In a small garden behind Ancorna's castle a woman in modestest clothing was standing while watching a tree where a bird was hatching from an egg. She had blonde hair, a pretty face with Hazel colored eyes , she had a small notable mole above her lips which made her look gorgeous.

A tall man walked and stood beside her and silently watched the egg hatch. He had blond hair with gray eyes and his skin tone was brown. He had a look of a war veteran that had been to many wars.

"It seems everything is going smoothly lady Lain.. the meat is cooked, the wine has been placed on the table." Said the man.

"Hmm, was there any trouble with making the meal, Keith?"

"Lady Lain we did had trouble with getting the proper wine but we managed, everything is fine"

"I see, …oh look at that Little young man walking" said Lain

A kid about 15 years old was walking towards them while having a wooden sword hung on his waist. He had black hair, a handsome face and blue eyes.

"Ha ha you're right Lady Lain but you shouldn't call Hughes little or else he won't talk to you for another day again." Said Keith

Hughes walked towards them with a bright smile on his face. Which didn't go unnoticed by Lain and Keith. Everyone knew that Hughes has been practicing sword fighting with someone recently , he has been coming back home very sad everyday. According to him this person has been beating him in every spar practice day in and night. So seeing him happy was a good change.

"Ha ha kid you seem to be very happy today? What's the occasion?" Said Keith.

Lain looked at him and smiled. She took out a small handkerchief and cleaned his hair which was drowned in dirt.

"Lad..y Lai..n I can cle..an my-" Hughes was struggling to stop Lady Lain from cleaning his hair.

"Is that so little Hughes how much have grown now you don't even need me? Are you going to plead your allegiance to Prince Landon? Eli? Or James?"

Hughes instantly got out of her hands and knelt one leg making a knight salute.

"Please don't joke like that My Lady, You know I pleaded my life to you and his highness long ago!"

"Ha this kid always gets serious, what a bummer" said Keith.

"Alright then tell us what's the occasion? Why are you smiling like that?"

"Oh that's because Prince Eugene had defeated the Conley Imperial Princess in a duel!! She had been beating me to the ground every single day but now she lost which made me happy!!" Said Hughes.

"What! How did the Young Master do that? " Said Keith while shocked but when he looked towards Lain he was even shocked she had no emotion on her face whatsoever it was like it was just a simple thing that happened.

She noticed Keith's looks and smiled.

In a large room which was  filled with many people wearing silk robes, anyone who saw this can easily tell that these were Nobles. This was a room in the Imperial Palace of Ancorna , today all the Nobles in and near the Capital City were gathering because the Conley Imperial Family was coming to meet with the Ancorna Imperial Family.

This meeting was being held even though both Empires hate each other. This was because Alec Ewan, Emperor of Ancorna foolishly tried to attack Conley but it backfired and a rebellion started inside his empire. Now the Ancorna Empire was the brick of Civil War which Alec was certain he would lose so he planned to meet with the root of the cause and negotiate. Alec always believed that having a strong army meant having power but he never guessed Conley could bring his Empire to this state without even deploying their Army. This is when Alec realized the power of having one of the largest information networks in the continent can also be dangerous.

Today on the surface this was a common meeting between two empires sharing broaders but only few knew that this meeting meant that Ancorna lost and Conley won. Nobody knew how the rebellion started but Alec had a hunch that it was because they had support from Conley , after investigation he found out that there was no clue left whatsoever it was as few these rebellion nobles are just a bunch of idiots with no backing this was the scary part if Alec could have been able to show proof that these rebellion nobles are with Conley killing them would have been easy but because there is no proof if he killed them other nobles will see him as a tyrant who kills people without proof making the matter worst turning the whole Empire against him. So he had no way other than to swallow his ego and accept defeat to maintain the status quo before Conley can actually defeat and take over.

The Doors to the Hall Opened and few people walked out , there were few Knights in Golden Colored Armor Guarding them. One Man Where one of the most lavish Silk Robes walked onto the Stage  as soon as he stood up on the stage everyone in the Hall Bowed to show him Respect.

The Man had Red Hair ,Gray eyes and brown skin. He had a handsome face however if one looked closer they can see that these eyes have seen many tragedies and death. He had an aura of someone who had won many battles , Someone who lost many comrades , A Emperor , A warrior that's what people say with just one look at him.

Who was this man? This was the Great Emperor of the Ancorna Empire. The One who believed Military Strength is all that's needed to be a great Emperor but Standing here He was sure that what he thought was wrong and he was ready to accept defeat. He might be a bad father and a bad Emperor but he was a great warrior and as such he must accept defeat when he lost that's the reason why he had called the Conley Emperor Edward for a meeting. He was not going to lose to his own people in a rebelion rather he would be more than happy to die in his enemies hands and to prevent dying by his own allies he has to accept defeat and offer something to Conley. The wonderful thing is he had just the right offer to negotiate , His Son Eugene and maid Lain if he promises protection for them in exchange for peace this will be an easy win and knowing Conley's ideology they hate wars so they will just accept it.

"Rise," Alec said.

"Today we are all gathered here to welcome our esteemed guests His Excellency Edward Roland and Her Excellency Jenny Roland, The Emperor and his wife of the Empire of Conley!! Today we will bring peace to our both Empires from the hatred of generations!!" Alec Continued of course this was not from his heart but a written speech.

He remembered some board games from his childhood like chess, checkers, and even snakes and ladders. These games were simple and didn't require any technology, which made them perfect for his kingdom where people didn't have access to electronic gadgets. With a design plan in mind, he went straight to the Council head of Construction and Development, Neil, to discuss his ideas."Neil, I have an idea that I think would be great for our kingdom. We need to provide more options for entertainment during holidays, and I believe board games would be

Once everyone was on board, a priest stood at the front of the deck and addressed the gathered men. "Today is a special day," he began, his voice echoing across the dock. "We are here to prove our loyalty to the gods and to our kingdom. We must demonstrate that we are willing to do whatever is necessary to protect our home." He then waved his hand and two of the women stepped forward. The men watched in anticipation as the priest began to strip away the women's clothing. When they were done, the women stood before the men wearing nothing but sheer silk. The priest then began to explain that the women were to be used as motivation for the men. It was implied and explicitly stated, that they would be used sexually to reward the men for their hard work. The women seemed unperturbed by the instructions, merely standing there with a stoic expression. The men, however, seemed to relish the prospect, already making plans to take turns with the women in the night. With that, the prie

"There is something you should know," she said in a hushed voice. "My lady's sword was stolen about a year ago. She has been very upset about it ever since."Anna's heart raced as she heard this. It was possible that the stolen sword was the one used in James's murder. If she could find out who stole it and when, she might be able to prove Landon's guilt."Thank you for telling me," Anna said, trying to sound grateful. "I won't forget your help."Anna turned and quickly made her way back to her own chambers. She knew that she had a lot of work to do if she was going to find the truth about what happened to James and Eli.====
