Chapter: *An* *Escape* *Plan*

The black robed, dark figure radiated a bloodthirsty and ruthless aura, he beamed a smile at the group. For a moment there, it caused their mind to grow tranquil and see this youth in a good first impression.

However, Greenwood was shaking, his pupils constricted into a tiny dot and his mouth hang open.

"Special adviser?!" Greenwood managed to blurt out those words.

The rest expression darkened, sweat drenching their backs.

'isn't this the special adviser, Greenwood relied on for Intel? We were being set up!'

Parker held the pendant of the necklace in his palm, it's warm glow giving him a slight reassurance, that he should be able to escape.

"Greenwood, pleasing to see you here" The youthful figure smirked, a red light flashes from his eyes.

"It's not pleasing to see you here. What's going on, old friend?" Greenwood couldn't simply believe the man had most likely betrayed him, so he still had a sliver of hope, that all this was a joke.

"What's going on? Your burial of course" The President answered instead.

Greenwood's expression warped with terror and he shook his head.

"So it seems, you have been scheming against me since the beginning, isn't that right?" Greenwood's eyes turned blood red, he stared at the special adviser.

"Scheme? Lol, you were merely a pawn in the chess board, I just catfished you and let you do the rest. Your death will leave one less problem for the people, vile scum" The Special adviser ridiculed Greenwood with contempt and disdain.

Greenwood roared with laughter, a hint of craziness could be felt.

"If I should be correct, the president didn't suffer any backlash, eh?" Greenwood looked crazy.

"That's correct but my main body isn't here at the moment. This clone has 60% of my full power but that's enough to kill you lots countless times" The President chuckled.

Parker subconsciously breathed a slight sigh of relief, the president using a clone gives him a faint flicker of hope to escape successfully.

Greenwood's squinted his eyes and a strange force transmitted information directly into the minds of Roy, Parker and Sharon.

"This is a set up. The plan is to escape right now, I will handle the special adviser, you lots should stall the Clone together, I have already activated a spatial disk, we just need to survive this for 5 more mins and we're out. Understood?" Greenwood stretched out his hand and the obsidian scepter appeared, he didn't wait for their replies.

Without a moment of hesitation, an extremely blood red color dyed the void in crimson, turning the space to something akin to a purgatory. A bloodthirsty and savage aura erupted from Greenwood, the domain manifested, surged to envelope the black robed figure.

The president smirked and was about to flick his sleeves when multiple domain pressures emerged, the stifling presences caused his expression to change a bit.

A starry-like splendor covered the crimson void, brilliant rays of light twinkled, akin to stars studded in the universe, several nebulae could be seen within it, it's view was breathtaking but at this moment, it's domain pressure was terrifying.

A gigantic snake, several thousands of metres in length appeared with the starry-like domain, it's predatorial gaze swept across the surroundings, causing even space to shudder, it's scales were shimmering with black and gold, a horn jotted out of it's head, although, it didn't superimposed with the starry-like domain but it's presence within it, suddenly doubled the terrifying pressure emanated.

A sea of white bones surged into existence underneath the tail of the gigantic snake, the bones had a strange lustre and life, it seemed as if they were brimming with life force, ghastly ghoul energy shot out from them, faint cries and howls sounded out from the bones, striking out terror in the hearts of the onlookers.

"Astral domain!"

"Giant snake domain!"

"Ghoul domain!"

All their voices superimposed to form a cacophony.

# BOOOOMMMM!!

An enormous amount of energy sprayed in multiple direction, causing an energy cloud to form. Within the cloud, crackling blue flashes of light snaked through. Greenwood took two steps back, the sweet sensation of blood in his throat reminded him of the damage, he had taken.

A terrifying figure flicked his sleeves and the energy cloud dissipated, blue lightning snakes writhing around his body, forming something akin to a suit of armour, the person looked like a thunder god. Blue flashes of light covered his body, the blood red domain of Greenwood was meaningless.

The black robed figure snorted and it's body tore through space.

"Lightning Overdrive!" The man's voice reverberated through the noise of thunder rumbling.

His body writhed in lightning, already struck Greenwood before his voice could be heard despite the fact, he had spoken before actually attacking.

Greenwood flew backwards through the void, like a kite with it's strings cut, coughing up blood.

Greenwood was shocked, the man was so fast, he couldn't react before getting hit.

Numerous charred flesh and burn marks was on his body, his robe had also burnt but just the chest region, afterall, it wasn't just ordinary.

Greenwood managed to stabilize himself and thrust the space towards the incoming enormous lightning man, speeding in his direction, the scepter's tip radiated a strange light, seemingly causing every energy particles to become slow and even space to be twisted, the surrounding space seemed to have folded and sluggish.

The writhing flash of blue light got caught in this folded space but it was ruthlessly torn apart, thunderous booms echoed out, drowning all sounds in it's wake, the figure's fingers held the tip of the scepter as if it was nothing. Countless blue bolts of lightning struck down, forming a lightning cage around Greenwood.

"You are weak, boy. Just like the rest of them. You think, you can hold me down? Hahahahaha, a mere top silver ranker like you can't compare to a peak Silver ranker as myself" The special adviser voice sounded out, the thunderous booms had quieted down.

....

In another part of the battlefield.

The three powerful domains stacked together to create a terrifying pressure to suppress the president, although the three domains couldn't fuse due to lack of similarities and complex nature, the stacked effect was still something, hardly any silver ranker could withstand it.

However, the clone of the president wasn't just 'any' Silver ranker, this was 60% of a gold ranker.

The president stretched out his hand and it seemed as if the void was collapsing, the hand grew in size until it became the skies, covering everywhere, not even the starry domain or the giant snake nor the sea of bones could impede it's movement.
