10: BATT9N OF VENGEANCE

Alex hid in a small compartment as he heard the footsteps of his uncle. He was terrified, and he knew that his uncles were going to kill his grandma. There was no other way than to tell his mother. Paul stares his eyes into the toy room, darting his eyes to and fro along with his gun to check if anyone is there. He screw a silencer into his gun and aimed his gun at the compartment, pulling the muzzle while righting his finger on the trigger.

"Paul hurry," he hears Ha yeon called

It was quiet, so he rushed out towards the office door leading to the hallway. Alex opened the door slightly and could hear his uncle's voice in the hallway.

"Magdalene has fallen down the stairs. I told you she was paralyzed and wouldn't be able to do anything," Simeon exclaimed

"Good! Good! That bitch witch has gotten her punishment. If only she would just make our plan easy and die." Ha, Yeon turned her eyes.

"What do we do now, Kingston? since we have started the plan? There is no turning back now. What if she wakes up?" Paul panicked.

"Calm down, paul! First, you create an alibi. We all have to say the same thing in case of any interrogation by top police," Kingston said in a silent tone.

"As for police alibi and media, I will take care of it as planned.".

"Okay, then I will manipulate medical autopsy results and others," Simeon cuts in

"We should leave through the other stairs and join the crowd. I will check Magdalene's pulse and take her to the hospital. I will diagnose her, and the rest of her death will follow." Simeon added,

"Good! Job, let's go with that. Let's hurry. " Ha Yeon was encouraged as she moved forward.

Alex watched as the four of them rushed through the back stairs down to the main hallway leading to the party. Alex walked out, gritting his teeth and folding his hand into a fist.

"I must tell Mother; I can't let them kill her. I have to save Grandma," he ran with all his might through the hallway. He walked out into the open, looking down the stairs at the crowded people. He was breathing heavily as he saw Simeon weaving through the crowd of commotion.

Swiftly, Ha Yeon and the two brothers watched, timed themselves, and rushed out into the commotion.

"What's going on?" Simeon shouted

Everyone in the hall knew that Simeon was indeed a skilled doctor, so they made way for him through the crowd. Quickly, Simon falls to his knees to check for her pulse.

"She is in a coma with cardiac arrest. We have to take her to my medical center now," shouted.

Alex rushed down the stairs, rushing towards his mother.

Marylyn was crying, and Alex's father comforted her. In a few minutes, an ambulance arrived at the premises. Swiftly, first aid was carried out by Simeon in front of the guest. They rush Magdalene into the medical van. Marylyn boarded the medical van beside her mother. Alex tried to follow the van, but he was held back.

The siren blares as the van leaves the estate, Alex rushes to go tell his father, but he is shocked when he sees his father shaking hands with his uncle.

"The plan is in motion. We can leave everything in the hands of Simeon." Paul and Peter Walker laughed as they clinked a cup of wine

"You get ready. It's your turn now to activate the plan with Marylyn." Alex's eyes widened in confusion as the four of them were in celebration mode, as if they were celebrating a World Cup.

"Does Father know about this too?" Alex's heart sank, heartbroken and confused. "But why? Why would he do this?"

Many guests mounted their vehicles as they followed behind the van. Some guests with company shares were hanging on Magdalene as the chair lady followed in their various vehicles with great concern and worry, while some guests who wanted Magdalene dead followed and guests who meant well drove on the road.

"Alex, come with us," a voice sounded. Tracing the voice of a beautiful woman inside a red car, he discovered that it was Lucky's mother, assistant manager at the fashion primal. Swiftly, Alex rushed towards the vehicle.

"Madam Catherine. Please hurry to the hospital," Alex cried out.

"You don't even need to tell me that. I know, and now hurry." The tires of the red car scream on the ground as it moves swiftly through the estate, making its way to the medical complex.

"I must meet with my mother and tell her about it. We must save Grandma.".

The medical van arrives at the medical complex along with several cars. Several doctors and nurses stationed outside rush swiftly to the van. Magdalene is lifted onto a medical bed and pushed by the nurses, while Simeon is on top of Magdalene's body, using his hand to press her chest.

"Doctor Simeon, according to your orders, we need to take her to the surgical room right now, "panicked a resident doctor.

"Nope! Take her to the VIP room and prepare for surgery." The doctors looked at each other, confused. They rolled Magdalene into the VIP room. Doctors and nurses swiftly moved to and fro as the medical complex was in a state of panic and rowdiness.

Vehicles began to arrive swiftly at the scene, and the news broke out and the number one public news channel, CCN, broadcasts the news.

Catherine's vehicle arrives at the medical complex, and Alex jumps down instantly and rushes towards the crowd. Several nurses and doctors try to stop people from entering the door leading to the hall that leads to the VIP room.

Alex rushed to his mother and tapped her, but she was too confused to pay attention to Alex. After all, her mother was the most important personality, not just to her life but to others in the company that will keep the bridge between her brothers and her.

Alex tries to reach her, but she tells assistant Catherine to look after him while she tries to force her way through. Alex, wondering how to break through the crowd, when he saw Simeon walk into the hall holding the syringe that contained the poison he spoke about.

Alex panicked and gritted his teeth. he wondered what he could do. He sees a surgical table with a white cloth spread from the top down to the bottom, rolled in that direction by a nurse. He runs and hides under the table, and a nurse pushes the surgical table and passes through the security, blocking the glassy door. The table came to a halt, and the nurse moved into one of the VIP rooms. He jumps down and begins to bolt down the hallway.

He searched every door, looking for his grandma's mother, but couldn't find the door. Tears flow down his eyes as he mounts his hands over his head in confusion as he searches from one door to another.

When he came to a stop in front of a door, he heard Simeon voice talking to his grandma about how she was going to die. He covers his mouth in panic, his body quivering in fear. He walks slowly to the door and slides the door a little, and he sees Simeon lavished with a devilish smile as he injects the syringe with poison into Magdalene's vein. He falls to the ground in shock, tears in his eyes.

"See you in hell, Madam Magdalene. Look clearly through the window, for this is the last time you will see it. The world and the sky." Alex watched the spring needle inject the deadly serum into his grandma's body. He screamed, but swiftly, he covered his mouth with both hands. Tears flowed down his eyes.

"Who is there?" Simeon shouted as his eyes darted towards the door. He quickly hid the syringe in his pocket and walked fast towards the door. He slides the door into the hallway. No one was there. He looked to and fro, then walked out the door, sliding the door behind him.

"I am sure I felt the presence of someone here," he said, looking to and fro. He walked, heading for the next VIP door. Alex bows his head to a Chinese VIP patient with tears in his eyes in the next room.

The Asian man was shocked when Alex swiftly rushed towards any available door. The patient looked at him at a glance, a scared little boy in tears. He knew something was up, so he lifted his finger in his mouth, said "Shush," and told him to hide in a restroom. The door opened, and Simeon walked in, looking to and fro.

He sees the patient reading a book.

"Even if you are my doctor, I think you should learn to knock before entering my VIP room. After all, I paid much more not to be disturbed," said the man as he stared dangerously at Simeon.

"Oh, I am sorry! Mr. Po Pan Chow. I was just wondering how you were feeling today, and I thought of checking on you," replied Simeon.

"I am fine, as you can see. Thank you for your concern. I need some time alone to focus on this proposal," Chow replied.

"Oh, no problem. Let you be, " Simeon replied as he looked around, and it seemed everything looked normal. With that understanding, he walked out.

"Young lad! He is gone. It's going to be alright," said Mr. Chow. Alex looks at the Chinese man with white hair. Alex finished his greeting and then walked to the next room, where his grandmother lay.

The giant widow illuminated light filtering on Magdalene on top of the bed. She was looking out the window as she prepared herself for death. Alex walked to her, and she was surprised to see Alex. Tears streamed through her eyes, as well as Alex's eye. she forced herself to speak.

"Alex, my grandson... "She lifts her hand slowly. Though pain raced through her body, she lifted it anyway, reaching towards him.

"My lovely, handsome grandson, I give you my blessing. I will be gone soon. I want you to protect your mother. Stay by her side at all costs. I know it's going to get harder from now on, but you must stay strong. In a time of great distress, a man named Hidden would reach out to you. Write this down. The passcode is in Revelation 12:7. Alex brings his pad and writes it down.

She picks up a knife and tears a part of her arm, and from her blood, she brings out a glowing mana orb while enchanting a powerful spell. Alex washes the orb in the sink as per her instructions and returns it to her, giving her the orb.

"Alex swallowed the orb," she said. The orb was small, round, and smooth. Alex swallowed the orbs, smiled, and she said, "It is my vengeance gift to you and always remember, I love you, my my grandson""

"Please grandma, don't die" Alex's eyes and face were covered in tears holding her hand; however, she passed on with a wide smile on her face, looking at Alex.

Tears thundered in Alex's eyes as she gave up the ghost. After crying for several minutes, Alex heard the thundering of footsteps walking towards the door. This voice was familiar to him. They were the culprits who killed his grandma. Red black energy swirls from the mana orb through his body. He turned his head in the direction of the door with his eyes filled with tears, and the door slid to the left. Alex's brown eyes began to gleam in golden glow energy while staring at the door.

Alex wakes up in the dungeon, " I will kill them all" Alex looking at the red system in front of him. He pressed the accepte button.
