02::Cyrus and Aisha

Just as the succubus queen had ordered, some of the students began sprinting at full speed towards the demon castle. Cy was about dashing off because he would rather die trying to survive than die doing nothing.

But he stopped when he noticed Aisha was behind them and not wanting to participate.

"Hey, I know I'm not the best guy to say this but... Aren't you joining us?"

Aisha's frightened face was still the most gorgeous thing Cy had ever encountered. She gave him the look of" I'm scared, Cy knew that look too well.

"I know you're scared, but at least let's try, and I promise I'll protect you", said Cyrus, stretching his hand out as Aisha slowly grabbed it and dashed off.

The students arrived in front of the humongous golden black gate, some scared, some prepared, and others more than prepared.

"Alright guys, let's just open the door and stay there... No need to explore this place cuz it seems to have some demons in it."

Flash, the guy who had caused Cy to fall against Aisha's breast muttered to everyone as he cracked his knuckles.

However, before he could open the door himself, it slowly unlocked wide enough for them to pass through.

Now that they were in the compound of the demon castle, the succubus queen smirked and with a resounding Bam', the door closed, invoking fear in some of them.

Cyrus glanced around, clearly, there was another door leading to the main castle. Right now they were in what seemed to be a town square with carved language on the floor.

"This isn't as bad as I thought", said Flash.

After his words, skeletons began emerging from the ground, all possessing swords, shields, and caveman weapons. Overall, they were some sort of barbarian skeleton with purple glowing eyes.

"Holy shit", yelled Nerdy brain, stepping on the skeleton's hand, which grabbed him from the ground and causing him to wet his pants.

At this point, the skeletons in front of the students had waited long enough for the frightened humans to advance, hence they charged in with speed.

"That's it, I just remembered this place, skeletons. Goblins and giants, I think we should enter the main castle", said Cyrus.

"What!! Have you lost your mind? I'm not entering that thing... I would rather lose my life here than die there", yelled Flash.

As the skeletons were coming in, no one even had the guts to attack. The one thing in common presently was fear and everyone was backing away in fear.

Cyrus looked at the damsel holding his arm and pressing her face against it. He inhaled and exhaled before removing her palm as he stared at the skeleton.

Cy clenched his fist 'If I can kill just one, then they'll get the motivation I'm looking for', thought Cy.

Cy stepped forward, looking at the demons with his sweating palm. "Cy buddy comeback, this isn't one of those games you play in class", said nerd brain.

But Cy didn't listen.

Abruptly, he dashes toward a skeleton and punches it out… but the demon dodges it and connects its knee bone against Cy's stomach. Kweuk', causing our MC to cough out metallic blood.

But Cy didn't just fall on the floor, his hand had covered that region, and the attack wasn't that hurtful. He glanced at the purple glowing eyes of the demon and Bam'

His fist connected with the head of the skeleton that rolled in midair and fell amid the others.

"Woah… They can die?", muttered Flash, smirking and getting the courage he was looking for.

The big guy dashes forward and stretches out his two palms to slam down two skeletons.

"I killed a skeleton", yelled a random student.

"I got to kill this one too"

"I also killed a skeleton."

Now they were putting up a fight. Cyrus was distracted and had no idea when he had been ambushed. A skeleton jumped behind him and slashed its sword.

Cy yelled out in pain as his back was slashed and covered in blood. He gritted his teeth, turning around as he saw the skeleton had dashed forward again, aiming directly for his neck.

His eyes flared in pain when he stared at the horrifying purple-glowing eyes of the skeleton. Was he going to die in a place like this? However,

Bam'

But to Cy's surprise, his damsel came through for him. Aisha came out of nowhere and stopped the demon's sword with hers.

With an abrupt display of resilience, the nerd brain jumped out of nowhere and kicked off the skeleton's head.

"Are you alright?", Aisha's soothing and intoxicating voice resounded in Cy's ears.

He held his bleeding shoulder and gave a nod. He was fine. Now, the population of skeletons was decreasing and almost every time you looked, you'd see a skeleton's bone.

Cy tried standing up but fell to his knees in pain... That's when he felt Aisha's soft palm, the girl had torn her white sleeve and wrapped it around Cy's shoulder carefully.

"This should stop the bleeding for a while"

With all the skeletons dead, the students were rejoicing, that is until the main demon castle gate opened.

This time, they were more than confident and sauntered towards the gate, Aisha and Cy walking at the same speed.

'I might actually have a chance with Aisha', thought Cy, 'Really Cy? You're thinking of dating a girl in times like this', rethought Cy.

The interior part of the castle was as dark as midnight, hence, they couldn't get a good view of what was inside.

"Let me in", said flash as he gripped tight the sword and shield he had gotten from a dead skeleton.

As he stepped foot inside, Voom…! Blue flames etched on the war lit up almost instantly.

The nine students stared at themselves, seeing nothing had happened, nothing happened. Nothing they gradually entered along, it wasn't that broad and also not that narrow, but it was big enough to contain them.

Overall, Cyrus was the only one bleeding in the group, and although he felt pain, he pretended like the cut was nothing.

Just like what happened to the main castle's gate, this door closed itself too once everyone was inside. At this point, they already knew whatever this place was, it just wanted them to go deep and die.

Aisha held Cy's bleeding palm and glanced at him. "We'll be fine…", but in reality, Cy was slowly losing his life from that demon cut. The blade obviously wasn't ordinary.
