Chapter 5

Davis stared unbelievably at his friend.He found it hard to believe the fact his friend came all the way from his house through the cold and teary night to tell him some gibberish.

"Anaya has been taken"Oliver exhaled.He walked to the bed absentmindedly and sat down tapping his leg on the floor of the room like they were the cause of his Perturbation.

Davis has never seen his Oliver so disturbed no to tell of thinking about a strange woman who is not just evil but dangerous.The sound from Oliver's foot against the floor was an evidence of his restless.Davis walked up to him and sat beside him on the bed.He glanced at him and shook his head piteously seeing the emotional condition his friend was passing through."Listen Oliver!"Davis started, holding Oliver on his shoulder like a husband who is about to give his wife some midnight advice."You're not an hero who at the expense of his life would want to save another life.You're not Jesus.Pipsqueak!!"Davis Flicked his finger together as a way of getting his friend's attention."You're Oliver Benson,an ordinary person".Oliver turned to him and stared for a while"I don't care if I am weak or not some kind of Superman but I must find out all the hidden secrets concerning my dream!"he suddenly said and stood up walking to the window but Davis' words made him turn immediately "Okay fine!!I am gonna follow you".

"But I'm not gonna pass that window with you "he added before hurrying to his wardrobe.He put on something nice and used the window instead of the entrance.

The sound of their footsteps was barely audible like the sweet sound of a man giving a woman a passionate kiss.The duo make their way scrupulously on the football field found at Hilton University.What is exactly Oliver's intention? Even Davis blindly follows him like a cow about to be slaughtered without knowing why they were in school at that time.His curiosity got to the peak,so he grabbed Oliver by the hand in such a way the boy turned abruptly"What!"his voice came dryly.

"What the hell are you doing?" Davis tried as much as possible to keep his voice low.Before he could say anymore words,Oliver whispered and took the lead once again"Just follow me and stop asking questions!".

"Pathetic !!you're Leaving me in the dark"he spread his two hands in demonstration before making use of his leg ,running after Oliver.

They passed through different security guards and walked along silently like a thief,they stayed far away from illuminated regions to avoid being caught.They opened several doors until they got to the laboratory which was at the extreme end of a long passage.The speed with which Oliver got to the entrance of the laboratory was similar to how he followed Julianah after discovering a syringe in her bag that early morning during the experiment.

"You're leaving me again!!"Davis bellowed from behind.He hurried to Oliver breathing like one who just crossed the red sea.

"Can you hear that?"

"Hear what?"

"It's so loud,can't you hear the sound?

Davis glared at him"You have started hearing things again.You're weird mehn!".

He walked past him to the door "How are you gonna open this? Sorry Wrong question".He turned to him "What the heck are we doing here exactly?"

Oliver approached the door to see it was totally locked."I never thought of this" He said, rubbing his fingers through his hair thinking critically.Before he knew it,Davis raised his shirt and began to pull his belt"What the heck do you think you're doing?"he shrieked.

"What you see am doing"Davis pulled his belt in such a way his trouser fell to his knees revealing his boxer"You're getting me naked mehn!!"

Davis pointed a finger at him jokingly "if you're not careful am going to pull the knicker"

He walked to the door with the belt and used the iron head in place of a key.He struggled with it for some seconds before he heard a clicking sound,he turned the knob and creaked the door opened.Oliver watched all these admist the sound that keep coming to his ear.It seems he is the only one hearing the sound which was strange.

He followed Davis from behind into the laboratory.The sound became so audible and deafening which makes Oliver cover his ear to prevent the sound from Reaching his ear but it wasn't helpful not until Davis held him on the shoulder,then the sound died down"What is wrong with you?"he asked staring intituively at him.

"I heard the sound,it's so loud this time".He dragged his trouser which continues to fall from his waist.

"I didn't hear anything Oliver,you're getting me scared mehn!"he stepped forward scrutinising the laboratory.Everything was well organised the way it was left."Why are we here Oliver?"

He didn't answer, rather he walked to the same door where he had picked up a chemical which Mr Henry termed a dangerous chemical.He turned the handle, fortunately,it wasn't locked.The door opened with a long creaking noise to reveal a dark room,only a blinking red light which was as small as a dot could be seen by the duo as both strained their eye from the door to have a clear vision.

"What is that?"Davis queried sarcastically.

Oliver put on his phone light to have a clear visibility.He totally stepped into the room walking towards the direction of the red dot,with each steps he takes,he could hear the sound again.

He directed the touch to the location of the red dot which was a metallic wardrobe tightly locked with Security passcode.Oliver waved the touch light at Davis who was still at the door."is this the source of the strange sound you have been hearing?" Davis became inquisitive once again.

"I doubt it Dav."Oliver shortened his name."We need to find a way to open this"he added.

Oliver inserted a password but it was wrong.He input several password yet it was wrong.He stood up in frustration.He kicked the wardrobe in annoyance.Davis stepped forward"You need to take it easy" he bent to the drawer"I think I have an idea!!"Davis said happily.

Oliver glanced at him and averted his eye immediately.Davis inserted the school name but starting with the last letter.Surprisingly,the wardrobe clicked open.Oliver rushed to it immediately.

Inside the wardrobe rested a black bracelet which look different from normal bracelet.It is made of a metal but fancily designed.Davis stretched his hand to hold the bracelet but it electrified him which made him step back in horror."What was that?"Oliver asked him.

"Touch it"

Oliver stretched his hand too but surprisingly the bracelet flew in the air like it was being controlled by an invisible force.Oliver scurried backward fearfully even Davis too.

The bracelet began to fly towards Oliver with a force which makes him fall to the ground as he hit his leg on an object.Davis had found his way outside of the room due to fear of unknown.

The bracelet continued to fly towards Oliver who also dragged his butt on the tiled floor in fear until he reached a dead end,resting his back against the wall as if to penetrate into it.

The bracelet flew into his wrist and created a spark which started making Oliver to quiver due to the electrocution.Davis could hear his voice from outside so he called "Oliver,are you okay?"he said sarcastically and stretched his neck inside to see the electric light"Damn!!!"he hurried inside but Oliver had lost consciousness before he could reach there."Oliver"he shook his body vigorously but he looked dead.

Suddenly,the bracelet created a little spark and Oliver gasped awake almost immediately.His eye sparked of lightning so as his hair stood erected like the dick of a sexually aroused man.Seeing this, Dave moved backward fearfully"Who the hell are you??"

Oliver never responded rather,he turned to Davis but he was shocked to hear his thought and he could also see his heart beat tremendously in fear."It's me Davis"Oliver struggled up from the floor.The more he took some step towards him,the more Steps Davis take backwards,taking precautions and caution.

"Am not gonna hurt you" he stretched his hands to Davis as a significance of trust but Davis shook his head negatively"This isn't you Oliver..no.. no.."he demonstrated this by shaking his head negatively once against yet he never stopped moving backward.

Oliver walked briskly to a mirror which was at the corner of the room.He stared at his reflection,touching his face like one randomly.He suddenly became calmed looking at the bracelet around his wrist.He tried to pull the bracelet but it appears to be stucked on his wrist.He turned to the mirror to notice an unusual blue spark in his eye."What's happening to me"he soliloquized and touched the mirror lightly.Surprisingly,the mirror melted and disappear into the thin air like it was never there.The experience scared Oliver himself,he jumped backwards,it was more scarier to Davis who watched in silence at his position but suddenly picked a race out of the room in fear.Oliver followed his immediately "Davis wait!!"

Along the passage where Davis feet echoed due to the impromptu race,the sound caught the attention of a security guard who was about to enter a class but turned, walking to the direction of the disturbace.A club was clenched at his fist,one could also see a cell phone positioned around his chest which aid his communication with the other guards."Hey you!!who are you"he pointed the club at Davis who halted the race immediately.one could see him breathing heavily.The security man stepped forward still pointing the club "Your hands in the air!!"he bellowed.Oliver also rushed to the scene breathing heavily with both hands on his kneel.

Without wasting much time,the security guard passed the information across through the cell phone "Over over!!!we have an intrusion at the Laboratory ..."The force at which Oliver and Davis ran pass him,pushing his to the wall cut the remaining statement from his mouth.He struggled up from the floor"Bastards!!"he cursed and pursued them.

Back to the dome,just as Alex prepare his mind and soul to save Anaya from the wrath Alico Gander so as Julianah planned o now to save his twin sister.She could be seen with a phone on her ear.She was on a call.Though the use of phones has been banned by Alico Gander for security purpose but stubborn workers like Julianah still secretly make use of it. "Hi Dennis,were you able to track the Video?"she asked on the call.

She exhaled and flung the phone to a corner after hearing a negative response."Fuck!!Fuck!! Fuck!"She hit her leg continuously against the wall and slid down resting her back against the wall in frustration.Tears began to circulate her eye once again.
