Kabbus was in shock, everything seemed like a dream to him. When he saw the first notification, he thought he was starting to gain his powers as an angel back but what was this?
His face turned pale as he was in utter disbelief but the scream of the boy woke him up and he tried to act. He wasn't in his right mind but one thing he knew was that people mustn't see him at that moment or he might get killed as a monster. He turned to look at Tiana and thankfully, she was asleep. To his surprise, she had a very big smile on her face even after what he did to her and that made Kabbus wonder what kind of person she was but more than that, he knew he had to get out of the room.He turned around to look at the crying boy only to find out he had collapsed and a loud grunt escaped from his mouth. He took a few steps forward toward the boy and he saw that he wasn't responding. Having confirmed that, Kabbus escaped from the room and made his way home with red eyes... He was in a big mess."Louis, the doctor said you are fine. It was just a shock from waking up after getting hit that way." He heard Wendy's voice coming from his front but he was too lost to think about her.He continued running, hoping to escape from everyone but he was soon grabbed by a hand and was stopped on his track. He raised his head to see who it was only to find out that it was his earthly mother, Wendy. "Where are you running to? You shouldn't be running that way after what happened to you, ain't you scared that the plaster at the back of your head and the one on your forehead will be removed?" She asked with great concern on her face.Kabbus forced himself out of Wendy's grip and looked at her. "Was I injured?" He questioned with confusion on his face. He hadn't felt any pain in the back or front of his head since he woke up so was he really injured?Wendy laughed softly "You are still in shock, my baby. The doctor said you will soon be alright."Kabbus touched the back of his head, still in confusion and right there, he could feel something attached to his hair but what surprised him was that even though he was pressing on it so hard, he wasn't feeling any pain. It was like...He quickly shook his head and touched the front of his head too, He pressed on it, expecting it to be painful but it was the same. He wasn't feeling any pain.... it was as if the wounds were already healed! His face turned pale again and his eyes turned redder. He felt something rolling down his face and when he touched it, he realized it was water. "I'm crying again? Damn this human body!" He cried out as he fell to the ground.Once again, Kabbus was devastated and he cursed Orilas for doing this to him."Why? Why are you crying, Louis? Are you feeling any pain? Are you hungry again? What's wrong with you?" Wendy panicked as she moved closer to him but Kabbus pushed him away, stood up and ran away from the school premises. The journey home was far and he wouldn't have loved to run all through on a normal day but it wasn't a normal day to him. It was as if it was another death of him and he was bitterly mourning that as he made his way home.Getting home, he saw his father outside the house, preparing for work as he was cleaning his shoes but Kabbus didn't say any word of greeting before walking past him."Louis, are you okay? Your mother said you were injured earlier, do you feel better now?" Lucas, his earthly father questioned worriedly.Kabbus turned to look at him and shook his head "I don't feel alright. I don't feel good at all." He replied. He wished he could ignore Lucas and walk away but his humane part still rested Lucas a lot, making it difficult for him to disrespect him."Why? Are the wounds painful? Were you very injured?" Lucas panicked.Kabbus stared at Lucas for a while before he turned around and walked into the house without replying to him. He entered his room and locked the door on himself as he didn't want anyone to disturb him. He knew Wendy and Lucas would want to talk to him but he wasn't in the mood to talk to him as he had a lot on his mind.He was still on this thought when he started hearing screams from outside but he couldn't care less. "The kids must be back from school again." He mumbled to himself, ignoring the screams.Soon, Little Kabbus felt his eyes closing and before he knew it, he slept off. Waking up after a few hours, he realized they were still screaming outside and he frowned. He stood up from his bed and walked toward the door "These earthly people are so annoying. They wouldn't stop making noise no matter what!" He lamented as he opened the door and stepped out of the house but the scene in front of him shocked him.Kabbus stepped out to meet hundreds of dead bodies in front of his house and all around him were countless dead bodies!

CHAPTER 30: FIRST FIGHT WITH A CULTIVATOR
Fred couldn't believe his ears as he looked at Kabbus. His curled-up body straightened up, and he turned around, seemingly searching for who Kabbus was talking to. "Are you talking to me?" He asked with confusion on his face. Kabbus frowned, he couldn't help but wonder if something was wrong with Fred. "Martins, how much did you beat him? He doesn't seem to be alright," He whispered, looking at Martins, whose gaze was still on him. Martins' eyes twitched and he smiled, "He's just too weak. A single punch was all it took for him to lose his mind," He replied, his voice filled with mockery. Fred gritted his teeth; no matter how low the boys' voices were, he was still able to hear them, and that annoyed him to the core. "Hey, Punk. Who do you think you are?!" He yelled. "Martins could be proud, taking into consideration his strength but you? You are only in the 5th stage of the body-strengthening realm and you think you can talk in front of me? Ain't you being too cocky?" Fred mocked
CHAPTER 29: INTERFERENCE
Kabbus took the lesson seriously, his hands kept moving smoothly. His face was as calm as a lake, sweat dripping, and even his eye lashes were wet, but that still didn't stop him. "He's done it a thousand times already. What's he doing?" Lith asked, not understanding what was going on. They were all shocked when they saw the way Kabbus practiced swiftly. Although basic styles weren't hard to learn, it was not completely easy either, so seeing Kabbus learn it within a few hours was quite surprising. Especially when most of them spent a month to perfect it!He really made them feel ashamed of themselves but then again, what was he still doing?"Isn't he tired?" Athos also asked. "I don't think so," Martins had an amusing smile on his face as he replied. "He's trying to break through to the late stage. I mean, he wants to perfect it to the max," He explained and the rest gasped. Lith shook his head as he gawked, "Per... perfect it? Has he gone nuts? Why would he waste his time on suc
CHAPTER 28: TRAINING
Kabbus stood at the door, staring at nothing but he seemed very focused. If anyone saw him, they would think he was just calmly gazing at space but he was the only one that knew he was actually checking his stat. Title: Half VampireLevel: 16Power: 10%New title: **** (Slumber)What shocked Kabbus wasn't only the new title he got but also something else that lingered on his stat, giving him a mysterious feeling. "What's this?" He couldn't help but ask. He raised his hand and tapped on the word Slumber but it only brought out error, confusing him more. 'Why am I half vampire again? I'm supposed to be a full one, why does it look like I went back to the beginning? If that's the case, then what's these powers I feel in me? I feel a lot stronger than before and my stats are in thousands too. Kabbus was very confused, he had no idea what was going on with him and for the first time since he found out he was a vampire, he wished he had someone to put him through. Being a vampire was al
CHAPTER 27: EVOLUTION!
"Why did you guys decide to buy such a useless sword?" Lith was surprised. He clearly heard the shop owner explain to them that the sword was useless but Martins and Kabbus still decided to buy it. Especially Kabbus who had been staring at the sword since they left the shop as if it was a treasure he couldn't afford to part with. "I can unsheate it," Kabbus replied without moving his eyes from the sword. The boys were surprised, except Martins who had a small smile on his face. "I saw you unsheathed it earlier." He said out loud. Only then did Kabbus raise his head. He looked at Martins and gave a slight nod before he returned his attention to the sword. "Can you show me?" Lith asked excitedly. A sword that had never left its scabbard for years finally came out when it got to Kabbus's hands, Lith was beyond stunned! Kabbus was about to reply when Martins suddenly came to a stop and held his hand, stopping him too. "Let's get the ring here. It's cheaper than the Sect
CHAPTER 26: ICE SWORD
Kabbus felt refreshed immediately and he quickly stood up. He looked at the boys who had gotten to him and let out a deep breath. "Can we be fast here? There's something I need to do soon." He muttered. "What's that?' Lith asked. Kabbus looked into his eyes "Evolve," He said simply. Lith's eyes widened and he chuckled. "You could have just said it's a secret," He mumbled and rolled his eyes. Kabbus shook his head but didn't say a word. He already told the truth so it was only left for the boys to believe him. He wasn't planning to hide his vampire side from the guys but he wouldn't show them either... He left it to them to find out themselves and they could do whatever they wanted then. Kabbus never believed he was evil just because he was a vampire and even if Vampires were evil, he planned never to do evil. Except for taking his revenge and trampling the ones who bullied him under his feet, the ones he wouldn't forgive would be his enemies. He wouldn't hurt the innocents and he

Kabbus moved forward "I will deal with this." He suggested and though the group seemed hesitant, they let him go. Star 5 beast wasn't something a Rank 4 body Strengthening stage cultivator could go against alone. But he wasn't just a cultivator, he was also a vampire!Kabbus knew his Vampire level was almost the same as his cultivator level, If not higher. This meant he was about two times stronger than a normal Rank 4 body-strengthening stage Cultivator and he could even rival a Rank 5 martial Master! He moved closer to the beast who was staring
