Tristan barely slept, he spent most hours of the night either monitoring the panicked Freya’s movement or by the window side, in thoughts.
How to make his parents more proud.
How to rise to fame soonest by gathering more taboo points.
How to humble his enemies the more.
But most especially……..
How tomorrow was gonna be after the record. By now, the police were already set to take action.
“Good it's outside, lest they'd suspect me.” He breathed deep. In his new body, he was a secret villain, striking when least expected. And that's best under his secret identity.
Morning came faster than expected, Freya had already woken up.
Zzzzz! Zzzzz! Zzzzz!
The snoozing alarm on the bedside table forced Freya to wake. Her eyes gradually widened, scanning the environment around her, narrowing her eyes. Tristan was watching.
“This’ not home,” she exclaimed to herself, trying to recall the events of yesterday. Seeing herself in nothing she jumped up, heart attack lurking in.
“What……what did he do to me?”
After hours of not being under Tristan’s system fate or the charm of his Stimulated Hands, her brain was in the correct senses to realize she was being abused and the worst, she agreed to it.
“Fuck, and it's from a small boy.” She groaned, bashing her forehead.
She grunted and rolled over, twisting her body in agony. Tristan decided it was his best moment to step in. Turning over to her room, he unlocked the door and banged in with a burst of sinister laughter.
“Fuckkkkk!” She jumped up in fury, it dawned on her she was naked. Next moment she was trying to cover her boobs and her groin.
“What's it with you? We came to get an investment deal but rather you turned to abuse me. Where's Jayson? Where's Jayson?” She lashed out, panicky but instead Tristan remained there still, grinning now, his arms crossed against his chest but not saying anything.
“Ridiculous!” She hissed, searched for he dress to put on, she found it and rushed over it. With scattered hair and an unwashed face, she was storming towards the door but Tristan slid into her path, blocking her.
“Where do you think you're going?” His voice loomed with such dark aura she stumbled back a bit.
“Will you let me go or I'll call the police? You think because…….”
Tristan maintained the grin, not seeming any disturbed.
“I'll report to the police. I'll sue you.” She laid her firm threats but Tristan flashed his second phone over her face.
“The police?” He lowered his face to her making her flinch backward a bit. “Remember this?” He played the video recording to her.
“Official deal?”
He'd asked. They nodded nervously.
“Show us the complete documents, business strategy you'd employ to ensure this case of bankruptcy doesn't occur again.”
They didn't show any.
“Seize the phone from them.”
Literally meaning she had no phone with her at the moment.
“I can't do anything to you without your acceptance. Now I'm giving you two choices, I call the cops and sue you to court to pay for damages or you do whatever I ask of you now and possibly get the financial aid you get.”
The most important of all. Freya had gone speechless. Tristan smirked.
“You think because I'm a teen that I've got no sense upstairs such that you and your fiance could come to scam?”
Seeing the level of guilt and not wanting to enter police’s hands so her other crimes won't be revealed, she dropped to her knees.
“Let's continue….. do with me whatever but please let me see my Jayson.” She was at the verge of tears.

[Do not trust Target 1.]
“I was never going to trust someone who caused my death,” Tristan replied. He knew Freya’s tears were out of fear and a woman in fear is a dangerous woman.
Locking sinister gaze with Freya, he grinned. “Don't worry, I'll tame you.”
Freya’s lips parted, she tried to process why and what he meant specifically. Tristan snapped her out of her thoughts, with just his fingers snapping, a guard rushed in. One of those standing guard at the hallway.
“Yes sir,” he bowed.
“I'm giving her twenty minutes to see her Jayson.” Then he leaned and whispered to him. “Mobilize the others, make sure they are being led out from there.”
Freya stared at them, trying to guess what they were saying but it was too low to her hearing. The guard came for her, scanning round and seeing nothing that belonged to her led her out. Tristan nodded to him.
Once out, he pulled out his phone and quickly sent messages to his colleagues. “Boss asked us to tactically deport them back.” Though delivered in a sarcastic tone, his colleagues knew what he meant and swung to action.
Tristan here scrolled to 911. They picked. “Please link up with the officers I spoke with yesterday.” They had already marked his number so that when the culprits leaves, he could call them.
Ian, Chris and Xavier were notified of Tristan’s order to leave as he didn't find their investment request legit enough. Their adrenaline popped up in high alert from where Jayson leaned towards them.
“Let's leave now lest we might be arrested. They have discovered it's a scam.” Jayson who had been locked up in the garden overnight said once reunited with Freya and her brothers.
“But we will invest ten thousand dollars and…..” Freya who was optimistic Tristan will accept their deal after his punishment was cut off by her brother, Ian.
“Are you a fool? Can't you see the look of things. Maybe his mom has notified him that we're scams.” Ian growled in low tone.
Seeing his sister's heart broken face, the second-born proceeded to tapping her on the back in consolation. “Don't worry we will make proposals to other companies.”
“Are you sure they will accept our request?” Xavier asked, chuckling. Ian shot him a furious look.
“You're always joking about serious matters.”
“We shouldn't have killed that asshole so soon. He knew how to handle operations. If he was there, no way our company would have gone bankrupt.” Xavier snapped quickly. Ian struck out his leg kicking him in the stomach. He yelped in pain. Ian's dagger stares followed. Chris and Jayson fumed, looking over to the guards who were gathering their stuff to send them away, wishing they didn't hear this.
“Let's do and get off here. It was just a waste of time.” Ian, the leading assassin growled before Xavier acted silly again.
The guards returned with their luggage, Freya and Jayson's phone but not without an order. “Any phone used within this premises will be ceased.”
Outside of Harold's Hotel, they waited at a nearby park from where Freya made a call. Her mom first to tell her they're coming back. Then their pilot.
Unknown to them, their phone was being tracked. Tristan had ordered the installation of an undetectable Spyware on both Freya and Jayson's phone after they were collected.
“Come brief me at the beauty studio when you arrive.” She said.
“Not Luxville?”
“Not at all. My new beauty saloon, Lux Spa. I'm here to receive people applying. You know we just started, I need to be present. So how did it go?”
Tristan who was listening picked his second phone quickly typing in the Studio name. Lux Spa. The website was under development. Only the logo and location alongside other vital information were given.
“Goooddd!”

Tristan smiled slowly as he read the holographic message floating in front of him.
“Kayla Clarkson,” he whispered softly, saying her name like it tasted poisonous. “The woman who planned my death. The woman who sat comfortably in her mansion and decided that Luis Martinez had to die so her daughter could marry a wealthy man.”
Then his hands tightened into fists until his knuckles turned white.

Tristan hummed.
He had two missions.
Those documents contained the original ownership papers of Luxville Interior Decor, the company he had worked endlessly for, suffered for, and spent three years building. He wouldn't leave it to his betrayers.
Without those documents, the Clarksons did not truly own anything.
While Freya and her brothers landed at the Bay in their helicopter which had arrived, and were trying to pull the body out, the Police drove up to them with a speed they couldn't escape.
“Hands up!”
“This is the police!” The order came up before they could process anything.
Panic cruised their veins as they trembled. The body which they were slowly pulling up dropped back into the water, those that were videoing videoed, the divers dashed into the water to retrieve the body and use as exhibit.
The group of five watched with shaking legs as the officers on foot advanced to them with handcuffs.
“You have all right to remain silent, for anything you say now, will or may be used against you in the court of law!”
One of the inspectors instructed them.
They were commanded to be taken to custody, they all became confused, wondering what was going on.
“What did we do officer, please this is a misunderstanding.” Freya tried to speak up while shivering.
But she was suddenly grabbed and pulled forward without any answer to her. They were all shocked as they officers began to handcuff them.
Everything happened so quickly that none of them had time to react properly.
Her fiancé stepped forward, looking angry and confused. He demanded to know why they were being arrested and asked what warrant the officers had.
“Officer, this can be fixed, please can we sit and discuss it properly?” His voice became louder as he continued questioning them.
But one of the officers stopped him and ordered him to stay back. When he tried to continue arguing, he was pushed away and given a firm warning to cooperate. The officer’s tone made it clear that there would be no discussion.
“A verified link was sent to us from this location, and we know what we are doing.” The lead officer said.
Despite their several desperate attempts to get more information from the officers on who might have cast them, nothing came out.
Three peed into their panties. They knew what it meant to be caught in such a case.
“What will happen to us now?” Jayson cried, wanting to blame Freya and her brothers. “I told you guys I never wanted to participate in this.” He said as they were about being taken to the van.
“Didn't we do this for you? Why do you want to count yourself out?” Freya sneered loudly, bursting into tears.
“Leave him!” Her brothers hissed but one thunderous scold from the police got each and every one of them dumb at once.
The officers seized their phones. Back in Vermont, Kayla was prepared to welcome her daughter. She had no idea of their arrest. When she called and no one replied, she thought they were on flight and would reply as soon as they land.
After confirming their arrest and retrieval of his past body from the police, Tristan proceeded on his journey.
“I'll make sure I get this job, even if it's for today.”

Chapter 129
“That's a lie.”“You have no right to accuse me of lying!”“You just admitted that my father came here with proof of my inheritance. Those papers didn't disappear by themselves.”Sir Harold's face reddened. “Your father was injured during our argument. Everything happened quickly. I was trying to prevent the situation from becoming worse.”“And the inheritance documents?”“I don't remember what happened to every paper he carried.”Tristan studied him for several seconds.“You expect me to believe you remember the argument, the fall, and the decision not to contact the police, but you can't remember what happened to the documents that could have made me wealthy?”“I was not thinking about money at the time!”“Then you shouldn't mind helping me find the truth.”Tristan picked up the brown folder he had taken from the drawer. “I'll have these documents examined. If they're genuine, I'll know where to begin looking for the rest.”Madison hurried toward him.“You cannot take those papers!”
Chapter 128
Sir Harold's silence returned.Tristan placed the first folder on the desk and reached for the small notebook. Several pages contained dates and short entries, most of them written in the same handwriting. He flipped through them until he found an entry made on the day of Daniel's death. The handwriting was hurried.Daniel arrived to collect the boy. He refused to leave without him. Argument with Sir Harold. Injury sustained. Madison instructed staff to keep the child upstairs.Tristan stopped reading. He looked at Madison.“You ordered them to keep me upstairs?”She folded her arms tightly. “You were a child. You didn't need to witness an argument between adults.”“An argument that ended with my father dying?”“We didn't know that would happen!”“Then why did you make sure I couldn't come downstairs?”Madison's eyes flashed. “Because your father was shouting, and you were frightened! I was trying to protect you from a scene you wouldn't have understood.”Tristan turned back to the not
Chapter 127
Sir Harold's face went pale again.Madison took a quick step toward him. “Don't answer that.”But Tristan had heard her.He stared at the couple, feeling the last of his childhood trust disappear.“What happened to my father wasn't the only secret you buried, was it?”Neither of them spoke.Tristan opened the door and walked out.He had barely reached the end of the corridor when his phone vibrated. An unfamiliar number appeared on the screen. He almost ignored it, but something made him answer.“Tristan Lawson?” a man asked.“Who is this?”“My name is Peter Cole. I worked at the Harold estate years ago. I heard you've started asking questions about Daniel Lawson.”Tristan stopped walking.“Who gave you my number?”“That doesn't matter. What matters is that you need to stop asking questions in that house.”“Why?”The man took a shaky breath.“Because I was there the night your father died. And Sir Harold wasn't telling you the whole truth.”Tristan tightened his grip on the phone.“Wha
Chapter 126
“You gave me a room, food, and a name to live under. You took away the truth about my parents and expected me to spend the rest of my life thanking you.”Madison's face flushed. “After everything we've done, you dare to speak to us like this?”“After everything you've done, you still think I owe you gratitude?”Sir Harold struck the desk with his palm. “Watch your mouth, Tristan!”The command echoed through the study. For a moment, the old power imbalance returned. Tristan remembered all the years he had lowered his head whenever Sir Harold spoke, the times he had swallowed insults to keep peace in the household, and the countless occasions when he had been treated as though his presence depended on their approval. But he was no longer that helpless boy.He placed the letter carefully inside the envelope and slipped it into his pocket.“You said my father died here,” Tristan continued. “Was it an accident?”Sir Harold hesitated. That hesitation made Tristan's stomach tighten.“Was it a
Chapter 125
“And I'm asking you for the last time. Where is my father's letter?”Sir Harold's jaw worked, but he remained silent.Tristan turned back to the keypad and tried another date: the day he had officially entered the Harold household. The lock clicked.Madison gasped.Tristan opened the door. The study smelled of leather, old paper, and the faint scent of Sir Harold's cologne. Everything stood neatly in place, from the books on the shelves to the framed family photographs on the desk. Tristan had entered the room countless times over the years, but never with the feeling that he might finally discover something about himself. He went straight to the filing cabinet.“Don't touch anything!” Madison shouted from the doorway.Tristan ignored her and opened the top drawer.Folders filled the cabinet, arranged by year and category. He scanned the labels quickly, looking for anything related to his childhood or the date on the placement document. Most of the folders contained company records.Th
Chapter 124
“Be careful, Tristan. Whatever happened between your father and Sir Harold, it clearly wasn't a small matter.”The call ended.Tristan walked outside and raised his hand to stop a passing taxi. He gave the driver the address of the Harold estate, then settled into the back seat with his phone in his hand.He had told Richard he wouldn't return to obey the Harolds. That hadn't changed. But if Sir Harold possessed a letter from his biological father, Tristan wasn't going to leave it in the hands of someone who had spent years lying to him.He would get answers. And this time, he wouldn't leave until he had them. The taxi moved through the afternoon traffic, but Tristan barely noticed the journey. His mind kept returning to the document and the name Richard had given him.Daniel Lawson. He opened his browser and searched for the name.
