Orie. "What are your thoughts on the current state of the match?" "I'm really not sure" Orie replied "To be honest, this is the first time I've seen Her like that so I don't actually know what to expect" "But if I had to take a guess..." "... I'd say I'm glad she wasn't like this in our match" Natsumi missed her first strike, and her second, and her third, and her fourth, and... all her strikes, she missed all of it. As it turns out, Kurobe had quite the reflex and was really good at evasion and keeping the distance. Every time Natsumi got close, he quickly evaded and put distance between them, pushing her back, attacking from blind spots, setting walls between them and a Whole lot of moves that prevented him from getting hit but that didn't stop his opponent from trying. With each passing second, Natsumi got closer to landing a hit on Kurobe. At first it was him feeling the little breeze as her fist fle
Cold hard truth
Many things can anger a fighter. An opponent that toys with them, someone that just won't stay down and in many cases, a direct insult. But none of those things were happening to Kurobe, he was facing something far more annoying; an opponent that isn't paying attention to him. At first glance, it looked like Kurobe was dominating the match without giving his opponent any chance to counter, but there were many times since the beginning of the fight where Natsumi would have been able to strike back but did nothing instead. She had barely moved from where she was standing at the start and she was in deep thought. All Natsumi did from the beginning of the match was to fend off the incoming attacks while thinking about what Orie had said to her. "I have finally seen your true self" "I finally know you" She couldn't muster up the courage to ask him what he meant because she was too afraid of his answer. She was afraid of the truth. "If the real me is a monster...

Tears of a beautiful summer
Orie was finally on the offensive. His wind blasts weren't doing much damage but they were strong enough to throw his opponent off balance and disorganize her attacks. He was able to close the distance bit by bit with each successful blast and every one of them hit. Before Natsumi could tell what was going on, Orie was standing directly under her. "White" orie said with a smile as he looked at her from below, then he spun his staff and struck the floor with it. Natsumi immediately turned to guard against it but no wind came from Orie's direction, it came from above and pushed her down. As Natsumi struggled to stand up, Orie began walking towards her and spoke. "I wondered why my prayers weren't working on you" "It would stop you for a brief moment then she'd take care of the rest by will power" "After this encounter, I think I finally figured it out" "The reason why my prayers don't work and who you are" "You are Natsumi" "You are not a spirit tha
