"Yes, Young Master."

Of course Joe Maiden would do whatever Brian Jones ordered. The young man was his new boss. There was no reason for him to refuse.

"It's fine for you to announce I have returned, but please hide my identity."

Joe Maiden looked confused. "Why should it be, Young Master?"

"I haven't done a DNA test yet."

Joe Maiden sighed tiredly, "There is no doubt for me that you are really Master Simon's grandson, Young Master."

"I know. But hearing your story about lots of people trying to take over my grandfather's. Do you understand what I mean?" Brian explained carefully.

Joe Maiden gasped. He immediately bowed low and said, "You're right, Young Master. Gosh, you're so smart. Without a doubt, you have the same intelligence as Master Simon."

Brian waved his hand. "You're exaggerating, I'm not as smart as you say. I'm just being careful."

Joe Maiden smiled brightly. "Fine, I understand. I will immediately carry out your order."

Upon their return to J-House, Joe Maiden also called so many journalists from various media. Not only printed or digital magazines or newspapers, the secretary also summoned television and radio journalists.

At least hundreds of journalists had gathered in front of the late Simon Jones's residence, J-House.

Brian Jones, who watched the announcement, was even amazed to see that so many people wanted to know the news about the rich businessman from that country.

"J Company will be led by Mr. Simon Jones' only biological grandson, namely B. Jones who is the son of the late Mr. Marco and Mrs. Beatrice."

Joe Maiden immediately got off the stage after explaining briefly about the businessman's still mysterious grandson.

So many journalists were dissatisfied with the statement made by Joe Maiden, the reporters pressed him even more.

"Then, when will he appear to the public, Mr. Maiden?"

"Where is he now? Is he abroad or in this country?"

"Why is his identity hidden?"

Various questions were raised but Joe Maiden only answered briefly, "In the near future, you will soon find out."

Brian, who saw the news through the screen, suddenly gritted his teeth.

"Why do you say that?" scorned Brian as soon as Joe Maiden entered Brian's lounge.

Joe Maiden looked confused.

"Mr. Maiden, you already told the reporters that I will appear soon. Meanwhile, right now I don't even know what to do. You got me in trouble."

“Young Master, calm down!” Joe Maiden said quietly.

Brian shouted a little, "How can I calm down? I'm only 20 years old and I'm just a student majoring in Business Management. And you said I'll be appearing in public soon? What can I do?"

"I can't be ready, never will be ready!" Brian added while massaging his temples because he felt really, really dizzy.

Joe Maiden refrained from remaining silent before he was sure Brian didn't say anything.

"Young Master, I understand everything. My point is, you keep coming to J-Corporation just to show them you're the rightful heir to discourage them from doing anything. After that, you can continue your studies while learning about the company."

Brian paused. His annoyed look at Joe Maiden changed. He was no longer irritated and instead said, "Why didn't you explain from the start?"

Joe smiled, "Forgive me, this is my mistake. The important thing is that you don't need to worry, I will arrange for you but also with your consent."

"Very well, then."

After that, the medical officer called by Joe Maiden came and took Brian's blood sample to match with Marco Jones and also Simon Jones.

This was intended to strengthen the relationship between the three people so that no one could interfere with Brian's legitimacy in the future.

Joe breathed a sigh of relief after the sampling, "Young Master, tomorrow Mr. Jones' personal lawyer will come to announce Mr. Simon's will."

Brian was again worried. "Are the rest of my father's family coming as well?"

"No, Young Master. The other family members are not allowed to set their foot in J-House."

"Why is that?" Brian asked in surprise.

"There are many reasons, but only Master Simon knows for sure."

Mystery?

Again and again?

Good grief, How many secrets does his grandfather have? Brian became even more clueless.

"Then how are they going to know about the will?" Brian was getting more critical in asking.

"They'll get a copy. It'll be sent after the attorney reads it to you."

"Lawyer? Does he know who I am?" Brian was starting to worry.

"Yes, Young Master. Frank Milton. He is Mr Simon's trusted attorney."

Brian played with his hands, getting agitated, "Are you sure he won't tell my secret?"

"Yes, Young Master. Frank Milton becomes a famous lawyer was because of Mr. Simon. He would never dare betray you."

Brian couldn't quite believe the person his grandfather's secretary was talking about but he couldn't possibly say.

Joe seemed to sense Brian's confusion, he said, "Mr. Simon has prepared everything. Mr. Simon just found out about your existence, but he already loves you. As soon as he found out about you, he immediately replaced all of his assets in your name."

For the first time Brian felt a little touched. Not because his grandfather gave him all his wealth but his grandfather loved him. Suddenly he felt his life was very funny.

During this time he lived completely lacking and always humiliated because of his poverty.

However, it turned out that one of his family members was one of the richest people in the world.

"Young Master, is there anything else you need?"

"My lecture." Brian had just remembered that he had been absent from college for two days.

Joe Maiden immediately responded, "I have already sent a letter to your campus side, Young Master."

"What? About what?" Brian was worried.

"You are off for one week."

Joe's answer made Brian breathe a sigh of relief. That's exactly what he needed right now. People also might only think that he wanted to be alone after losing his grandfather.

"Anything else, Young Master?"

"No. Thank you, Mr. Maiden."

"You don't need to thank me, Young Master. It is my duty to serve you. And please call me Joe."

Brian nodded, no longer had the strength to argue because he was too tired.

That night, for the first time, Brian occupied a luxurious room that he had never imagined before. He occupies the 7th floor with super complete facilities like a luxury hotel.

But, still he could not sleep that night. His mind was still drifting.

Starting from he lost his lover who had betrayed him, then the death of his grandfather who had cared for him since childhood and then he had to witness his biological grandfather lose consciousness before his eyes and finally died.

No one wanted to experience these painful things one after another, but he certainly couldn't choose his destiny.

The next day, Joe Maiden, who apparently didn't live with his grandfather, had met him in the morning after Brian had finished cleaning himself.

"Your lawyer is waiting for you on the 4th floor, Young Master."

Brian immediately went down and met the lawyer who was apparently still very young.

"Young Master," Frank greeted with a bow.

Brian nodded stiffly and motioned for Frank to sit down. Ah, he should start getting used to the attitude of the people around him.

"You are so young," Brian said.

"I'm 35 years old."

Brian was surprised, "You are 15 years older than me. But your face looks much younger."

Frank smiled and changed his expression, "I'm so sorry about the passing of Mr. Simon."

Brian nodded slightly.

Frank seemed to have difficulty establishing communication with Brian and finally chose to get to the point. "May I read Mr. Simon's will now, Young Master?"

"Yes, please!"

As Joe Maiden said, all assets belonging to Simon Jones were given to Brian Jones while the other Simon families only got a part of the inheritance of Simon's father who was Brian's great-grandfather.

As soon as the lawyer left, Brian immediately said to Joe, "This is crazy. He left everything for me."

"You are the only one related by blood to him."

"That has not been proven."

"The results will be out tomorrow morning, Young Master."

Brian was furious. "What if they are hostile to me?"

"You don't have to worry about that. We'll protect you, the Alfred Joneses can never touch you."

Brian remembered the name, "Doesn't he have a good relationship with them?"

Joe Maiden fell silent.

"Hey, I asked you, Joe. Only you can answer that. You can't possibly expect me to ask my grandfather who is already breathing his last, before I even ask a lot of questions?"

Joe Maiden gave in, "Fine, Young Master. I'll tell you everything."

Brian nodded happily.

Joe Maiden began to explain about the complicated relationship between Alfred Jones who was Simon's nephew which meant the man was his father's cousin.

"Mr. Marco has always competed with Mr. Alfred since long ago. Both of them chose the profession of being a doctor but Mr. Alfred chose to stop when Mr. Marco disappeared."

"Why did he stop?"

"Because after Mr. Marco left, Mr. Alfred wanted to take Mr. Marco's place. But Master Simon would never allow it."

Brian's head suddenly ached. "So, now I have to deal with him? If the story goes like that. He must really hate me now. Do you think he'll really bother me?”

Joe Maiden gulped.

“Why are you silent, Joe?” Brian was suspicious.

“Mr. Alfred works at J-Corporation as one of the directors, Young Master. You'll see him later."

Brian gaped in surprise. "What? You said he couldn't touch me. How dare you lie to me!"
