Chapter 04.

Walden House .

Ryu followed the burly man in front while observing the man's simple house.

“Sit there and I’m sorry if I only give you water. It’s because I live here alone and I’m staying for a while.” Walden said frankly.

“No problem, also what do you mean by staying a while, sir?” Ryu asked after sitting on the sofa which could be said to be quite comfortable.

Walden himself poured some drinking water into a glass, then he handed it to Ryu . “Yes, this is a house for rent. Besides, if you want to rent, you can rent this place.”

“Oh, I see.” Ryu nodded in understanding, his eyes scanning the surroundings and Walden let it slide, knowing that the young man in front of him was assessing the house before renting it.

“Oh yeah, we haven’t introduced ourselves yet. Let me go first, my name is Walden Samara. Just call me Uncle Walden or Uncle Sam.”

Walden introduced himself and Ryu nodded as he introduced himself. “My name is Ryu Arkan, a student from Artana High School.”

Hearing the name of the youth school in front, his eyebrows immediately furrowed, “You came all the way here, is it okay? Do you know that your school is quite far from this place?”

“I prefer to get out of that place first.” Ryu said with a meaningful smile.

Walden himself noticed the smile so he stopped asking. He knew that Ryu probably ran away because of bullying or something else.

“So, how about you rent this place or another house?” Walden asked regarding Ryu’s business visit .

Ryu scanned the surroundings first and nodded his head. "I'll just rent this place first."

Walden who heard Ryu's statement immediately smiled lightly. "One month 2 million, that includes all the facilities in the house."

Walden tells about the facilities that the house has. He tells each function of some of the objects in the room.

It took thirty minutes for the negotiation to be successful. Ryu himself was grateful for the price being lowered to half of the original price.

Walden waved his hand. “It’s okay, as a sign of our friendship. Also, don’t forget to clean this house because I only occupied it for one day and didn’t clean it all.”

“Yeah, don’t worry. I’ll clean up later.” Ryu smiled when he heard Walden’s words . Just cleaning up wasn’t that hard besides, he received a new Quest .

Seeing the reward, Ryu was naturally happy. However, he thought back to the system. ' This quest appears when there is a request or what?'

Ryu is still confused, but Walden 's goodbye brings him back to his senses.

“I’ll go back first, if you want to buy this house, contact the contact I gave you.” Walden said as he turned towards the door.

“See you and have a nice day.” Walden left the house, while Ryu watched Walden leave before looking around the room.

He walked into each room and found that Walden only occupied one room where there was a new mattress.

Ryu observed and knew that what Walden said was true, that the man had only been there for a day and that was evident by the man's lack of clothing.

Ryu didn't bring anything with him, besides he didn't have anything special in his boarding house so there was no need to go back there.

After Ryu looked around the room, he took a broom and started cleaning the dust in the house.

Cleaning itself does not take a short time, he needs to mop and organize the surrounding area to make it look neat.

It took him almost eight hours to clean the room and just as he sat on the sofa with sweat dripping down his face, the system's voice sounded.

Ryu felt a rush of heat enter his body, he immediately stood up and grinned because he knew that the tiredness from the previous work had disappeared.

Ryu swung a crescent kick and felt that the power this time was quite good compared to before.

“This way, I can defend myself against some small-time thugs.” Ryu muttered under his breath, then he felt hungry and wanted to try out his cooking skills.

Ryu stepped into the kitchen and saw that there were no cooking ingredients so he sighed and muttered, “Looks like I have to buy some groceries to fill this fridge.”

Ryu closed the refrigerator door and he stepped into the bathroom first. It didn't take long for Ryu to come out with a steamy body. Luckily there were white clothes in the room so he didn't wear his previous clothes.

White clothes are given to every renter and home buyer. This is what Ryu knew after reading the previous rental contract.

Coming out of the new house, Ryu walked to the nearest convenience store. The store itself was called Haikan Convenience Store , a store that was no less famous than Liman Convenience Store.

Ryu went inside, then went to buy the food he wanted to cook tonight.

Starting from vegetables, fruit, rice, meat and some existing spices.

Ryu spent a total of 300 thousand just to buy groceries. He carried two large plastic bags out of the Haikan Convenience Store .

“Just make a simple meal, rice and fried meat with a little seasoning to make it delicious.” Ryu mumbled to the meal he was going to make.

Ryu can't make high-class food, he can only make simple food because his cooking skills are only basic cooking.

He had never cooked before so his own experience was still zero.

Just as he was coming home and passing through a slightly deserted street, his eyebrows immediately furrowed because he felt a voice calling for help.

“Help!” A woman’s voice sounded so faint. Ryu immediately stepped to where the voice came from and saw a woman lying on the floor.

There were three figures of thugs with one of the thugs already on top of the woman.

“ Haha , you won’t be able to scream that loud anymore, Miss!” thug 1 said with a lewd grin.

He stretched out his hands and wanted to undress the woman, but before he could grab her clothes, a kick came from the side.

Brak!

Thug 1 was thrown to the side, he fell on the floor while holding his left cheek. “Ahh! It hurts! Who kicked that just now!”

Thug 1 looked at Ryu , the two thugs also followed his partner's gaze.

"Who are you!"
