Volume 3. Chapter 7 The Invitation Of Demon King Lina

Maya begs Vail not to hurt her parents. However, Rii, and Cini are already hurt.

Cini and Rii did what Sonita and Ferin did to Maya.

“….” Maya could only cry seeing her parents being tortured.

“Stop it! Sorry!” Ferin screamed in pain when Cini slapped him very hard.

Ferin began to feel that his lower jawbone was going to move out of place.

“Maya?!” Vail sees Maya unconscious.

Cini and Rii stopped the punishment.

In her subconscious, Maya was very confused by what she saw.

"Where is this?" Maya was so confused by the river that was flowing so fast, but it made her heart calm.

“….” Maya immediately looked back, because she heard the sound of a cup being placed on the table.

"Who are you?" Maya saw a mysterious man wearing a mask dressed like a hero.

“Please…sit down.” The mysterious man asked Maya to sit down.

Maya didn't understand what was happening, chose to walk over and sit down.

“How is your world?” the mysterious man asked.

“My world—”

“I have to help my mother and father!” Maya remembered the last time.

“Maya?” Vail gently patted Maya's cheek, and it resulted in Maya regaining consciousness.

Rii saw Ferin and Sonita raise one of their hands.

“….” Maya was so sad knowing that her family would be separated.

“Demon king Lina—”

"Go!" Vail said very angrily.

Ferin came out so annoyed and feeling so humiliated.

Sonita could only remain silent and not say anything, she became afraid after both of her hands were cut off.

Not long after, Cini and Rii just left. Lina realised that the two of them would kill Ferin without Maya's knowledge.

Vail brought Maya and Sonita into the house.

“What would you two like to drink?” Vail offers drinks to Maya and Sonita, as well as Lina.

“Your habits still haven't changed, Vail. In this world, there is only wine, water, and tea." Lina informed.

"Haaa..." Vail became tired and bored after hearing Lina's words.

“We're back…”

“We have repaired the roof that was damaged by the heartless demon king,” Cini told them and Rii sat on chairs at the dining table.

“The compensation f*e is ten gold coins.”

"Very expensive!" Lina was so surprised.

Vail came with six cups, and a pot of herbal tea that was smoking so cold.

“This is for both of you.” Vail poured tea from the teapot into cups and gave it to Maya and Sonita.

“….” Vail saw Rii, Cini, and Lina who were so uncomfortable with Sonita's condition.

"I'll take my drink to the balcony," Cini went and took the teapot out.

"That's right, I want to see the outside world." Rii brought three cups and came out after Cini.

“….” Vail saw Lina who seemed to be looking for an excuse to leave.

“Lina, wait outside with the two of them. I will meet you." Vail asked Lina to leave him with Maya and Sonita.

The situation became awkward, Sonita still didn't speak, she was really scared. Maya could only see her mother who was so worried.

“I'm also confused about how to introduce myself to you two, for now. Just call me your brother." Vail told and asked Sonita and Maya to call him brother.

Not long after, Lina, Rii, and Cini heard cries from Sonita and Maya.

“They will be fine from now on.”

“You two, can you become teachers—”

“What is your goal, Lina?” Rii said in an annoyed voice to Lina.

“Rii, there's no need to be upset. We've vented our anger before.” Cini reprimanded his friend.

“So, why suddenly ask us to be teachers?” Cini was so curious.

“We don't have the skills to be teachers, not only that. We also just came back not long ago.” Rii informed.

“Then how do you become a student at my academy?” Lina made an offer.

“You have an academy?” Cini was a little surprised.

“That's right, and I'm the academy head,” Lina informed.

“Since when do you have an academy?” Cini was curious.

“Did you steal or kill the real owner?” Rii said in a mocking voice.

what do you think I am.” Lina didn't accept Rii's teasing.

“A demon king and a troublesome woman.” Rii and Cini said at the same time.

“We look forward to it, instead. Rii and I will take Vail.” Cini makes a deal with Lina.

“Apart from clothes, everything else is covered, I think.” Cini gave a very ambiguous sentence at the end of the pronunciation.

"I think..." Rii stopped his words. Because saw Vail, Maya, and Sonita come to them.

"Why are you here?" Cini was so curious.

"Maya has words to convey to King Ligt. Lina, can you convey them?" Vail asked Lina to listen and tell King Ligt.

“Training-like thing?” Cini was so curious.

“I can't explain it, I had this thing a year ago. And mysteriously disappeared.” Maya told.

In the morning, Lina arrived in a horse-drawn carriage. Picking up Rii, Cini, and Vail to be admitted to the academy.

“Demon king Lina, good morning,” Maya says hello.

"Morning, Maya, Sonita." Lina greeted back.

"Where are they? I came to pick them up.” Lina didn't see the three of them with Maya and Sonita.

"Maybe brother and the others are still sleeping in the room," Maya said.

“Ha…they still haven't changed. If it's like this, they'll oversleep.” Lina complained.

"Still the same?" Sonita was curious about Lina's complaints.

"A thousand years ago they never got up early, they always got up late," Lina informed.

"A thousand years!?" Sonita was very surprised to hear Lina's statement.

"I'll wake up—"

"No need to bother, just leave it to me." Lina didn't want to bother Sonita.
