Volume 3. Chapter 8 Be A New Student

Lina walked up the stairs and towards the room in question. Without telling, Lina immediately opened the bedroom door.

She saw Rii, Cini, and Vail sleeping together on a relatively small bed.

"Whether I want to thank them for still being there and being real or not, what's clear is that it's almost noon." Lina was so happy to see the fact that the three of them, especially Vail, had not disappeared again. 

"Hey...you're still sleeping, it's almost noon. Get up or I'll throw you into the riverbed." Lina threatened by emitting a black flame in her left hand. 

“How noisy…at least let us sleep another five minutes—” 

“Aaah!” The three of them fell to the floor, because Lina made their bed disappear with her magic.

“You don't want to see other people happy? Wait outside, we'll get ready." Cini complained and asked Lina to come out. 

"I'll give you two minutes and you must be ready immediately," Lina informed and walked out of the room, closing the door. 

"That woman is too much, she thinks we are members of the military," Rii complained so much. 

Lina waited in front of the bedroom door, she didn't hear any sound from inside the room. 

“Hey! This is more..." Lina opened the bedroom door, but she didn't find the three of them. 

“Lina! You're still there, come down quickly, it's going to be noon!” Cini called from downstairs. 

“How did you guys get here?” Sonita was so amazed by Cini, Rii, and Vail who were before their eyes. 

“Keep this a secret from everyone else,” Rii said and asked Maya and Sonita not to open their mouths. 

“You three are going to enter the academy?” Maya wants to make sure. 

“We want to know this world, because before we couldn't feel it. Because we had to fight our ancestors at that time." Cini told Maya the reason. 

“I wants you to enter the academy too, Maya.” Vail invites Maya. 

"But what about Mother, I don't want her to be alone at home," Maya told her what considering. 

"No need to worry, I asked Lina to take Sonita to the castle and live there. Then, I wanted to ask Sonita to become a waitress at a restaurant as punishment," Vail informed. 

“Why is the mother being punished? I thought the mother was forgiven.” Maya becomes worried. 

"That's because your ancestor, Clara, was a woman who worked as a maid in Gerna's palace before meeting us. And I want Sonita to feel what Clara feels." Vail told her why.

Sonita accepted this decision, she could only obey the decision that was imposed on her. 

Vail held Sonita and Maya's hands and took them both into the horse-drawn carriage, heading towards Startlight Academy. 

“Maya, I have conveyed your words to Ligt. He was quite happy and is now as we know him. Thank you, that's thanks to you.” Lina was so grateful. And bowed to Maya as a sign of thanks. 

“Please raise your head demon king Lina!” It was such a hassle for Maya. 

"I'm just conveying what the figure said," Maya tells the truth. 

“...” Their horse-drawn carriage entered the academy grounds. 

“The place is very spacious.” Cini didn't expect that Startlight Academy would be so vast. 

When getting off the horse carriage. They saw that many students were students at the academy. 

“Why do humans have ears on top of their heads?” Cini was so surprised. 

“They are semi-human,” Lina informed. 

“Semi-human?” Vail was so amazed. 

“I thought the half was more suitable than Semi-human.” Rii expressed an opinion. 

“They are sometimes called that. After the war ended, Ani-human races and other races that had physiques like Humans experienced evolution every century. And be as you appear.” Lina informed. 

"Follow me…" 

“….” 

They followed Lina into the academy. 

“It's unusual for the academy principal to be here.” A woman was surprised to see the demon king Lina bringing another person. 

“Sofy!” Two women walked up to her.

“Tasya, Tia. Good morning." Sofy greeted her two friends. 

"Morning too, Sofy." Tia returned the greeting to Sofy. 

"What happen?" Tasya was curious about her friend.

"Earlier I saw the head of the academy along with a few foreigners entering the academy." Sofy told what she saw to her friends.

They continued their way to class, at the same time Asino looked at the three women who were so familiar and laughed.

"I'm curious about this, why do you always see Tasya, Sofy, and Tia?" Kila was so curious. 

“It's nothing important,” Asino informed. 

“…..” Asino continued her way to class.

“Wait, Asino…” 

On the other hand, Vail, Cini, Rii, and Maya have been given Startlight Academy uniforms. 

"How do you feel, when you wear the uniform from my academy?" Lina wanted to know their feelings. 

"Rii, do I look like the ones in the anime?" Cini wants to be sure. 

"Ha...you, at least get rid of your desires like that." Rii reprimanded Cini. 

“Do these clothes match the ones in the manga?” Rii asked Vail. 

“WOW!” Cini was so annoyed. 

"I feel a sense of power from this uniform." Vail is just saying something that never happened. 

“I don't know what happened to you guys, but those uniforms are just normal clothes,” Lina informed. 

"A sentence appears that spoils people's fun." Cini was so tired, when heard Lina's words.

“So, where can we sleep—study?” 

"Just now I heard you want to say sleep, Rii. But never mind, put that aside.” Lina didn't want to get carried away and become annoyed. 

Knock. Knock. Knock. 

There was a knock on the door, Lina asked the person to come in. 

“Vail, Maya, Rii, Cini. The woman in front of you is called Vina, the second child of the noble William family. And the person in charge of the class you will be attending." Lina told them a little information. 

"Miss Vina, you can immediately bring the four of them into your class." 

“Thank you, academy principal…please, follow me to your classes.” Vina was very grateful and invited the four of them to class. 

While walking in the corridor, Vail asked Vina to give himself five minutes. As soon as Vina was astonished, she also saw Vail enter the head of the academy's office. 

Not long after, the sound of a woman crying came from the room, was none other than Lina and Sonita.

The people in the class were shocked by teacher Vina's statement that there was a new student. 

"Please, introduce your names," Vina asked the four of them to introduce themselves. 

“My name is Vail.” 

"I'm Rii," 

“Cini.” 

“….” The introduction was unusual and made everyone in the class surprised and didn't understand whether it was an introduction. 

"Just like that? Is there no continuation after that..." Tasya felt irritated by their introduction. 

"All three of us have memory loss, so we don't know what to say to ourselves," Cini said showed awkward feelings and a sad voice. 

“I…sorry, I didn't know.” Tasya withdrew her previous words, she felt so guilty. 

"Of course, we lied about that," Rii informed. 

“….” Again and again, Tasya felt humiliated and also very annoyed and irritated. 

“We were travelers looking for something until we came to this kingdom. That's all we can tell you, please understand the rest." Vail told them all. 

Hearing this statement, all the students in the class were very upset, especially Tasya. Because she was the only one who was so annoyed. 

“Please forgive what the three of them said. My name is Maya, daughter of the Jani family." Maya introduced herself. 

“Jani's family? Could it be that family that owns lots of restaurants!” One of the male students was surprised to hear that. 

“That's true, only not anymore. My brother has taken over, for the future.” Maya said. 

“Alright, study time will begin…the four of you can sit in the empty seats up there.” Vina pointed to two empty tables above. 

Vail, Rii, and Cini were very impressed with the layout of the class area which rose upwards, like a hill. 

When it came to break time, all the students came to Maya. They did not expect that the child of a famous restaurant business owner would arrive in such a low class. 

"They cornered Maya with all their questions." 

The three of them saw Maya from behind the crowd. 

"Guys..."

"What?" 

“….” Vail saw Cini who asked him to look at a woman who seemed to be looking at the three of them. 

"Miss Maya, is one of them your boyfriend?" One of the women gathered asked so curiously. 

“They were the ones who saved me,” Maya said. 

“….” The women screamed happily hearing this. 

“Asino wait!” 

“….” 

Vail, Rii, and Cini saw one woman leaving the classroom and one woman chasing her. 

"Do you know her?" Vail was so curious. And asked those who surrounded Maya. 

"We know her, but not like Kila...Asino is always quiet and cold, maybe she's disturbed and uncomfortable with this situation." The female student informed. 

"If I may ask, how long is the break?" Cini wants to make sure before deciding on something. 

"This academy has very long break times, if I'm not mistaken, it's more than three hours." 

"You're new here, I'll tell you, my name is An. The person chosen by Vina's teacher to lead the class." An introduced himself. 

An informed them that they were coming in on the fifth day and informed them again. If tomorrow the academy will be closed for two days. 

Vail, Rii, and Cini understood the meaning of An's words. They thought that Startlight Academy followed the same learning schedule as their world. 

"Perhaps Mansa told us about the learning system of his world, which is the same as ours," Rii concluded. 

"Is there such a thing as a place to eat here?" Cini wanted to be sure and asked An. 

“Of course, each floor has its cafeteria.” An informed. 

Knock. Knock. Knock. 

They turned around and were surprised to see the head of the academy coming to their class. And walked towards the new student. 

“Are you guys enjoying this academy?” Lina wanted to hear the answers of the three of them, especially Vail. 

“Why are you here? Don't tell me you're running away from your responsibilities.” Vail complains about Lina's arrival. 

“….” All the students were shocked by Vail's words which seemed rude to Lina. 

"Hey! Don't say rude things to—" 

“Tia.” Tasya tried to calm Tia who was so upset. 

"Come on out..." Sofy said in a low voice. And took Tia to the cafeteria. 

"See what happens when you come," Rii informed. 

“You guys…I'll be back, though. Tia, Tasya, Sofy.” Lina called the three of them. 

“….” They were silent and waited for the next words from the head of the Academy. 

“I want you guys to take them on a tour of the academy, do you mind?” Lina asked the three of them to invite Vail, Rii, Cini, and Maya. 

"Not at all academy principal, then we will wait outside the classroom." Tasya smiled irritably. Because she had to invite three men who annoyed.
