10: The kiss

Her answer hurts Liam's ego thinking she could just say or do that when he was still poor, but she didn't. Khaled looked at Liam and smirked.

"Okay, I think she really loves my son. I am already planning their wedding. You will be invited, Liam." Gerald said. Liam was more hurt.

"Really? I would love to come then." he answered.

The situation wasn't that easy for him. Sitting with his ex, her new bf, and bf's dad is not that easy.

"I am sorry, Gerald, but I really need to go." Liam said while looking at his phone.

Gerald just sighs in sadness.

"Really? It's still eight, why? Do you have to meet with someone?" he asked.

"Yeah, I am going to meet the one who helped me." he smiled.

Gerald remembered his advice a while back which made him smirk and nod.

"She's a lucky one then. You can go then. I hope we can see each other again." Gerald said and pats his back.

Liam looked at Megan and Khaled.

"I will head first. Good night." he mumbled.

As he arrived outside, he took out his phone and quickly dialed Althea's number.

"Why didn't you tell me they were going to be here?" he asked.

"What? Who?" she asked. Liam just graned.

"Megan, they were here. I also met her boyfriend's dad." he said. Althea was surprised too.

"I am sorry. I didn't know they were invited to that party too. Why? Has something happened?" Althea is very worried.

Liam just took a very deep breath.

"No, nothing happened. I just felt being with them at the same table merely made me nervous but same time challenged," he smirked.

"What do you mean by that? Looks like you enjoyed." she chuckled.

Liam just told her what happened, but he stopped talking when he saw Megan running on his way. "Megan, what are you doing here?" he asked her.

Megan just pushed her body to him and started kissing him. Liam quickly pushed her and looked around. Good thing no one saw them.

"What the hell?!" he asked.

"I am sorry, Liam. You were right. I regretted everything." she said.

Liam looked at her confusedly.

"Wh-at? Megan, I was just inside with your boyfriend and your dad. You seemed okay, but what the hell are you doing? I thought you loved him that much." he scoffed.

Megan couldn't help herself anymore. She wanted to kiss him again, but Liam blocked her with his arm.

"I am sorry, Megan. I am already done with you. I don't want you to re-enter my life after what you did. Does Gerald know what kind of woman you are?" he scoffed.

Megan just wiped her tears and fixed herself.

"I really don't love him, Liam. You are the one I love." she said.

Liam wanted to really hear that from her. He can't help but smile a bit shaking his head.

"Can you even leave him for me?" he asked.

"yes, I can! If that is what you want, I will do it." she said.

Liam just laughed at her. He didn't know she would be desperate to do that just to be with him again.

"I know you want to go back to me because I am already rich, Megan." he scoffed. 

Megan shook her head.

"No, please, that is not true. I realized that I really loved you when we broke up. I just couldn't tell you, because I am afraid of Khaled." she said.

Liam became worried about what she said.

"What do you mean you are afraid of him? Is he hurting you?" he asked her.

Megan closed her eyes and took a very deep breath.

"Megan." Khaled arrived. Megan quickly fixed herself and went to him.

Khaled looked at him with a glare.

"What did you do to her?!" Khaled asked him.

Liam just laughed and looked at Megan shaking her head.

"I didn't do anything to her, Khaled. As I have told you, you should be watching over her." he smirked. Khaled scoffed.

"What do you mean by that, huh?!" he asked.

"Nothing, I am just reminding you. I need to go." he said and went inside his car.

Khaled just groaned and looked at Megan.

"Did he do something to you?" he asked her.

Megan shook her head and smiled at him.

"No, I just talked to him." she said.

"Why do you need to talk to him? I thought you said you were going to the bathroom. I never thought Liam already held the bathroom." he scoffed shaking his head.

Megan just groaned.

"I came from the bathroom, and I saw him. I just want to talk to him, okay? I didn't do anything, Khaled." she said and walked first.

Khaled just cussed and followed her inside. When they all left, Raven and Marvin came out from where they were hiding.

"I never thought we were going to see that." Marvin sighed in relief.

Raven just chuckled and fixed his clothes.

"Well, we were just lucky." Raven smirked.

"I know right?" Marvin chuckled. Raven and Marvin were both happy.

"Have you taken the photos clearly?" Raven asked Marvin.

"Let's see." Marvin said.

Raven couldn't help but smirk while waiting for Marvin to show him the photos. 

"These are great. We can really see it is Liam kissing a woman." Marvin said.

Raven just laughed and took a very deep breath. He was so happy finally that he had something to use against Liam.

"Marvin, make sure these photos are all over the internet tomorrow." he smirked.

Marvin looked at him curiously.

"Aren't we going to get caught with this one? We can get disqualified by ruining one joiner, Raven." he asked him.

"Stupid! You are my assistant so you should know about it. Just take care of it and make sure we don't have to do anything with it. Okay? I just want that asshole to get off my own way." he smirked while sighing.
