Bam!

Austin slid several meters back. His classmates behind him quickly dodged him.

"Urrghh!" Austin let out a groan.

Austin felt a great pain in his left arm, which was red now.

Seeing the state of his hand, Austin shook his head.

"No choice but to use my fire."

He wanted to know how he fared without using his blue fire and the result was clear. If he continued like that, he would lose in the next attack.

He gripped his sword again with his two hands but this time he channeled his mana.

"Flare."

Sizzzzzle!

Blue fire appeared on his hands and it quickly spread on the whole sword. He also put more mana to cover his body.

"You're finally taking me seriously."

Riona uttered. She gave him a good punch to force him to get serious and it worked.

Whoosh!

Austin jumped at full speed toward Riona.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

He swung his sword at a very high speed. Orion could see just the afterimage.

But Riona parried all of his attacks just with her hands.

Or rather she was using her ability to parry his attacks. Using her ability in her own hands, she enhanced speed and strength.

Austin was feeling frustrated as none of his attacks hit the mark. He swung again, but sloppily.

Riona dodged easily and raised her knee to her waist. Then, at an astounding speed, she extended her right foot toward Austin's chest.

Bam!

Crash!

Austin was sent flying away fast and crashed into a tree.

"""Eh ?"""

They were all stunned by Riona's attack. The kick felt very familiar but they couldn't remember.

"Ta-Taekwondo...?"

It was Orion who muttered loudly as he was shocked.

Orion's father was a great fan of martial arts. He would watch all day long with Orion. He was forced to see his father's favorite hobby, so his father brainwashed him quickly. Thus, he also became a fan of martial arts.

Obviously, he also saw the famous Korean martial art, Taekwondo. But he was more shocked by the fact that Riona, who was from this world, used a martial art of Earth.

For there was no doubt the kick she just used was the famous Front Snap Kick. He had an excellent memory, so he knew he was right.

His classmates, hearing his mutter, were also shocked.

"Ehhhh?!"

"Taekwondo in a fantasy world ?! "

"What the hell ?"

Hearing the commotion, Riona explained.

"It's normal, it was one of the previous otherworlders who taught this martial art to us."

"Eh! previous otherworlders ?" A girl asked.

"Yes, hundreds of years ago..."

Orion was confused by what she said. On earth they were in the year 2016. Hundreds of years before meant before or during the First World War.

'Did Taekwondo exist at that time ?'

But he quickly threw aside this thought. It was possible that time didn't flow equally in both worlds.

'If ever we return to Earth, will it be the same Earth or the Earth of a distant future... ?'

If time flowed slowly here and quickly on Earth, it was possible that the people they knew wouldn't be alive anymore when they returned.

Orion thought that he didn't really care, as he didn't have anybody there for him. But what about his classmates who still had their families there worrying about them?

Thud!

Bringing him out of his thoughts, a sound echoed from a nearby tree.

"Ah...ah...ah...ah...ah..."

Austin, who was completely forgotten, was bleeding from the head. He was using the broken tree as support.

"Do you want to continue ?" Riona asked.

"Yes..." Austin nodded with a tired smile.

"Then com..."

Thud!

Before Riona finished, Austin collapsed on the ground.

""""...""""

"Maybe I should have held back." Riona thought seriously about what was obvious.

"Au-Austin!"

Elena wanted to rush to him but several maids had already come and did their job to heal Austin with great pleasure...

"Elena, stop glaring at the maids, your husband will be okay."

Daisy comforted her.

"Yeah...W-wait! What husband?!"

The whole class was already aware of Elena's crush, so they were used to her behavior. Well, the whole class except Austin himself and Orion, who was clueless as expected.

"Man, when I said to him she was a tsundere he didn't even believe me."

"Yeah, I don't know how to call that. Stupid or dense ?"

Austin's two friends, Jake and Jaxon, insulted the fainted Austin.

"Hmpf! Pathetic, right brother ?"

Vincent sneered at Austin's fainting after saying that he would continue.

"A clown like him has a unique ability, it's nonsense, like this trash."

Jordan replied arrogantly, glancing at Orion.

"Teacher!" Aura suddenly raised her hand.

"Yes Aura ?"

"You said hundreds of years ago otherworlders came in this world like us. Did they return back to Earth ?"

Aura asked a question which was obvious to everyone. If they had returned, they should have learned about them back on Earth.

But that wasn't what Aura wanted to know and Riona understood that.

All of her classmates' breaths stopped. They didn't ask because, for them, they just lived happily in this world, but it was obvious that the subject of the previous otherworlders was avoided by the people of the palace.

"You want to know where they are now or their descendance, right ?"

"Yes," Aura replied.

"I will tell you after today's training."

All the students sighed in disappointment but Riona didn't care.

If she told them now what happened, they would lose their motivation, so she preferred to tell them after the training.

"Now we will start the fights between you all. Take the paper in this tray."

Riona said, pointing the tray before her.

There were 34 papers with the absence of Austin and there was the same number twice in the papers. Like that, they could choose the fighting duo easily.

Soon, one by one, they picked a paper, Orion being the last.

In the past month, he had fought Austin, Aura, Sienna, Elena and others, but he won in none of the fights. The gap between them was that large.

Opening the folded paper, he read the number 1 on it.

'Sigh...I am the first.'

"Who picked the number one, raise your hand."

Riona said and two people raised their hands. Orion, with his hand raised, looked at his future opponent and froze.

'N-No way...!'

For a month, he luckily avoided him in the training matches but his chance turned today.

Riona smiled bitterly and spoke.

"Orion, Jordan, come forward."

  • In Nychterin

The Nychterin Empire, once overshadowed by hardship, had transformed into a beacon of power and resilience on the Dreamland continent. This remarkable evolution was a stark contrast to its past, a past marred by the scars of a war that had ravaged the nation hundreds of years earlier. During those tumultuous times, the Nychterin Empire had borne the brunt of the conflict, losing countless knights to the enemy's clutches. The aftermath was even grimmer, marked by a scarcity of labor and, more poignantly, a pervasive sense of desolation that had settled over the populace. Widows mourned, children became orphans, and the Empire seemed to teeter on the precipice of despair. Yet, amid this darkness, a glimmer of hope emerged. The Solaria Empire, a benevolent force, extended a compassionate hand to their beleaguered neighbors. Without seeking recompense, they aided in the Empire's reconstruction and dispatched healers to tend to the wounded souls. Although the specter of gloom lingered, the

  • Departing To Nychterin

“You-You want to take part in the tournament?”Selena stammered, speechless at Aita’s demand.“Yeah.”Aita nodded casually.“Why, suddenly? You told me yesterday you were not interested?”Selena tried her best to keep her calm.“I want the reward.”“!”Shock filled Selena’s face. Did he want the reward? So Princess Evelyn? She couldn’t believe it.“Wh-Why? You already have me…”Selena started to doubt her own worth now. She didn’t want to brag about it, but she considered herself not less beautiful than Evelyn Nychterin. Or maybe Aita liked the innocent-type more?“What?”Aita, as dense as ever, wondered what the hell she was speaking about. He only wanted the second reward, the other part of his spear after all.“Can I use you in need every day? Would you be with me any time?”Aita said in a mocking tone. She wasn’t a weapon after all.“Idiot!”-Thud!Selena threw the cup of coffee in Aita’s face and ran away with a tomato-red face.***“Princess.”“...”“Princess?”“Ah!”Selena brok

  • Aita And Elena [2]

“Ahhhh…He’s taking his time.” Daisy yawned as she rubbed her sleepy eyes. More than an hour had passed and Aita still hadn’t come out. She was on the verge of sleeping on the floor but held back. She could wait for Aita. Aita had still saved her best friend and her. “What the hell is he doing?!” Anna, still hidden in the corner, was reaching the limits of her patience. “Anna, seriously, we should go…I really want to sleep…” Isabel leaned on the wall and was on the verge of falling asleep like that. “No! Wait a little mor-” “Daisy?” “““!””” “Le-Lena?” Daisy was surprised to see Elena here. She was sure Elena would play or speak with Aura for a few more hours at least… “What are you doing outside and you will catch a cold like that.” Elena sighed, seeing Daisy standing there in a negligee. Elena was also wearing a blue negligee but she was wearing a jacket on it. “A-Ah, well…” Daisy scratched her head, not knowing what to do. Aita was still inside the room after all. Still,

  • Anna Is Overprotective

Late at night, Aita left his room. He wandered in the corridor of the palace aimlessly. The guards roaming around would bow to him upon seeing him, otherwise they would let him. They probably thought he wanted to take a breath of fresh air. After an hour or so, he started to walk toward the section reserved for the girls in his class. Like Daisy had promised, she would leave him in their room. Waiting for the right time, he went to the ladies' side. He made sure to erase any sound of his steps with his wind. He didn’t want to cause another uproar and be labeled with another cringe nickname. He already wanted to erase his memories just thinking about what he was doing. Infiltrating the ladies’ dormitory at night? Anyone would label him as human trash.Reaching the room of Daisy and Elena, Aita knocked on the door. He was having a hard time keeping his face from distorting. All his actions seemed like he was going to sleep with a woman late at night…“Look, Isabel, I knew it!”At the en

  • Enticing Reward

“You had a tough day, Aita.”Selena said with a glare. They went back to the palace and the first person who welcomed Aita was Selena. She had an exhausted complexion but she still looked like a perfect princess. Her sapphire eyes were staring angrily at Aita and mostly the knights of Lunarstella. She told them to look after Aita so he wouldn’t do anything, threatening their truce, but they couldn’t do anything. They all averted their faces in shame. They couldn’t tell that Aita at that time was too scary to speak to. More than that, they were also angry at Rex and the others for what they had done.“...”Aita stared at Selena. Her face overlapped with the mature Selena of the recording. Her tears, her sad expression, her helplessness, everything overlapped with the current Selena. He couldn’t understand why that woman he didn’t know at all was making his emotions stir that much. He cared for Selena Luna Lunarstella, but not her great-great-aunt.“Aita?”Selena called out to Aita sinc

  • Getting Out Of The Rift

“What happened…”Aura asked. Behind her were all her classmates, the knights of Solaria and Lunarstella. They were silently waiting for two people to answer. The two people were, of course, Aita and Elena who, after two days, finally reached the entrance of the rift. Austin, Jake, Jaxon and Daisy had already arrived as well the day before, so everyone was there. Well, everyone except Gaut and Rex, who were killed by Aita. By the way, Bein was sitting with a blank expression in a corner ignoring them. Anyway, most of the stares were gathered on two people. Aita and Elena. Aita had his black mask off but he still had his skin mask, which didn’t please him in the slightest as he felt uncomfortable with it, so his current annoyed expression. Right behind, strangely close to him, was Elena, who seemed to be happy to finally reunite with her classmates.“Nothing.”Aita replied clearly, showing that he was annoyed at her question, and walked ahead. “Hmpf!”Aura harrumphed and went to Elena
