The elder’s face flushed with rage at Prince Baka’s harsh words—and he leaped straight into the arena.

Prince Baka tensed, readying himself for battle.

“Sengkapura, I’ll admit I’ve always admired your loyalty to the clan,” he said. “But I never thought you’d turn traitor for that worm Abiseka!”

“Where is Abiseka? And the twelve warriors who followed him?” Sengkapura demanded.

“They’re all dead—well, Abiseka might still be breathing,” the prince replied. “But it’ll take him a lifetime to regain his lost power. By then, I’ll already be at the peak of immortality.”

Sengkapura stared, unconvinced. He still suspected the prince had tricked Abiseka and returned to the clan only to win support. That was all he could bring himself to believe.

Sengkapura was the second-strongest in the clan after Abiseka, and one of its most respected leaders. His sharp mind and careful calculations had kept other Demon Clans at bay—they dared not provoke the Fire Horn Demons while he was watching.

Duke Baka sat upon the leader's throne, the very seat his father once occupied. Now, he was formally recognized by all members of the clan as their rightful Duke, whose commands were to be obeyed.Duke Baka announced to the elders the existence of an ancestral legacy, long locked away. Almost no one had ever been able to open the gate guarding it.The gate lay hidden behind the mountains that loomed behind the Fire Horn Demon Clan."But wouldn't it be difficult to get there, Your Grace?" Dharmasraya inquired.Duke Baka turned to Arga. "Indeed, brother. So far, no one has been able to open that gate. The journey there is fraught with obstacles. There are mystical beasts that we fear," Duke Baka said.Arga's eyes narrowed at the mention of mystical beasts. His curiosity was piqued."You mean animal spirits?" Arga asked."That's right! There are many dangerous animal spirits. Many of them attack in packs, targeting anyone who approaches the gate!" Dharmasraya explained.Arga nodded thoug

  • Dharmasraya

Dharmasraya felt Arga was merely toying with him. He sensed that the youth had yet to unleash his true power."Human! I know you're holding back your strength! You humiliate me by not taking this fight seriously!" Dharmasraya roared, incensed.Arga smiled faintly, leaping backward. "I propose a bargain. If you agree, I shall reveal my full power. What do you say?""What bargain do you propose?" Dharmasraya demanded, his eyes narrowed.Arga grinned, glancing towards Duke Baka. "If I defeat you, you must swear to serve Duke Baka until your dying breath! Is that sufficient?"Dharmasraya was taken aback. So were all the demons present. Duke Baka was equally surprised. He hadn't anticipated Arga making such a proposition. My brother is testing Dharmasraya... Duke Baka thought, deeply moved.Dharmasraya glared at Arga. "Very well, I agree to this bargain. But if you fall, I shall devour that girl," Dharmasraya sneered, pointing towards Arimbi.Arga's gaze hardened. His heart stirred with an

Following Sengkapura's defeat, not a single demon dared to challenge Prince Baka. They knelt and bowed before their new King.Arga applauded, approaching Prince Baka, who still stood tall. Seeing Arga's arrival, Prince Baka smiled with joy."Finally, I could show them who I am, warrior..." Prince Baka said, his eyes glistening with tears."Save your sentimentality. From now on, never show your weak side. You are the strongest demon in this clan," Arga said, patting the Prince's shoulder."This is thanks to your teachings, warrior. I should call you master..." Prince Baka said.Arga laughed, amused by the title. "I'm not worthy of being called master. Just call me brother. Aren't the Hell Demon and the Ice Demon brothers?" Arga asked, chuckling. Prince Baka was taken aback, then burst into laughter.Arimbi smiled, watching their camaraderie. The demons, however, were bewildered by the closeness between Prince Baka and Arga.Arimbi leaped into the arena, approaching the two men. "Congra

  • The Strongest Demon Descendant

Sengkapura pulled a dagger from his palm, a clear intent to tear Prince Baka's mouth apart.Arimbi felt compelled to intervene, but Arga squeezed her hand."You don't need to worry. This is nothing yet. You'll be surprised when you see Prince Baka's true power," Arga said, his face serious.Arimbi studied Arga's face for a moment, finding no hint of jest."What do you mean?" Arimbi asked.Arga smiled, glancing towards the arena. "He possesses a special power that awakens when his life is truly threatened. I saw it myself during his training yesterday. I beat him mercilessly, nearly to death, and strangely, when I was about to deliver the final blow, he went berserk! He lashed out wildly and brutally. Fortunately, I managed to escape and hide behind a rock. If we had continued fighting, one of us would surely have died.""What kind of power is it that would make someone like you hide?" Arimbi questioned.Arga chuckled softly. "Just watch and see," he replied, turning his attention back

Arga froze at what Arimbi was doing. But their lips had already met, and Arimbi had begun to kiss him.Arga could do nothing. His body trembled as he felt the softness of Arimbi’s lips melting against his own. Their breaths came in ragged gasps, and their kiss grew hotter, wetter.Blood thundered through every vein in Arga’s body. Never before had he tasted the bliss of kissing a girl—of feeling Arimbi’s lips so gentle against his. After what felt like an eternity, they pulled apart, their eyes locking. Arimbi gave him a meaningful smile, then rested her head on Arga’s chest. She felt the wild thud of his heart beneath her ear.Slowly, Arga’s hand moved toward her long, fragrant hair, stroking it softly.“My love…” Arimbi whispered, savoring the tenderness of his touch. The beautiful face was so close. Arga brushed his fingers lightly against her cheek—so smooth, so pale it made him swallow hard.“Arimbi… I don’t know what I’ve been feeling all this time… But when I’m near you, I feel
