Without warning, Alex surged forward, unleashing a furious punch directly at Jack's face.
His knuckles collided with a nauseating crack against Jack's jaw, sending him sprawling from the bed.
Jack's manhood slipped abruptly from Olivia, popping free like a cork from a champagne bottle—without the celebration.
“You bastard!” Alex roared, voice shaking with rage.
“You dare lust after my sister and my wife? You dare make videos fantasizing about them? Who the fuck do you think you are? I'll kill you right here!”
He hurled himself onto Jack, pinning him mercilessly against the cold floor, fists raining down with relentless fury, each strike driven by pure, blinding anger.
Jack's face contorted grotesquely under the brutal assault; pain robbed him of even the strength to scream.
Alex could feel his body betraying him, suppressing his true strength, limiting him to less than a fraction of his power—but even this should be enough to finish this scum.
Fueled by sheer rage, he fought against the invisible chains binding his strength, forcing his weakened limbs to strike again and again, determined that this bastard would finally learn his lesson.
“Alex?!” Olivia gasped, pulling the blanket hastily around herself, her eyes wide with terror.
“What the hell—how—what are you doing here?! You’re going to kill him!”
Alex’s gaze turned ice-cold as he glared at her.
“You filthy bitch,” he growled. “You should be grateful I don’t hit women. Sleep around all you want—I couldn’t care less. But you should’ve never schemed with Jack against my wife.”
He pointed a menacing finger at Olivia, his voice deadly calm. “Wait your turn—I’ll deal with you later.”
Without hesitation, he turned back to Jack, each blow landing heavier and colder, determined that justice would be served.
Sensing Alex’s cold aura, Olivia stood frozen, horror clawed at her insides.
The thing she feared the most had happened.
Alex had discovered her guilty affair with Jack.
And he would expose everything.
The affairs. The incest.
Her wedding would fall apart.
Her entire future—gone.
Her heartbeat thudded like a war drum as her eyes darted across the room.
There. The iron lamp holder.
Heavy. Solid. Deadly.
Her hands shook as she grabbed it.
She didn’t want to do this—but she had to mute Alex.
She seized a heavy iron lamp holder.
With trembling hands, she raised it high and brought it crashing down on the back of Alex’s skull.
Alex grunted, stunned. His fury faltered for just an instant, and he slumped to one side.
Jack, tasting freedom, snatched the lamp from Olivia.
“You hit me?” he spat, towering over Alex’s prone form. “If I don’t kill you, I’m not Jack!”
He struck Alex’s head again. Blood began trickling down Alex’s face, staining the floor.
“Remember your place, you worthless leech,” Jack snarled. “My stupid grandfather took you in just so you could suck off Sophia’s generosity!”
He raised the lamp holder again.
“You think you’re something? Hitting me? Hit me back, loser! You think you’re better than me just because Grandpa liked you?!”
Jack hit him again and again, spitting curses with every blow.
“Jack, stop! What if he dies?” Olivia grabbed his arm, trying to pull him away.
“Then let him die,” Jack growled, chest heaving.
But he finally stopped. Alex wasn’t moving anymore.
Breathing raggedly, Olivia whispered, “Jack… what do we do?”
Jack didn’t answer. Instead, he hurled the lamp aside and yanked Olivia toward the bed.
His grip tightened—hard, unrelenting—fingers digging into her flesh like he was staking a claim. Something savage had awakened in Jack.
Violence had flipped a switch, and now he moved like a beast let off its leash.
He felt powerful. Invincible. Like a war god crushing his enemies and taking his spoils.
And Olivia—God help her—was part of it. She felt it too.
She looked at Alex lying broken on the floor, bloodied and unmoving, and something inside her twisted. It should’ve been guilt. It should’ve been fear.
But it wasn’t.
It was heat.
A wicked, pulse-pounding heat that crawled through her belly and clenched between her thighs.
The danger, the rage, the madness—it ignited something primal. She bit her lip, her breath hitching as Jack slammed into her, and her mind blurred between horror and hunger.
They picked up right where they’d been interrupted—only now it was darker, dirtier, charged with blood and betrayal.
Jack moved like he was claiming a throne. Every thrust was punishment.
Every growl in her ear was a declaration. His body roared with arousal, not in spite of the violence—but because of it.
Olivia moaned, lost in the raw, animal rhythm. Her eyes flicked to Alex again—his face still, but his eyes… open. Watching.
Her pulse spiked.
“Jack,” she whispered, panting. “He’s… he’s watching us.”

Names began to be called one by one. Fairchild wasn’t among them yet, but they're also not the companies who won Dupont partnership. Tension built around the table. Ethan’s confident facade tightened slightly—if Fairchild wasn’t called, everyone would know he had done nothing.Minutes passed. Still no Fairchild. Ethan’s smirk faltered ever so slightly, beads of sweat threatening to betray him. But then, the announcer cleared his throat and spoke the final name.“Finally, this year’s partnership with The Dupont goes to… Fairchild Company!”The crowd turned, and it was clear. They've made it. A burst of applause filled the hall and Sophia’s eyes widened.Cara clapped her hands excitedly, almost bouncing in her seat. “See! I knew it! Sir Ethan handled everything perfectly!”The applause died down, but the excitement at the table didn’t. Sophia leaned forward, eyes shining. “Ethan, you did this, right? You really handled everything?”Ethan shrugged, forcing a smooth smile, though inside,

CHAPTER 31Ethan excused himself from Sophia and Cara, muttering that he needed to make a quick call. He stepped aside and dialed his father, keeping his tone smooth.“Father, I need a favor,” he began. “There’s a situation with a friend. They weren’t included in the Dupont selection. I thought maybe—”“Do you fucking hear yourself right now?!” his father exploded in the other line without letting him finish. “Are you seriously trying to play hero again? To what? To impress your woman? For once, think before opening your mouth!”Ethan blinked. He didn't expect that his father will give this kind of reaction.“Do you even understand our place? If it were possible, we would bow to the Duponts for their grace. That’s the level we’re talking about! And you want to help some insignificant family? Do you even see what our family needs right now? You’re thinking like a child, Ethan. Weak-minded. Stupid. Why waste energy on people who can’t even stand on their own?” his father barked.Ethan’s j

Sophia’s breath caught in her throat. For a moment she stood frozen, staring into the mirror. The reflection staring back at her was calm, collected—but inside, it felt like the floor was splitting open beneath her feet. Not on the list. Her lips pressed tight, but her voice cracked anyway. “Are you sure, Cara?”Cara’s hands trembled around her phone. She nodded hard. “Yes. I swear it’s true. A friend of mine was one of the organizers. She said it’s already decided.” Her voice splintered, sharp with anger. “It has to be because of her. Because of Cassandra Dupont, doesn’t it?”Sophia’s chest clenched. Could it really be that simple? Months of work—sleepless nights, endless revisions—swept aside like nothing. All because of Cassandra Dupont?Cara’s mouth twisted with fury. “Or because of earlier? Of course! We didn’t know she was a Dupont. But Alex knew. That bastard knew and said nothing! He stood there and let us look like fools. How low can you sink?”She kept spitting curses, but S

The main hall pulsed with anticipation.Waiters glided between tables, silver trays balanced with crystal glasses and delicate plates, weaving through the hum of chatter and the soft strains of a string quartet in the corner.Everyone in the room knew—the real spectacle hadn’t begun yet.Near the front, Sophia sat stiffly with Ethan and Cara. Her chin was high, her expression calm, but the rapid beat of her heart betrayed her nerves.Ethan leaned in, his voice smooth, confident. “Relax, Sophia. The Dupont representative will be here any moment. When they arrive, I’ll make sure their eyes land on you first.”Cara, eager, added quickly, “That’s right, Ms. Sophia. You’ve prepared better than anyone. Ethan’s eyes narrowed as he tracked Cassandra and Alex disappearing into the crowd. His jaw clenched, though his posture stayed composed, arms folded tight across his chest. “Hmph… she’s beautiful,” he muttered under his breath.“But if she’s with that Alex, she clearly isn’t thinking straight.”Cara’s lips pressed thin, her eyes blazing with venom.“That bitch,” she spat, her voice low and shaking with rage. “How dare she just stroll in here like she owns the place—ugh! I hate her!”Sophia drew a slow breath, steadying the fire in the air. Her gaze locked on both of them, calm yet unyielding.“Enough,” she said firmly. “Forget them.
