Ella walked away from him and walked towards Thompson, who hugged her tightly.

Lucas stared at the vacuum that she had created right before him. He could feel his heart beating so hard that the sound of it was rising to his hearing.

But he could not let it end just like that. He was tired of being such a coward, constantly trying to back out of a fight because he was poor. He thought that going into a fight was only going to get him into trouble.

Likewise, he could feel the Adrenaline gushing into his blood streams so hard and bad that he could hardly breathe.

He clutched his hands and his feet made a rumbling sound as he stamped them on the floor while walking towards Ella and Thompson. They stared at him for a while, perplexed about what it was that he was about to do.

“Get your hands off, my lady.” He growled at Thompson, pushing him away from Ella just as she shot him a really weird stare.

“And what is it that you think you are trying to do?” She asked, with so much hate and disgust in her voice.

“Not another word from you. I think you have said a lot already and now, it's my turn.” He noted.

He walked towards Thompson and shot a deadly glare at Him.

“What do you even think that you are doing?” Thompson inquired, staring right into his eyes.

“I think that I should be the one that should be telling you that because she is mine. Ella is my girlfriend, and you better learn to keep it that way.” Lucas shot at him, but there was not even a single trace of surprise in his eyes.

“Are you even listening to me or hearing what I just said?” Luca thundered at him.

“She is mine, so you won't get closer to her.” He repeated himself.

Thompson shot a really odd stare at him for a while and subsequently, a burst of laughter escaped from his lips.

“Oh my, I am so scared.” He noted and rocked harder with so much laughter hitting his stomach while Lucas stared at him with so much anger written all over his face.

“So what do you think now? That I am going to leave just so that you will have her? Wait, there is something that you don't get here now. Do you even realize that I knew all about it?” Thompson inquired.

“Knew all about what?” Lucas inquired, still staring right into his eyes.

“I knew about the fact that she has always been using you all this while because of the benefits that she was going to get. Besides, you are the yummiest person that anyone would ever think of, and now she has already gotten what she wants, do you think that she is going to stay with your poor ass.” He laughed even harder, and Lucas could feel his anger rising to his neck.

“But it wasn't all that bad after all. Besides, now your once loveless life knows what it means to be loved.” He mocked.

His voice gradually drained away from Lucas's head. He could no longer stand it anymore.

He thought about his life right from the very day that he was born.

He had always been a nobody, always been used. His words kept on hitting him like a flash of lightning until he could no longer stand it.

Lucas dragged his feet along the floor and walked over to him, and before he could spit out another word from his mouth, he slapped him hard on his face and shot a deadly sneer at him.

“Not another word from you.” He growled at Thompson, who continued to stare at him… so dumbfounded that he could not spit out a single word from his mouth.

“You slapped me?” A word finally leaked out from his mouth.

“Yes, and if you say another word, I am going to do it again.” He threatened.

Ella drew over to him and pulled him away from Thompson. “What have you done, you son of a bitch.” She sneered at him and raised her hands to slap him hard on the face, but he stopped her hands in the air.

“Don't you dare?” He fired, throwing her hands back to the ground.

“Leave him alone, Ella. When I am done with him, I am going to make sure that he hates his life.” He threatened.

A few minutes later, a group of men walked into the place and went over to Thompson.

“Master. At your service.” The biggest of them, who seemed to be their leader said, with a slight bow and Thompson pointed towards Lucas.

“There is the bastard. Make sure that you deal the hell out of his life.” He growled.

Lucas stared at the red eyes of the men, and he knew for sure he was in a big mess, and he had to find a way out of that place.

He stared at the door and attempted to run away, but one of them had already held him by his shirt.

“And where do you think that you are heading to?” He growled at him with so much anger, and they began to kick him hard on his stomach until Thompson decided to stop them.

“Wait a moment.” He ordered, and they stopped what they were doing.

Thompson walked slowly towards Lucas with a dark smile hanging on his face. He slapped him hard until Lucas had to spit out the blood that had formed in his mouth.

Thompson spat on his face and held his jaw tightly. “When they are done with you, and you finally end up in the hospital, you will see me coming from afar, and you will bow before me.” He fired.

He turned towards Ella and gestured so that they would start leaving, and Lucas was left with the merciless men.

“Well, I guess that we will have to deal with you as we crave to do.” The leader of the gang noted and pushed Lucas down to the floor.

Lucas felt a really hard kick on his stomach and he yelled out in pain.

“ Ouch." He yelled at the top of his voice, but before he could get to absorb the pain he felt, another came on his lips, bursting it and causing blood to gush out.

He cried out in pain, but no one was confronting the men.

He could feel the life gushing out from him and gradually, his vision was beginning to blur as he was about to blank out.

Suddenly, he saw a dark figure walking briskly towards them.

“Leave him alone.” He heard a voice in his head, but the men would not stop kicking and brushing his skin.

“Would you stop what you are doing? Do you want to kill him?" The young man yelled.

“It looks like you don't know who sent me out here to get him. Ken did, and when I eventually inform him what you had done, you won’t love the consequences.” He heard and all of a sudden, the kicking stopped, and the next thing that he heard was the loud patter of feet.

Lucas was so grateful, but was already far too weak from the beating and cold, hardly breathing properly now.

Lucas could not even get to see his face before he passed out right on the spot.

Before Lucas could make a movement out of the location, a gang of boys had gathered already, surrounding him. The old man couldn't just stop calling him a thief even after he had explained to him that the money belonged to him. However, at some point in time, Lucas couldn't blame them. He had not taken his time to think through his actions. He should have known that it was definitely going to be outrageous for an odd looking man like him to display such huge amount of money, even if he was in disguise. No one but him knew he was in disguise as a poor man after all.Soon enough, it looked to him like the old man had filled the gang in with the wrong details. That explained the disapproving and angry stares they gave to him. It was unfortunate that even as he tried to plead with them so he could tell them the truth from the misconception the old man had, they had began to throw blows at him, kicking and slapping him at the same time.Lucas considered their action to be inconsiderate, i

He was more shocked to see the group of people staring at him, confusion spread out on their faces. There were just three of them. Three women, staring at him. And neither of them was ready to move away from the spot they were standing at. Although he wasn't surprised at how they stared at him. As of that time, he was no longer the rich looking, handsome billionaire. He was now an ugly haggard poor man who was sniffing around the cliff, probably searching for what to eat. After staring at them in silence for quite some time, he decided to make a move as he suddenly remembered what he had thought of doing if things didn't work out fine. As usual, there was always a plan B.Surprisingly, the first step he took made them take another step back. Despite given the distance, he could still see the distrust that equally led to fear on their faces. Of course, he should have expected that. “I won't hurt you please. I just need to ask you a few questions.” He said, taking another step towards

The last action he did was button up the torn trousers he was putting on. Unfortunately for him, he didn't have a mirror where he could look up himself to see how he looked in his disguised form. He had made a mental note to himself before leaving the house that he had to look the poorest ever. After his several attempts to make the people around him believe that Emily was not dead had failed, Lucas took it upon himself to go search for her himself. He knew how hard he had paid people to go in search of her. However, it was heart breaking to say that there was no one who took it in their deep interest to find her because if they did, he was pretty sure that some positive results would have come out. He was presently at one of the abandoned and deserted warehouses he knew about. That was another perfect spot for a billionaire like him to suddenly transform himself into a disgusted poor man which people would want to stay away from. He had chosen the warehouse, far from the mansion so

“He used to be a student at the school.” The words of Mr. Shaw couldn't stop playing in her head. “I was able to go into the city. That was the only place I could think of finding him since no one here knew who he was. And I had to start from where we had found you. When there was nothing positive there, I moved further. Along the line, I was able to find a group of people, young boys especially who had an idea of him. According to the people I found, he used to be a student at one Belmont Academy.” The old man explained to Emily. At first, when he had come into the house with the good news of having found the man in the picture and knowing his location, Emily felt her heart gladden. Even if they were on a maybe part of finding him, she believed a clue was worth something. But as it stood, she had just one question… how would she find him in a big school just as the old man described? From the look of the young man in the picture, he didn't look like one to still be in school. So, wh

All she had with her was her name which sometimes she questions if it might truly be her name. And also the picture which she had given to Mr. Shaw to help her find the truth behind it. Ever since the date she found the picture, she took it upon herself to search every nook and cranny of the bag said to belong to her, with the intention of finding anything else that could tell her who she truly was. Unfortunately, there was nothing. It was just a bunch of make up kit, the name tag, and the picture. However, what Emily was truly focused on at the moment was finding out who the man in the picture was. She believed that if she found out who he truly was, it could be a lead to her real identity. Now, she was home alone like the previous days. Blake stood to stare at his friend in confusion. He didn't want to believe what he had just heard from him. But then, he was forced to believe him, owning to the seriousness on his face. “I have a lot of questions concerning this if you're actually serious about it.” Blake finally opened up to say. There was a reign of silence as Lucas didn't respond to him. “How did you leave to find Emily? Where did you also go to find her, Lucas?” Blake asked, hoping he would still get a response from him because definitely, he was curious.“When you all were asleep, foolishly believing that she is actually gone for good.” Lucas answered, a sting of betrayal playing in his voice. “Lucas, you're endangering your life.” Blake said, concern glaring in his voice.“I don't care if I had to do that. All I want is to find my woman.” Lucas said forcefully, turning to look back at Blake.“Let me remind you that this supposed woman is dead.” Blake said. “Her body was not found. That doesn't mean that she
