*Still on flashback*
Omg am dead I yelled but no one could hear me.
"You succeeded in killing me you bastard" I screamed running towards uncle Charles to hit him but I ended up phasing through him and falling hard on the floor.I sat there crying my eyes out.
"The doctor is here"someone shouted amist the crowd, I quickly stood up dried my tears "Can you please help me?, please don't let me die" I begged the doctor who it was obvious he can't hear me as he walked straight to my body.
"Doctor please is she dead,can you restore her" uncle Charles asked keeping an innocent faced while I glared at him in annoyance.
The doctor ran some examination on my body while I looked intently at him
"Well Your niece is not yet Dead" he said after All his examination
Uproar sounded among the crowd that gathered.
"Really "uncle Charles yelled surprised as his countenance changed
"Yes,but she has a weak heartbeat"the doctor added
I was kinda happy because of the small ray of hope on my survival.
"Boys take her upstairs"uncle Charles said
They carried my body and entered inside while the doctor followed them behind,I ran after them and walked just in front of the doctor.
We were walking up the stairs when on of my uncles men turned and pointed a gun at me I was completely scared
"Shut up" he said and I held my lips shaking in fear
The guy carrying my corpse threw the corpse on the floor as he approached me with a dagger.
So they can see me I thought.
"Please don't kill me" I heard the doctor said behind me,that was when I realized that they were referring to the doctor.
"Please i didn't do anything" he begged
But they ignored his pleas as the man used the dagger to cut through his throat.
"Oh my God" I cried as I ran away from the scene ….
*Back to present*
The day I got murdered still remained fresh in my mind as if it was yesterday.
Jay POV
I was able to flag down a bike,because it seems no taxi was headed to oyigbo due to the bad road there,and as it rained last night the road would be a very bad place to tread.
"I no fit go oyigbo for N1000 lemme tell you"the bike man said still debating on his price in his pigin dialet.
"Okay lets go for N1200" i said all tense up cause I was already late for my interview.
"Oga N1500 last oo,if you dont agree come down from my bike" the bike man said sternly
"Okay you can go please" I muttered pissed off,all these inflation in transportation prices is due to the bad road and high price of fuel.
Only the people living around oyigbo area would know what I mean,but anyways.it was a long drive to oyigbo couple with the bad road,but the bike I boarded was surprisingly fast,as he drove me speedily to my destination.
I paid him and immediately I got to my destination and quickly dashed inside the venue for the interview.
"Good afternoon,please is the interview still on going" I asked the receptionist I saw immediately I enter the company.
"The interview ended an hour ago"the receptionist replied.
"didn't get the memo that the interview will begin by 8am and end by 11am?" She asked.
"F*ck"i yelled in my mind "is that so" I muttered disappointed
with myself
I just wasted my last 1500 for nothing,josh go laugh me tire today I said to myself. I walked out of the company seriously disappointed and even worse I would have to treck back home,because I no other cash on me.
Ever since I ran away from home to face life,its been one disappointment to another. I almost had this job I muttered to myself angrily as I walked down the road.the spoilt road did not make it any easier for my old shoe as the mud and stones tried to snuff the remaining leather on the shoe,I need a change of shoes though but how do I change them when I don't even have a job,everyday just gets more frustrating for me.

Different thoughts flowed in my head as I trecked down the road,my legs were begining to ache cause of the long distance I covered on foot,and the scorching sun didn't help either.
I won't have been facing all these suffering if my dad had helped me out,instead he chose to drink and lavish the little money he earns on friends.
My mum is my only source of help,but I stopped collecting money from her so she could take good care of her self.
Different thoughts about my life kept flooding my head has I walked down the road under the horse sun,sweating like a sacrificial goat.
"Wait oo"I muttered to myself as I stopped and turned to view the long distance I have covered "so I'm really going to use leg and treck home?" I asked my self.
"Won't I just die,me I'm tired of suffering oo" I said talking to myself no minding the passerby staring at me. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a transport fare oo,cause this journey fit kill me,I kept telling to my self.
I sighed and turned to continue the journey which I was forced to truck when I noticed a girl sitting by the corner of a big tree staring at me.
Other's would Stare at somebody and look away but see as this girl is just looking at me intently I thought.
"Excuse me,but it not nice to stare at someone like that" I yelled at the girl who immediately turned and looked at her both sides and kept quiet
"Am talking to you" I said pointing at her and she looked around again
"Me??" She asked pointing to her self
"Yes you,it not nice to stare like that" I said pissed off
"Wait !,you mean me? Can you see me?" She asked as she stood up from were she sat.
"Yes you,why wouldn't I see you. I caught you staring at me and I don't like it" I said as I turned to go but she held my hand and it felt cold against my skin
"Omg I can touch you" she said as she looked happy as she touched me again.
"Please don't touch me your hand is cold" I replied as I was getting angry with her cold touch
"I can't believe you can see me" she said as she jumped for joy
Wait oo what if I was talking to a mad girl I thought.
"Why can't I see you is only spirit that's invisible" I joked and she nodded
"Wait are you a spirit" I asked shocked by her nodding
"Yes and nobody else sees me she said smiling
Immediately goose pimples fill my body
"What!!" I screamed as I found it hard to believe,truly I was talking to a mad girl I thought.
I looked around and almost everybody stood outside staring at me some children laughing while some shaking their head as if they felt pity for someone.
"Chai people are wicked oo,how can they make a young fine boy like this Mad,and he is even well dressed" I heard a woman nearby said to her neighbor
"Maybe na new madness" the neighbor replied.
"Hey hey" the girl yelled tapping me.
"Ghost ghost" I screamed and ran away throwing away bag

The officers freed Jay’s hands from the chains used to bond him and raise him up to the ceiling.
