Keith folded the divorce papers with deliberate precision and handed them to Linda, who accepted them with a knowing smile. The simple gesture sent Emilia into a fury that burned hotter than molten steel.

"You cheating bastard!" Emilia shrieked, her voice echoing through the hospital lobby like a banshee's wail. "I knew it! You've been sleeping with this woman behind my back! That's why you signed those papers so easily, isn't it?"

Her finger jabbed accusingly at Linda, trembling with rage. "How long have you been carrying on this disgusting affair? How long have you been making a fool of me?"

Keith's expression remained glacially cold as he regarded his soon-to-be ex-wife. "Not everyone is like you, Emilia."

The words hit like a physical blow, and Emilia's face contorted with humiliated fury. "What's that supposed to mean, you worthless piece of garbage?"

Linda stepped closer to Keith, her smile radiant and genuine. "If Keith were willing to be with me, I would agree without hesitation. He's worth a thousand of the men you surround yourself with."

"How dare you!" Emilia screeched, her voice cracking with indignation. "You don't know anything about our relationship!"

Denver, who had been watching the exchange with growing discomfort, finally stepped forward with manufactured bravado. "Keith, you and your little girlfriend better prepare yourselves for the full wrath of a B-rank family. The Walsh name doesn't forgive insults easily."

This fool still thinks his family name means something here, Keith thought with amusement.

Keith turned to Denver with a look of pure disdain. "Your threats are about as intimidating as a paper tiger in a rainstorm. Now get out of our way—we have real business to handle."

Emilia burst into mocking laughter that filled the hospital lobby with its shrill intensity. "Real business? You? Keith, you can't even afford bus fare, let alone have 'real business' in a place like this!"

She doubled over with laughter, clutching her sides dramatically. "What kind of business could a blood-donating parasite possibly have here? Are you applying for a job mopping floors?"

Melaine joined in her daughter's cruel laughter. "Maybe he's here to sell his kidney! That's about the only valuable thing left in that worthless body of his!"

Keith glanced at the arrogant, sharp-tongued group in front of him, then at the stern-faced bodyguards in black nearby, and couldn't help but find it amusing.

With a hint of sarcasm, he asked, “So what are you all gathered here for? Has Laurent’s illness been cured? Or is it that you’ve suddenly run out of hospital rooms?”

Melaine was so enraged by Keith’s mocking tone that she nearly jumped in fury. She shouted angrily, “You penniless wretch, what right do you have to talk to us like that? If it weren’t for the Richardson family, you'd still be rotting on the streets! You’re not even worthy of stepping foot in this hospital!”

"Denver!" Emilia grabbed his arm desperately, her nails digging into his expensive suit. "Do something! Call your people! Get rid of those men right now!"

Denver's hands shook as he fumbled for his phone, his confidence evaporating like morning mist. He dialed his family's head of security with trembling fingers.

Keith ignored their taunts completely, walking purposefully toward the men in black with Linda at his side. The security guards stood like immovable pillars, their expressions unreadable behind dark sunglasses.

Emilia's laughter grew even louder and more vicious. "This is going to be hilarious! Watch them get thrown out on their asses!"

She turned to Denver with tears of mirth streaming down her cheeks. "Even you couldn't get past those thugs, and you're the heir to a B-rank family! What makes these two idiots think they can succeed where you failed?"

Denver nodded smugly. "They're about to learn a very painful lesson about respect and hierarchy."

"I hope they get beaten black and blue!" Melaine added with sadistic glee. "Maybe then Keith will understand his place in this world!"

Emilia clapped her hands together like a child anticipating a circus performance. "Oh, this is perfect! I can't wait to see Keith crawling back to us, begging for forgiveness!"

But as they watched, Linda approached the lead security guard and whispered something in his ear. The change was instantaneous and dramatic—the man's posture straightened, his expression shifted from bored indifference to respectful attention.

"Right away, Dr. Linda," the guard said, his voice carrying a deference that made Denver's blood run cold.

All the men in black stepped aside in perfect unison, creating a clear path to the elevator. They bowed slightly as Keith and Linda passed, their earlier arrogance replaced by something approaching reverence.

The lobby fell into stunned silence. Emilia's laughter died in her throat like a strangled animal, her mouth hanging open in disbelief.

"That's... that's impossible," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

The police officers left, their footsteps echoing through the mansion's grand hallway. Dr. Henderson packed up his equipment quickly, clearly eager to escape the toxic atmosphere."I'll be filing my report about this incident," Dr. Henderson said nervously. "The medical board will need to investigate what happened here.""Don't bother," Dr. Matthews said dismissively. "There's nothing to investigate. The patient had an unexplained reaction to a routine procedure. It happens sometimes."Dr. Matthews gathered his own equipment, his movements brisk and professional. "Mr. Richardson, I suggest you focus on finding a long-term care facility for your son. He's going to need specialized attention.""You're all abandoning us," Emilia whispered, watching the doctors prepare to leave."We're not abandoning you," Dr. Matthews replied coldly. "We're simply acknowledging our limitations. Modern medicine can't cure everything, young lady."Within minutes, both doctors had left, taking most of their

I gave Laurent the same blood I've been giving him for years."Edward's face was flushed with frustration as he stepped forward, gesturing wildly."Officer, that makes no sense! If Keith's blood has been compatible with my son for years, what could possibly cause these complications now?""I don't know," Keith replied with a slight shrug. "Medical mysteries happen all the time.""

The call ended, and Emilia turned to glare at Keith with triumphant satisfaction. "You think you're so smart? Let's see how smart you are when you're sitting in a jail cell."Keith's expression didn't change. "And what exactly are you going to tell them?""The truth!" Emilia declared. "That you poisoned my brother!""Did I?" Keith asked mildly. "Because I distinctly remember being forced to come here under threat of financial ruin. I remember being coerced into donating blood to Laurent against my will. I remember being blackmailed and humiliated by your family."Edward looked up from his chair, hope flickering in his eyes. "The police will make you talk. They'll force you to give us the antidote.""Will they?" Keith asked. "On what grounds? What crime have I committed?""Poisoning!" Emilia shrieked."Prove it," Keith said calmly. For the next two hours, the mansion was filled with tense waiting. Edward paced back and forth like a caged animal, checking on Laurent every few minutes. E

You're absolutely heartless! How can you stand there and watch my brother dying while making demands?"Keith's expression remained unchanged, his voice cold and measured."Cruel? That's rich coming from you, Emilia. Do you remember how you mocked me? How you called me your personal blood bag? How you said I was worthless trash who should be grateful for the privilege of serving your family?""That's different!" Emilia protested, tears streaming down her face."Is it?" Keith asked, tilting his head slightly."You tried to enslave me with your demands. You humiliated me, blackmailed me, and treated

Keith's smirk widened slightly. "I think you know exactly what's happening, Edward. The question is: what are you willing to do about it?""Stop playing games!" Edward roared, his fists clenching at his sides. "Tell us what you did to Laurent!""I didn't do anything to Laurent," Keith replied with infuriating calmness. "I simply gave him my blood, exactly as you demanded.""Then how do you know how to cure him?" Emilia demanded, her voice cracking with desperation.Keith paused for a long moment, letting the tension build before he finally spoke. "Because I know what needs to be done to reverse his condition. But it will only happen on my terms.""Your terms?" Edward's voice was dangerous. "You piece of garbage, you don't get to make terms! My son is dying!""Actually," Keith said coolly, "I'm the only one here who can save him. That puts me in a rather unique position, doesn't it?"Dr. Matthews stepped forward, his medical ethics overriding his confusion. "Mr. Cross, if you have info
