Detective Sam and Sergeant Clinton booked an appointment with the police commissioner even when it appeared unnecessary. It was a lengthy hour of discussion trying to convince the police commissioner about their plan to engage in some disguised illicit act to bring Herbert Halloway completely to his kneel. At the end of the discussion, they were able to convince the police commissioner after drawing out their plans.

They both left the police commissioner’s office satisfied and felt fulfilled. The commission had begun working on their demands, especially the part where more personnel were needed. He knew what they were entering and he ensured the best were recruited and sent to Mushin for proper inspection.

Detective Sam and Sergeant Clinton returned to Mushin and met with the DPO. They disclosed everything to him and he was happy that it went well. When he was told, he had doubts about it due to the resources it was gonna take, he doubted the police commissioner would be ready to be that committed. He was surprised that the commissioner give in and understand his initial stance.

After meeting with DPO, they also planned to meet with the Supernumerary police but it was turned down when Sergeant Clinton brought back the earlier discussion on limiting their meeting hence, Detective Sam suggested a video conference was held. They had also been communicating with the police commissioner concerning the suitable setting for each of the ladies to establish their fake business and made it real to make Herbert Halloway to feel more at home.

Herbert Halloway had been planning to meet the ladies although t they hadn’t ad the time to communicate that much because he was interested in knowing the kinda business they weee engaging in. Time hadn’t permitted him, he wanted to ask the last time at the Hotel when he was disrupted by the police raid to his castle.

“How was the building you went to check?” Detective Sam asked.

“I think that place is suitable. That’s at Yaba, it was a great place especially with its vastness. We will assign that to one of the ladies,” Sergeant Clinton said.

Early in the morning, in the government quarter where they were allotted for their time in Mushin, it had been a kinda hell of a life and would prefer the life they were leaving in the hotel but that had been coming from their pocket, the government could only fund their stay in the quarter but it was in a deplorable condition.

Sergeant Clinton had left home very early for Yaba to check the new building which had been procured for them by the Commissioner. He was satisfied with it and gave a good feedback to Detective Sam. Sam was comfortable with the fact that everything was dragging leg on the floor. He wanted it to be done as soon as possible. He wanted a physical meeting with the ladies hence, he had prepared a night meeting which would be more direct about what they were gonna do and how they were act.

Before Evening, they had checked all the buildings and seemed to be coming to conclusion concerning the settings. They were two buildings that were still being considered among the ones that they had checked.

When it was late in the night, Detective Sam and Sergeant Clinton met with the Supernumerary police and everything was sorted once and for all.

Herbert Halloway early in the morning sat in his parlour. He wasn’t happy with the fact that none of the ladies had chosen to give him audience having been making effort for the past couple of days. It wasn’t their fault, they had been acting to script and according to how they were told by Detective Sam.

He was seated when he sent back some ladies that were brought to him. His phone rang and he felt reluctant to even look at the the person that called. When he was told that it was one of the ladies, he came back to life forthwith and received the phone rapidly.

“Hey, Cynthia. How are you?” He asked.

Cynthia had a medium height and was one of the five ladies giving a serious sleepless night. Herbert Halloway didn’t mind marrying them all and the fact that they gave him audience and the freedom to express himself when he showed interest in them all had given him a kinda confidence.

Due to his emotion, his psyche hadn’t gone to the usual plans he did employ by deploring a spy on any new person he came across and was intended in having any dealing with. His heart had been overtaken by love.

“I am fine, Chief.”

The ladies had come to conclusion to be referring to him as chief to make their conversation more coded when they were in the public.

“How have you been? You’ve been turning down my request to visit your empire including your friends. Why?”

Cynthia smiled. Detective Sam and Clinton including her colleague were still around. It was a ploy to see how he would react and to their surprise there wasn’t any changes in his behaviors despite the kinda neglection they had depicted for the past couple of days.

“I am sorry. I will invite you here soon. Are you going anywhere tomorrow?” Cynthia asked.

“No, no. I am not. Can I come to visit you?”

“No. That will be in rush. I will send a text to you soon and let you know the hotel where we will meet. My colleagues too have been busy with their activities, maybe I can invite them over but I don’t know for now,” Cynthia said.

“Ok. No problem. I will be expecting your feedback.”

Herbert Halloway said and dropped the phone. He had never been that excited for a long period of time. Detective Sam and Sergeant Clinton were seeing the bright side of their plan and was very glad by the development they had been experiencing.

“How was the communication?” Sam asked.

Cynthia nodded and they shook hands in jubilation.
