Canine flicked his dragon wings, trying to dispel the small flames thrown by the man in blue. But Canine was only more surprised when instead of being extinguished, the black sparks engulfed his broad wings, which were still in dragon form.

Canine forced himself to fly away from the room, passing through the hall's wide-open doors. Canine wondered if there would be some kind of lake out there that could help him extinguish the heavenly flames burning a quarter of his wingspan.

Canine glanced in horror at how half of his left wing had turned to dust, and he accelerated his flight even more to avoid the man in blue.

When Canine was at a loss to find a water source or something to extinguish the Black Flame that had spread and had now consumed half of the dragon's wing.
