Supreme Commander Damian

Chapter 002

"What?" Damian immediately got up from his seat. "Try repeating what you said again!" Damian ordered excitedly.

Jasper quickly did what Damian told him, and Damian smiled slightly, listening to all the explanations from his subordinates.

"Forgive me supreme commander, I just want to make a little suggestion. I just want you to return home as soon as possible because I've gotten reports that since the fire broke out, Madame's life has become very difficult and even your little daughter has become the subject of insults from people around her who are jealous of her daughter's cleverness and cuteness." Jasper looked at Damian slowly, fearing that his commander had misunderstood him.

"What are you saying? So would anyone dare to harm my wife and daughter? I won't let them live in peace." Damian immediately picked up the car keys that lay on the table.

Before the man actually walked out of his room, he looked at Calvin. "Calvin I will be on leave indefinitely, so during this time please take care of everything. Let me know if there's anything important."

Calvin, who was given the task, immediately nodded his head respectfully. "Yes supreme commander, I will do everything well."

Damian nodded his head. Calvin and Jasper compactly greeted Damian respectfully before the man left their headquarters room.

It took Damian three hours to drive to the address where his wife was.

The man dressed in army clothes immediately stepped into the apartment unit that his subordinates claimed as his wife's current residence.

Arriving in front of the apartment, Damian immediately moved quickly when he saw a woman being pushed out of the apartment.

Damian quickly and precisely caught the woman in his arms.

"Who has dared to hurt my wife?" snapped Damian in a cold tone. That's right, the woman who was pushed and whom he had saved was his wife, from whom he had been separated for the past 5 years.

Damian's shout managed to make the woman wearing the yellow scarf flinch.

"How dare you hurt my wife?" Damian said again, while Alice looked shocked to see the face that had disappeared from her life for years, although she also felt that the face was starting to blur in his memory.

Meanwhile, the woman Damian had shouted at began to wake up, and the woman looked at Damian with a disgusted look. "Tsk, who are you to yell at me? You're just a poor soldier, so don't act like an oversleeping hero," Julia retorted in a disgusted tone.

The woman was not afraid of Damian at all because she saw that Damian was only wearing somewhat shabby army clothes, and she also saw that his army boots were also somewhat shabby.

"What right do you have to judge soldiers who have fought for the security of this country? Without us, you wouldn't be able to live comfortably like this!" Damian snorted coldly; the man looked sharply at Julia, who had dared to step on his pride as a soldier.

“Save your lectures and who are you? This woman's husband is dead!” snapped Julia once again, as she knew Alice had been living alone all this time.

“I'm her husband, are your ears not working?” Damian continued to glare at Julia.

While on the other hand, Alice looked shocked. She never expected the fantasy that she had been craving to come true; the husband she had longed for for so long now reappeared in front of her. “Da... Damian?” she murmured, but only Damian heard her words.

“It's not my ears that aren't working, it's you!” Julia's yell brought Alice out of her reverie while Damian gently stroked his wife's shoulder to calm her down because he knew that his sudden departure and arrival must have raised a lot of question marks in his wife's head.

“Where have you been?” asked Alice with tears in her eyes, the longing in her chest now bursting forth.

“I-”

“You guys don't play drama in front of me! I don't want to see the touching drama of a long-separated husband and wife because it's so disgusting!” Julia made both of them realize that she was still there.

“But if you want to continue this disgusting drama, that's fine and I'm quite happy if you are the husband because whether you take this woman away or not, you will have to pay all your wife's arrears over the years!” Julia paused for a moment, looking at the two scornfully.  “But unfortunately, you don't seem to be the one who can pay all of her arrears,” Julia hissed as she threw Alice's suitcase back into the apartment.

Julia's arrogant behavior made Damian's blood boil. The man gave Julia a sharp look that made Julia a little scared.

“Why are you looking at me like that? Do you think I'll be afraid of you?” Julia put both hands on her waist, staring at Alice because she didn't dare to look at Damian directly.

"And you too Alice, your pretty face is a waste if you get a poor man like him." Julia babbled again and looked at Alice with a pitying gaze because she also saw that Alice was very beautiful. "This face of yours can attract rich men, or do you want me to introduce those men to you?" she continued with a mocking laugh at Alice's expense.

Damian clenched his fists. He couldn't bear to see his wife being degraded and abused in front of his eyes.

“How dare you command me?” challenged Julia.

“Call or you-” threatened Damian in a cold tone. In fact, Alice, who was beside Damian, also felt how creepy Damian's tone was now.
