In the Training Ground, Lu Chen did not teach them how to use magic. Instead, he taught them the secrets of the Void.

He showed them that they didn't need big, flashy explosions to win. He taught them how to move silently and strike when the enemy didn't expect it.

In the old sects, everyone fought to be the best.

In Lu Chen’s sect, the students worked together. Two weak people fighting as one were stronger than one strong master.

For those with a broken spirit root, Lu Chen showed them how to pull energy from the earth and the air around them, rather than from inside their bodies.

At first, in the training ground, the students stumbled. A young boy named Xiao dropped his wooden sword crying "I can't do it, I am just a beggar."

“Yesterday, you were a beggar. Today, you are a seed. Tomorrow, you will be in a forest." Lu Chen walked over and picked up the wooden sword. He handed it back to the boy.

After months of training, the change was clear. The people who used to walk with their heads down now stood tall. Their eyes were no longer dull; they were sharp and bright.

One afternoon, a group of bandits tried to raid the valley, thinking that the weak people would be easy targets.

Lu Chen didn't step in to help them. He was watching them from afar.

Xiao and the other students didn't run. They move around surrounding the bandits. They used the black mist of the valley to hide and quick, simple strikes to disarm the thieves. Within some minutes, the bandits dropped their weapons and ran away in terror.

The students cheered. They looked at their hands, shocked by their own power.

Lu Chen was watching them with a proud smile. He knew the High Heavens might come back one day to try and reclaim the world. But now, he wouldn't be fighting alone. He had turned the weak of the world into an army that no one could ignore.

The Void God Sect was no longer just a group of survivors. It was a force of nature and groups of army ready to fight.

The peace in the valley did not last long. The "Celestial Rulers" of the other eight heavens had seen what Lu Chen was doing. They didn't like that "trash" were learning to fight. They sent messengers on golden birds, demanding that Lu Chen should close his school and return to being a slave.

Lu Chen didn't send a letter back. He picked up his Void-Severing Dagger and looked at his students.

Lu Chen said, "They think they own the sky, It is time to show them that the sky belongs to everyone."

He moved quickly like a shadow through the clouds, passing from the Second Heaven all the way to the Ninth.

In the high palaces, the rulers were feasting. They sat on chairs made of clouds and they were drinking expensive wine.

They laughed about the peasant (Lu Chen) who thought he was a teacher.

Suddenly, the candles in the room flickered and died off. The air turned cold.

"Who is there?" one of the rulers shouted, spilling his wine.

Lu Chen stepped out of the darkness in front of them. He didn't look like a god; he looked like a common worker who had come to collect a debt.

Lu Chen whispering "The class is in session,".

No one dared to reply because it took them unaware.

The rulers tried to fight. They threw lightning and shouted magic words. But Lu Chen had spent months teaching his students how to fight perfection. He knew exactly where the rulers were weak.

No Mercy for Cruelty: He found the Ruler of the Fourth Heaven, who had burned forests for fun. With one quick move, Lu Chen ended his reign.

Ending the Greed: He found the Ruler of the Seventh Heaven, who had blocked all the water from the farmers below. Lu Chen did not argue. He simply let the Void swallow the ruler's golden heart.

One by one, the corrupt leaders fell. And the battle was like a gardener pulling weeds in the garden. Lu Chen moved through the palaces with a calm, steady pace. He wasn't angry anymore—he was just finishing a chore.

"You can't do this!" the last ruler screamed, trembling behind his throne. "We are the chosen ones!"

Lu Chen replied."You chose yourselves, no one chose you, Now, the world chooses someone else."

The dagger flashed, and the last of the old light went out.

The next day, the golden palaces were empty. The thrones and their crowns were there, Lu Chen moved back down the clouds, returning to the Black Mist Valley.

His students were waiting for him. seeing him coming and they were happy, but Lu Chen headed straight to his small wooden hut.

"Is it done?" “Is the battle over?” Xiao asked, running up to him.

Lu Chen nodded and sat down on a simple wooden bench. He picked up a broom and started sweeping the dirt from his porch.

"The sky is clear now," Lu Chen said. "Go back to your practice. We have a lot of work to do on the garden today."

The Nine Heavens were finally calmed. There were no more masters, and there were no more slaves. There was just the wind, the earth, and a group of people learning how to be free.

The sky above the Black Mist Valley turned a harsh, blinding gold. The High Heaven Emperors—the brothers and cousins of the man Lu Chen had defeated—had finally come down. They brought thousands of .

The golden soldiers flew down like falling stars. They looked perfect and unstoppable. When Lu Chen saw them coming. He shouted

"Remember your training! They fight for a throne. You fight for your home!"

The battle wasn't what the Emperors expected.

When the golden soldiers landed, the outcasts didn't charge. They vanished into the black mist Lu Chen had taught them to control.

They felt a deep, sudden fear taking over the environment. Lu Chen stopped in front of Zhao, who was still lying in the mud. He looked down at him with dark eyes and said. "You look at these people and you still call them peasants, You look at this dirt and you see a prison."Lin tried to stand to keep some of his old pride. He said coldly. "We are high officials, Lu Chen! You use fear to control us, but the heavens will bear witness to this thing you are doing! True power belongs to the royal throne, not to a rebel hiding in a valley!" Lu Chen simply took one step forward. In that exact moment, the world went completely silent for them. The sound of the rain disappeared. The wind stopped blowing. The three Ministers gasped as a massive weight suddenly crashed onto their shoulders. It f

The damage in the Akuru kingdom was serious, but here, in this small valley, the soil was finally turning into good. The next morning, before the sunlight could even come out, Vane stood in front of the small wooden shed where the three new Ministers had spent their night. He pushed the door open. Lin, Zhao, and Kael were huddled together on a bed of dry straw, shivering. Their expensive silk robes were ruined, stained with grease and mud.Vane said softly. "Wake up brothers, The sun is coming out. We have work to do."Lin opened his eyes and groaned. "My back… ooo…w it feels like it is broken from sleeping on this floor. Vane, please. Lu Chen turned his gaze toward the distant towers of the Akuru kingdom’s palace. The golden roofs gleamed in the sunlight, looking beautiful from afar, but he knew the rot inside was growing.Lu Chen said, "They think Vane is still one of them. They also believe their secrets are safe, Tomorrow, we will return to the city. But tonight, we make sure these people are safe. The weeds in the garden are many, Mei. We have only pulled the first one."Down in the valley, the sound of Vane’s shovel hitting the dirt continued. It was slow and clumsy. For the first time in the history of the Akuru kingdom, a High Minister was finally serving his people. As weeks passed into months, the temporary tents of the camp were gone, and the valley was transforming into a permanent village. Lu Chen had decreed that these people would not return to the crowded slums of the city; they would have their own land, their own farms, and real homes built for them. And Lord Vane was the one carrying the logs.

His hands bled from the rough metal, and his knees scraped against the dirt. With every keylock he opened, the weight of his cries seemed to crush him a little more. He had to face the hollow he had caused the children he had sold, and to hear the soft, heartbreaking sobs of fathers who had lost everything.By the time the last cage was opened, hundreds of freed people stood in the valley. They were weak, hungry, and tired, but for the first time in months, their eyes held a glimmer of hope.Lu Chen stepped out of the darkness. He had followed them from a distance, makin

Mei held out a stack of scrolls she had snatched from a desk in the royal study. "It wasn't just the King, Master. It was the Ministers. The 'Great Council.' They were signing orders to kidnap people from the streets to enrich their pockets. They were not only killing the weak—they were selling them to the mines in the South as slaves." Lu Chen took a scroll. His grip turned the edges of the paper black. The names on the list were the "respected" politicians of the Akuru kingdom. These were the men who gave speeches about "order" and "prosperity" while their guards were snatching children in the night. They were making money out of it.Lu Chen said, "They think that because the King is dead, they can hide in their villas, and the law is a shield they can hide behind." He walked to the palace balcony, looking out over the city. Below, the wealthy districts were dark. The politicians were likely burning their own records, packing their gold, and preparing to flee before the "peas

They are hunting those who cannot cultivate—the 'weak'—and using them as human shields to test new formations. They are erasing people to make their maps look cleaner." Xiao gripped his sword hilt so hard his knuckles turned white. "He treats humans like weeds.""No," Lu Chen corrected him, with a terrifying smile appearing on his face. "He treats them like trash. And trash is meant to be burned not to live." Lu Chen raised his hand toward the sky. The clouds above the valley began to swirl into a massive, dark vortex. The wind picked up, howling through the trees like a dying beast."The King thinks gold buys silence. He thinks land buys loyalty," Lu Chen growled. "Tonight, we stop being gardeners. We will become the storm that uproots the throne." The ground began to vibrate. A low, sound thumping came from deep beneath the earth—the heartbeat of the Second Heaven responding to Lu Chen’s rage. He looked at his disciples. They were no longer the frightened children he had foun
