A shining black luxury Rolls-Royce car stops at the entrance of a 5-star hotel. A well-suited bodyguard steps forward immediately and respectfully opens the car door.

Emerging from the car with sharp confidence is Li Chan, accompanied by a charming and composed young man, Young Master Kuro.

Li Chan looks at the hotel's entrance and building with astonishment the marble floor, grand chandeliers, and the hotel's facade resemble a royal castle.

From behind, Kuro says with a slight smile,

"This is the Ryujin Hotel… one of Japan's finest and most exclusive hotels."

Li Chan hesitates slightly and says,

"A dinner here for one night must cost 50,000–100,000 yen…"

Kuro chuckles softly and replies,

"Even more than that."

"Let's go inside," Kuro says, and the two walk in. The hotel's interior is as regal and elegant as a medieval Japanese castle. The lobby features mahogany furniture, golden ceiling lights, and attendants dressed in kimonos.

They head toward the elevator and press the button for the 5th floor. Standing in the elevator, Li Chan thinks to himself:

"I have 48.9 million yen right now… I need to use this money wisely… I can't waste it on luxury."

The elevator dings and stops, and they step out. Kuro points toward a royal golden-plated door and says:

"This is Room No. 69… our room."

Then, with a smile, Kuro says to Li,

"Young Master Li Chan, you go first."

Li, slightly shocked, says,

"Me?"

Kuro laughs and replies,

"Yes, of course you."

Li nods slowly and, as he walks in, thinks to himself:

"Maybe all of Kyoto's biggest business tycoons are waiting for me…"

Inside, the room's interior is jaw-dropping—velvet sofas, golden drapes, a giant chandelier, and rare Japanese wine bottles on the centre table. In one corner of the room sits a young woman, around 20 years old, with black hair, emerald green eyes, and dressed in a green silk dress, looking like a royal princess.

Li Chan looks at her and thinks to himself:

"Is this girl a tycoon too?"

Just then, a system notification dings:

[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION]

New Beauty Triggered!

Name: Mei

Looks: 89 Points

Business: Real estate new entrant, currently no major projects

Background: Father is the owner of Kanazaki Tech, with 1–5 billion yen annual revenue.

Trust Reward: If trust reaches 100%, the host will receive 1 billion yen.

Reading this, Li Chan breaks into a sweat and thinks:

"1 billion yen!?"

A voice calls out to him. Snapping back to reality, Li says,

"Yes?"

He sees Kai looking at him, gesturing toward four middle-aged businessmen.

Li, surprised, asks,

"This is all fine… but why did you call me here?"

Kai smiles and says,

"Brother Li, now that you're stepping into the world, you'll naturally enter the business world too."

Li thinks to himself:

"He's right… I can't waste the money I got from the system… I have to use it for business."

Then, looking at Kai, he says,

"Yes, I'm about to start."

At that moment, one of the businessmen steps forward.

"Young Master Li Chan, I'm Ten Hao, chairman of the Song Hao Group. My company deals in real estate property buying and selling. If you ever need to buy or sell property, please come to us."

Hearing the name, Li Chan is taken aback:

"Song Hao Group!? Isn't that the group of that bastard Hao?"

Then Li says to Ten Hao,

"Uncle, I want to buy a villa. It's Thursday today, so I'll come to your office on Saturday."

Kai laughs and says,

"Hao, your luck has just turned!"

Li Chan then approaches Mei and says,

"Hey, Miss, what business do you handle?"

Mei, slightly hesitant, replies,

"Young Master, I handle a small-scale real estate business… but today, I'm here to represent my father's company, Kanazaki Tech."

Li Chan, surprised, asks,

"But why?"

Mei explains,

"My business is still small… we don't get big projects. The entire real estate industry is dominated by established companies…"

Li Chan thinks for a moment and says,

"I need a building… to start my business. Miss, would you like to handle my project?"

Mei, shocked, exclaims,

"Young Master… are you serious!?"

In the corner of the room, the other tycoons grit their teeth and whisper to each other,

"If only we were women…"

Kai, laughing, says to Mei,

"Your luck has just turned you get to work with the Young Master!"

Li Chan then turns to Ten Hao and says,

"Uncle Hao, I'll come to your office on Saturday to buy a villa and a plot of land… for a business building."

Ten Hao thinks to himself:

"Is this really such a big deal… If I handle this well, I could get close to the Young Master."

Li Chan then looks at Mei and says,

"Mei, I'd like you to come with me to see the properties… you'll be able to decide which land is suitable for the business building."

Mei, overjoyed, says,

"Yes, absolutely!"

She thinks to herself:

"This is a golden opportunity for me… If I handle this project successfully, I'll gain even more benefits in the future."

A little later…

As Li Chan leaves the hotel, he thinks:

"Kuro said we'd go look at cars… but I only have 48.9 million yen right now. I can't waste all my money on a car. After giving Mei this project, her trust should increase a bit…"

He hails a taxi and gets in.

"Uncle, take me to Hoshigawa University's boys' hostel," he tells the driver.

"Alright, son," the driver replies, and the car starts moving.

Li Chan sits by the window, lost in thought… when suddenly, the system dings again:

[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION]

Outstanding Beauty detected within 100 meters!

Li Chan, startled, looks out the window. His eyes fall on two men in black dresses with their faces covered by masks.

They are dragging an unconscious girl out of a car.

Li Chan's eyes widen in shock.

"Those guys… with that girl!?"

"Uncle, stop!" Li shouts.

The driver asks,

"What happened, son?"

But Li doesn't respond and jumps out of the taxi, running toward them.

The driver shouts from behind,

"Hey, you! Pay the fare first!"

Hearing the noise, the two men turn around and see Li Chan charging toward them at full speed. In a panic, they throw the girl into the river under a bridge… and quickly escape in a nearby Mercedes.

Li Chan first looks at them… then, without thinking, jumps into the river!

Water splashes into the air.

Li Chan holds his breath, swimming underwater, moving his arms and legs…

His hand brushes against another hand…

The water is murky, but he can tell it's the same girl.

He pulls her and swims toward the shore.

At the riverbank…

Li Chan is panting, exhausted… his breathing heavy.

The girl slowly regains consciousness, holding her head:

"Where… am I…?"

Li Chan turns to look at her… and for a moment, his breath stops.

She looks like a fairy with blue hair, blue eyes, pink lips, her wet clothes clinging to her body, her hair dishevelled…

Just then, the system dings again:

[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION]
