"Do you actually think that's nice advice to tell everyone? Humiliating Meg in front of everyone?" Khaled showed up. Liam just cleared his throat.

"Khaled, I didn't know you were here also. Meg? I didn't humiliate her." he said.

Khaled just scoffed and shook his head.

"Come on, Liam. We both know you were talking about her. You knew the reason why she cheated on you, but you don't have the right to tell that to everyone like you didn't even love her." he said.

Liam just sighed.

"You know what, I don't want to argue with someone right now, okay? I came here because I got an award and to socialize with people, and not to argue with you." Liam firmly said.

Khaled was mocked. He wanted to hit Liam right now.

"Khaled, stop it, we are at the party. I bet you don't want to humiliate your dad." Megan arrived.

Liam just smirked and sighed.

"You should listen to your girlfriend." Liam said.

"Stop it, Liam. You are just making the situation more bolder." Megan told him.

Liam just scoffed and sipped his wine.

"I couldn't believe you are the one saying that right now." he smirked.

"Meg, Khaled, looks like you met Mr. Flynn already." a guy arrived.

Liam looked at him, but he didn't know him.

"Dad." Khaled said. That made him smile.

"Yes, sir, we were just talking. You are Khaled's dad?" Liam asked him.

Khaled's dad was very surprised.

"Yes, I am. Do you know my son?" he asked Liam.

Liam stared at Khaled and Meg. He can see the fear on their faces. Like they don't want him to say anything about his past with them, especially Meg.

"Just right now, sir." he smiled. Khaled's dad nodded and chuckled.

"Don't call me sir. Just call me Gerald. I don't want people calling me formally." Gerald chuckles.

Liam couldn't help but chuckle too. Gerald invited him to their table. While eating, the atmosphere looks more awkward.

"I am so proud of you, Liam. You know what, I want my son to be like you, but looks like he doesn't really know anything about business." Gerald scoffed.

Khaled and Megan were both surprised even Liam.

"Dad, you don't have to tell him I am stupid in business." Khaled said with a mad tone.

"Shut up, Khaled. How many times do I have to tell you to put your efforts in our company so that you can receive an award like Liam Flynn? You didn't know? He just had a month on his company and look at him right now. Unlike you, you are still a spoiled brat." Gerald said shaking his head.

Khaled was embarrassed in front of his enemy. He just couldn't take it and groaned.

"Sorry, but we need to leave now. Come on, Megan." Khaled said and stood up.

"Sit down, Khaled. Do not embarrass me in front of our guest." Gerald calmly said but he was already mad.

Liam just swallowed hard and ate his meal. He didn't know Khaled was being treated by his dad like this. "It's okay, Gerald. They can leave." Liam said. Khaled just glared at him.

"No, they can't. We came here together, and we will be leaving the venue together. Right?" Gerald asked Meg and Khaled.

They just both nodded.

"So, tell me, who was this woman who cheated on you? Looks like she is crying right now because of regret." Gerald laughed.

Liam couldn't help but laugh too, because the woman they were talking about was just with them.

"Ohhh, I don't need to say her name, but I am sure she will regret it very sooner." he smirked.

Megan just closed her eyes while Khaled was eyeing Liam.

"Don't you think it's not nice to talk about the woman you once loved with other people? Like you were disrespecting her. I am just saying the fact." Khaled spoke up shrugging his shoulder.

Gerald seems like he was shocked.

"Son, it's not disrespecting, she was the one who disrespected Liam. Just because he doesn't have the things she needs and wants before, she just has to cheat on him. What do you think, Megan?" Gerald asked her.

Megan was very shocked.

"Hu-h?" she asked.

"Sorry, I just want to know your perception as a woman. Why do you think that woman cheated on Liam just because he was poor?" Gerald asked her again.

Khaled groaned.

"Dad, why are you asking her that?" he asked.

"I just want to know. Maybe she knows because she is also a woman." Gerald said.

Liam felt the situation right now is getting more exciting.

Liam and Gerald both shook their heads.

"I don't think so. The answer is that the woman is just a gold digger! She just wants money and material things, because if she really loves Liam, rich or poor, she would be contented and she will not leave him for someone else." Gerald said while sipping his wine.

Khaled just held Meg's hand. Liam saw that which made him sigh.

"I can see you two love each other a lot. If Khaled is not rich, are you going to leave him or not?" Liam asked her, Megan's eyes grew bigger, and even Khaled.

"Sorry, but I am not hurting your feelings, Gerald or Khaled. I just want to know." Liam said.

"Yeah, Liam was right. He has a point. So, are you going to leave my son if we are not rich, Megan?" Gerald asked.

Megan can feel her heart beating so fast and hard.

"This is already insane. Of course, she will not leave me, because she loves me a lot." Khaled chuckled. Megan chuckled too.

"You are not her. Answer it, Meg." Gerald smirked.

Liam just smiled at her making her to take a deep breath.

"I will not leave him." she said.
