Chapter 6

Julianah sniffed as tears fell from her eye.The pains and agony she had felt over the years would not be washed away by those tears even if she cry from dawn till dusk hence she raised her head from the floor,wipes her tears and stood up.She hurriedly began to dress up in her black outfit.She could be next seen in from of a mirror with a mask in her hand,glanced at her reflections in the mirror.Her face were swollen due to tears.Just before she wore the mask,her wrist watch blinked a red light which indicates it's time for another Kidnap.She glanced at the watch,exhaled deeply before finally putting on the mask.She stepped out to her bike and jumped on it heroically"Crommm!!!" Cromm!".The engine revved before zooming off.

Meanwhile,the tunnel where Anaya was kept was not just dark but choky due to lack of air for proper breathing.One could see the young lady sweating profusely,her dress were totally wet,sticking to her body in such a way the shape of her body became visible to any eye but all that didn't bother her at the time due the condition she found herself.She already began to think Alex had forgotten her.Different indignant thought wandered through her mind-"Was he lying to me?" How could I have believed him?".Just as she thought,the lid of the tunnel cracked open."Come out now!".She heard a soft whispering sound from Alex who flashed a touch at her from above.

She began to climb out slowly cos she has lost a lot of energy already.She grabbed Alex hand just at the top of the tunnel as a means of getting out of the tunnel.She laid flat on the floor breathing heavily.Alex flashed the light on her face "Are you okay???"He asked, staring at her face.He could see the voluminous shape of her breast due to the fabrics which engulfed her body due to her wet body.Alex swallowed, trying not to be carried away by what he was seeing."We have no time, we need to escape now otherwise get caught"he said while Anaya glanced at him on the floor.She covered her eye with her hand to reduce the ray of light coming from the torch.She struggled up from the floor."You almost let me die down there"she said, pointing to the tunnel after gaining some strength.

"Am sorry.its better than dying coldly in the hand of Alico gander "Alex said and led the way followed by Anaya as both walked through another secret path.It is a long tunnel,one could see water on the floor which splashed due to the impact from their Boots.

The sound of the splash was the only thing that could be heard in the silence that lingered within the tunnel.Though distance sound of engines could also be heard which fade away slowly as they move further in the tunnel until Anaya broke the silence"How long will it take us to get out of here?"she asked.

"Like One hour".Alex replied without turning back.

"Knowing the time it takes to journey through this canal means this isn't your first time here."Anaya said thoughtfully.

Alex halted on hearing.He turned flashing the light on her face "What are you insinuating?"his voice paved within the sanctum.

"Am insinuating you have a hidden secret.Why should I trust you?".She spread her two hands in demonstration.

"Because you have no choice"Alex turned back.

Anaya scoffed and said"I have a lot of choices"

Alex said as he began to walk again "Any other choice apart from this is going to lead to your death!"

"Am not scared of death"

"Really??"Alex said in a raised tone and continued "Even if you later become scared of death,I am not going to leave you".

Anaya was speechless on hearing that.Even Alex could sense inquisitiveness from her silence.She finally found her voice"Why?"

"Because I lo…"before he could finish his statement, the blaring emergency Alarm reached their ear from a distance."We've been caught.Run!"Alex commanded.More water splashed from their feet as they run through the canal.

Meanwhile, back to the main building of the dome.Alico gander vibrate in anger after he noticed Alex and a test subject is missing.He had called other workers too,asking them the whereabouts of Alex but all answered negatively.All shivers and quivers due to Alico Gander's angry voice"You'll are bastards!!"he pointed randomly. "You're trying to crumble the work I spent my whole life and effort to build"he placed angrily in the sanctum. "Am never going to allow that!"

He turned to his soldiers who were behind him.They were heavily armed with guns."Listen fool!"he began. "I want you to bring them alive or death otherwise you'all will face my wrath"he concluded and turned but the soldiers were still standing without moving an inch.He turned back to them "Spread out now you fools!!"He bellowed.

The soldiers followed the instructions immediately.One of them found the secret canal which Anaya and Alex escaped through" I found the escape route.60° north.Do You copy?"He communicated with other soldiers.The soldiers could be next seen running with heavy footsteps through the canal.

Oliver and Davis were fortunate to escape the Security guards.One could see both breathing heavily with hands on their knees trying to catch their breath along a lonely path.Davis was the first to straighten up after regaining some breath.He started walking away but Oliver's voice came from behind"Wait for me Davis"he said but never stopped.He hurried to him and grabbed him on the hand."Get your fucking hands off me!!"he shrieked.He faced Oliver,the shadow of both guys casted on the floor with the aid of the street light.Their position was like that of two boxers ready to pounce on each other"You led me into this!!"Davis began."What if you have touched me like you did to that mirror.Am gonna be melted like me piece of trash right?? Just stay away from me man!!"he concluded and walked ahead.

Just then,the headlight of Julianah's bike shone from the far end.Hearing the sound,Oliver knew it was the strange lady, Already Davis had ran back immediately at the same time staying far away from Oliver by hiding behind one of the electric poles.From his hiding place,he saw Oliver stood in the middle of the road without moving an inch then muttered"This guy has grown some nerves".

Before Julianah got closer,Oliver had read her mind.He knew she's not going to hit him with the bike yet he stood still.

Oliver flew in the air to deliver a kick to Julianah but she was fast enough to block it with a hand but unfortunately she got destabilized on the bike and crashs on the floor in such a way she tumbled severally before finally crashing into a building.The bike had also exploded after tumbling severally too.Davis came out speechlessly unable to believe what he just witness.Infact,he cleaned his eye severely to be assured he's not dreaming because the particular scene looks like the action movies he had been watching."Holy Moses!!!"he exclaimed.
