Just then, suppressed laughter comes from a nearby table. Li Chan glances over. Those people were clearly listening to Hao's words and trying to control their laughter.

Dayna listens to her quietly. Then, looking into Liya's eyes, she says in a calm but domineering tone,

"Li Chan isn't poor. You're the one who's blind."

Liya, shocked, says softly,

"What? I… don't understand."

Dayna, locking eyes with her, says in a cold but powerful tone,

"Do you even know who Li Chan is? And if I see you anywhere near him in the future, no one will have it worse than you."

Liya, intimidated by her dominating presence, steps back and stammers,

"No… this… this can't be…"

Her mind seems to freeze. Then she turns to Li Chan and shouts,

"Li Chan! You poor bastard! What were you hiding?! What were you hiding from me?!"

Li Chan, who had been silent until now, listening calmly, finally speaks. Young Master Hao steps forward, placing a hand on Liya's shoulder, and says,

"Babe, calm down. It's nothing like that. This poor guy is just relying on a girl. He's got no status of his own. He can't even afford a single dinner here."

Hearing this, Li Chan breaks his silence. In a calm and steady tone, he says, "What are you trying to say…?"

Young Master Hao snaps back,

"That you're poor. You probably don't even have enough money to cover your friends' dinner."

At that, a confident smile appears on Li Chan's face. He says,

"What if I prove you wrong…?"

Young Master Hao laughs,

"How?"

Just then, Li Chan steps forward toward the bill counter. Everyone watches him, wondering what he's about to do.

On the other side, Li Chan pulls out his black card… and swipes it on the machine.

A moment of silence falls over the room.

Then, a ding sound comes from the machine 1 million yen transaction successful.

Seeing this, Li Chan's friends, Liya, and Hao are all sweating in shock. Liya, staring at Li Chan in disbelief, says, "But… you were poor… weren't you?"

Li Chan walks past her, looking into her eyes, and says, "What you see… isn't always the truth."

Then he walks over to Dayna, puts his arm around her waist. Dayna blushes slightly.

Hao puts Liya in the car, and they drive off.

Li chuckles lightly, as if he's already forgiven her. "No big deal," he says with a slight shrug.

"Besides, investing 1 million to earn 20 million… that's a pretty good deal."

A confident businessman's smile spreads across his face.

At that moment, something flashes in his mind.

He glances to the side, where his three friends are staring at him in complete shock and silence as if someone had dropped a bomb on their minds. It was all too much for them to process.

Li Chan understands their state. He chuckles lightly and says,

"I'll explain everything properly when we get home. For now, let's just enjoy dinner."

Hearing this, the three of them make strange faces and nod, "Yeah… okay…"

Then Li Chan gives a calm, confident smile.

But… the story doesn't end here.

On the other side, a man, about 35-40 years old, looking very wealthy and classy, is quietly sitting at a corner table. His eyes are fixed on one thing Li Chan's black card.

As Li Chan puts his card back in his pocket, it flips slightly, and for a brief moment, a dragon emblem on it is visible.

Just that one glimpse…

The man, who was struggling to eat, chokes on his food. His companion quickly hands him water.

At that moment, Li Chan turns to look in their direction and understands the situation. But he says nothing, just silently glances at the stranger before turning back.
