-----

Villa Azure at 3:30 PM did not look like a $52 million mansion.

It looked like a dorm after a fight.

Four pairs of ruined white sneakers by the door. A black Tom Ford suit jacket thrown over a chair, covered in grass. Two Oxford shirts, one with blood — three drops — on the cuff. A hoodie with mud. A Harvard MBA sweatshirt with coffee. Four $2 coffees, empty, on the marble counter, next to a $20,000 espresso machine no one used.

Sophia sat on the kitchen floor, knees up, still in her muddy hoodie, law books scattered. Claire sat on the counter, white sneakers off, bare feet, Oxford shirt untucked, ice-blue eyes still wet with fury, holding Trenton's bleeding hand even though Isabella had bandaged it.

Isabella stood, blazer off, white t-shirt, cleaning the cut again, steady.

"We should go to hospital," Isabella said.

"It's three drops," Trenton said, sitting on the floor too, 6'4 frame folded, Tom Ford pants ruined, ebony skin with a little sweat. "Arthur bled more picking oranges."

Michael Sterling entered, not knocking, his face tight.

"Young Master, she is in the living room. I tried to stop her. She said she has the same blood as Leon. She said if you don't see her, Leon will kill Claire tonight."

Trenton stood, slow.

"Who?"

"Zara Shepherd," Michael said. "Leon’s half-sister. Twenty-four."

Claire's head snapped up. Ice Queen back in one second.

"Zara? Leon's sister? She owns half of Shepherd Aerospace. She tried to buy my company last year."

"She didn't try to buy it," Michael said. "Leon did, using her name. She hated it."

Sophia whispered, "Is she... like Leon?"

"No," Isabella said, blonde ponytail down now. "I know her from London. She hates Leon more than we do. Her mother was Leon's father's second wife. Leon tried to push her mother down stairs when Zara was twelve."

Trenton walked to the living room, barefoot, muddy Tom Ford pants, bandaged hand, $2 coffee still in other hand.

She was there.

Zara Shepherd, 24, didn't look like Leon. Leon was cruel handsome, silver hair perfect. Zara was silver hair too, but not dyed — natural, long, almost white, green eyes, not blue, porcelain but warmer than Claire, 5'11 in a simple black dress, no jewelry, no heels, barefoot like him, sitting on the edge of Arthur's old linen chair, not the big leather chair, as if she didn't want to claim it.

She had a glass of water, not wine. Left wrist — no tattoo. Right wrist — thin scar, old.

She stood when she saw him.

"Trenton Alex," she said, voice soft, British, not American like Leon. "You are taller than Leon said. And you bleed on grass. He never did that. He only makes others bleed."

Trenton sat opposite her, not towering, just sitting, two barefoot people in a $52M room.

"You came to kill me or warn me?" he asked, deep, tired.

"Warn you, then ask you for something," Zara said, and looked past him to the kitchen where three women watched — Claire cold, Sophia pure, Isabella sharp.

"I want you to marry Claire Sullivan," Zara said. "Tomorrow if you can. Not because of Arthur's will. Because if you marry her, her 49% plus your 40% becomes one family. Leon can never take it. His 19% dies. And I can take Shepherd from him."

Claire walked in, barefoot, Oxford shirt, eyes ice.

"You want us to marry so you can take your brother's company?" Claire said, flat.

"Yes," Zara said, honest, green eyes on ice-blue eyes. "I want my brother destroyed. He tried to kill my mother. He tried to sell me at 18 to a Dubai sheikh to fund Falcon's Creed. He hunts old men on beaches. Arthur Blackwood was kind to my mother once, gave her money when my father wouldn't. Leon hunted Arthur till he died. I owe Arthur. I owe you nothing, Claire, but I hate Leon more than you hate me for being here."

Silence.

Sophia stepped forward, hoodie muddy, and did something no one expected — she offered Zara water.

"You are like us," Sophia said quietly. "Leon tried to use you. Like he tried to use Vanessa. Like he tried to use Patel."

Zara took the water, surprised, hands shaking a little.

"I am not like you," Zara said to Sophia, but softer. "You are good. I am not good. I have done things for Shepherd I am not proud of. But I never wore a falcon tattoo. My men — I have ten, good ex-military — they never did. We left Falcon's Creed when Leon took it."

Trenton listened, his dark brown eyes on Zara's scar.

"Your wrist," he said. "Who gave you that?"

"Leon," Zara said. "With a letter opener. When I said I wouldn't marry Dubai. I was 18."

Claire, Ice Queen, who never showed pity, walked over and sat next to Zara, two tall women in black and white, barefoot.

"Stay," Claire said, just that word, to Zara, not to Trenton. "Tonight. For dinner. We have enough $2 coffee for four. Or five."

Isabella counted: "Five. If you include me."

"I include you," Claire said, looking at Isabella, first time without cold. "You cleaned his hand. You closed nine billion from a plane. You can stay."

Zara's green eyes filled, but she didn't cry. She nodded.

At 5 PM, they all ate on the floor, not table — Villa Azure dining table was too big for this. Trenton, who owned eight supercars, sat on floor in ruined Tom Ford pants, eating rice and stew Mr. Johnson's wife had sent, because he liked it more than Balthazar.

Four women around him — Sophia first love, Claire fiancée, Isabella heiress, Zara enemy's sister — all barefoot, all muddy, all holding cheap coffee, all watching him eat like a student.

Michael watched from doorway and whispered to himself: "Arthur, your boy stopped wearing rags. Now he wears Tom Ford and eats on floor. You would laugh."

At 6:12 PM, Michael's phone buzzed. He went pale.

"Young Master. Kade Falcon. Leader of Falcon's Creed. Left wrist and neck tattoo. Ex-special forces, hunted Arthur till his death on Venice Beach. He just landed at LAX private jet. Leon paid $5M. He says he comes tonight to Villa Azure. Not for photos. For kill."

Trenton didn't stand fast. He stood slow, put his plate down, looked at four women on floor.

"Stay inside," he said, deep voice quiet. "Lock kitchen. Don't come out, even if you hear."

Claire grabbed his bandaged hand. "No. Not again on grass. Not here."

Sophia grabbed other hand. "We stay together."

Isabella stood, blazer on, already calling Geneva security. "I have ten men. Zara has ten. We have twenty. Kade has one, but one like Kade is twenty."

Zara stood too, silver hair down, green eyes hard.

"Kade killed Arthur," she said. "I saw file. He was there on Venice Beach. He held Arthur's shoulders while Leon's men—" She stopped, breathing hard. "Let me kill him. Please."

Trenton looked at four women who wanted him — not for money, for different reasons — and for first time, felt weight of $5 trillion not as cars, but as people who would bleed if he bled.

"Tonight," he said, "we don't wear Tom Ford to war. We wear Dior. And we sit on floor first. Then we fight."

Outside gate, a black SUV parked, no lights. Inside, a man with black falcon tattoo on neck, watching Villa Azure with night vision, smiling.

-----The Bugatti hit the east gate of Westwood Elite doing speeds that would have ended anyone else's semester, but campus security had already cleared the checkpoint the moment they saw whose car it was. Trenton was out before it fully stopped, jacket off, sleeves already halfway up his forearms — a man dressing down for a fight instead of up for one."Report," he snapped at the head of security, a broad-shouldered ex-Marine named Doyle who'd been hired the week after the Malibu gala."Two males, confirmed Falcon ink, spotted near the east gate six minutes ago. They split up when we made them. One headed toward the library. We lost the second near the parking structure.""Sophia," Claire said, already moving."West building, like you said. Not the car, not the point. But some habits from being invisible for eighteen years didn't die just because you owned the university now."Two dollars," he told the barista at the campus cart, sliding the coins across like he always had. She blinked at him — designer coat, watch worth more than her tuition — and didn't ask why the trillionaire still paid cash for a small black coffee.Old Arthur used to say: the day you stop remembering the price of things is the day you become someone else's target. Trenton remembered every price. He was still holding the cup when Jake Reynolds and two of his friends rounded the corner near the library steps, laughing about something until they saw him. The laughing stopped. Vanessa Cole was with them, arms crossed, sunglass

"Lights out, gates locked, kitchen panic room. Twenty men inside. One man outside."Twenty men. Ten from Geneva — Trenton's private security, ex-Swiss Guard, no tattoos, suits off, now in black t-shirts, silent, positioned at every door and window.
