The elevator doors closed behind Keith and Linda with a soft chime, leaving the Richardsons and Denver standing in the lobby like statues carved from shock and humiliation.

Emilia's face cycled through several shades of red before settling on a color that resembled raw liver. "How did they... what did she say to them?"

The Richardson family mansion felt more like a funeral parlor than the seat of a once-prosperous pharmaceutical empire. In the opulent conference room, tension crackled through the air like electricity as the family's matriarch, Grandmother Sally, sat at the head of the mahogany table with murder in her eyes."Explain to me," Sally's voice cut through the silence like a razor blade, "how our family's business partnerships have completely collapsed in a single day!"Emilia shifted uncomfortably in her chair, her designer dress wrinkled from stress and her makeup smeared from crying."Grandmother, I've been trying to reach Cross Pharmaceuticals all morning, but they won't even take my calls!""Won't take your calls?" Sally's voice rose to a dangerous pitch."We've had a standing partnership with Cross for years! They've been our most reliable supplier!"Melaine wrung her hands nervously."The receptionist said our account has been... suspended indefinitely. They wouldn't provide any exp

Yona's exhaustive search had finally led her to a breakthrough when she spoke with a nurse at the hospital who remembered Keith mentioning something about Northhill Estate. Now she stood at the imposing gates of Villa No.1, her heart pounding with a mixture of hope and disbelief. The same security guards who had humiliated Keith earlier approached her with professional courtesy, their demeanor vastly different from their earlier encounter."Ma'am, this is private property," the older guard said politely."May I ask what brings you here today?""I'm looking for Keith Cross," Yona replied, her voice trembling with nervous energy."I believe he might be staying here. I'm his... I'm his sister-in-law, Yona Richardson."The guards exchanged meaningful glances. The younger guard stepped forward. "One moment please, ma'am. Let me contact the residence."Keith Cross living in a place like this? Yona thought, staring at the magnificent estate beyond the gates. This has to be some kind of mista

What do you think you're doing here?" the guard barked as Keith lowered the window."This is private property, not a tourist attraction!"His partner, a younger man with beady eyes, laughed mockingly."Look at this guy! Probably some beggar who stole a fancy car and thinks he can crash at a rich person's place!""I'm here to access my property," Keith replied calmly, his voice carrying no hint of irritation despite their rudeness. The older guard burst into der

You might find yourselves on your knees begging for forgiveness very soon."Natalie burst into vicious laughter that echoed through the marble lobby like the cackle of a hyena. "Listen to him! The delusional blood bag thinks he's some kind of corporat

Natalie's face twisted with disgust as she spotted Keith approaching the Blackwater Pharmaceuticals entrance, her perfectly manicured hand rising to point at him like she was identifying a particularly offensive insect."Well, well, well," she sneered, her voice dripping with contempt."Look what the cat dragged in. Keith Cross, the family's pathetic blood bag, strutting around like he owns the place."Her eyes narrowed as she noticed Linda walking beside him, and her expression grew even more venomous."And he's brought some cheap floozy with him! How typical of a worthless cheater."This disgusting worm has the audacity to betray Emilia and parade his mistress around in public, Natalie thought with righteous fury. She stepped directly into Keith's path, blocking his route to the building's entrance."What exactly do you think you're doing here, you pathetic excuse for a man?"Keith's expression remained ice-cold as he regarded Natalie with barely concealed disdain."The more relevan
