"What the hell did you just say?"

Mr. Carrington Crossed the room in three quick stride.

Kade didn't flinch. His expression was neutral despite the Anger that consumed Mr. Carrington's face in a violent shade of red.

Behind, Mrs. Carrington was in confusion just like everyone other person in the room.

"You heard me clearly the first time, Mr. Carrington." Kade said passively, "I won't repeat myself just because you're angry at the truth I just told."

"What truth?!" Mr. Carrington barked to his face, "accusing me of my daughter's sickness to my face? You're a pathetic criminal!" His voice dropped to an octave, low and dangerous. "If anything should go wrong with my daughter, I swear you're dead!"

"Security!!" He barked towards the door. Boots smacked the Marble as several Securities stormed the ICU. "Restrain him!" The tension in the room was over the roof. Ten trained security guards circled Kade yet he didn't even blink.

Instead, a faint smile touched the corner of Kade's lips. "Because I just told you the truth, you think your little guards can stop me from saying more?" His voice was maddeningly calm for a man sorrounded by threats. "None of them can stop me from speaking whatever I wish to say even when it makes you mad."

"You think this is joke?" Mr. Carrington snarled, stepping through the formation. "At a single command, they will drop you dead on that spot."

"Then you watch your daughter die." Kade retortet instantly. His boldness was spectacular. Everyone looked at him, silently stunned by his confidence, even Mr. Carrington was surprised.

Kade looked across the room and exhaled softly. "Listen, i didn't beg any of you to be in this place. I came because I wanted to come. I'm walking away if my help is not needed here." He turned. His cold gaze landed the bodyguard in his front. The bodyguard didn't move, but something about the way Kade looked into his eyes and the cold murderous aura around him sent shiver through his spine. His finger tembled on his weapon.

Kade slowly turned to look at Mr. Carrington. "But let me tell you, your daughter is dying on that bed because of your carelessness and negligence."

He paused. The room was still oblivious..

"What..what are you talking about, Mr. Crowe? How is my husband responsible?" Mrs. Carrington asked, agitated.

"Ask him where he got the poisoned chocolate from?"

Mr. Carrington's jaw dropped. His eyes widened in shock. "What..how did you.." His voice trialed off.

Everyone in the room looked at him now, confused and curious.

"Honey, what is he talking about? What poisoned chocolate?"

Mr. Carrington swallowed hard. "I don't know what he's talking about..but yesterday while I was rushing to meet up with a meeting when I picked Olivia from school after the driver called in sick. She was disturbing me for chocolate and luckily I saw a store by the roadside..that was where I got the chocolate."

"That chocolate wasn't just an ordinary Sweet. It is poison."

The room gasped, surprise flashing through their expression.

"Chocolate?" Dr. Williams let out a sharp mocking laughter. "Mr. Carrington might have gotten the chocolate but there is no way it is the cause of Olivia's illness. If truly she was poisoned, the machine could have diagnosed it. You're a liar!"

He hissed but he wasn't finished. He turned to look at the couple.

"I know people like him." His finger snapped at Kade accusingly. "They stalk rich people and monitor their life so when something happens, they use their discoveries against them to con money out of them. That is exactly why he's here, spitting nonsense!"

Mrs. Carrington glared at Kade, suspicion flashing in her eyes now.

"Is that true? Is everything he said true?"

"Mrs. Carrington.."

"Get out of here now!" Mrs. Carrington snapped his finger to the door, anger flashing in her eyes.

Dr. Marcus smirked faintly, satisfied his false explanation triggered Mrs. Carrington.

"I thought my father was right about you but it turns out you're the opposite of everything he sai.."

The shrilling alarming scream of the monitor rippled through the air, panic plunged in the ICU immediately. Olivia's body convulsed violently against the heart monitor and machines.

Dr. Williams bolted to the bed, panic flickering across his features.

"We're losing her! Get the diazepam ready, now!!" He barked at a nurse.

The room scrambled, one nurse filed the syringe quickly, a support doctor stared at vitals that refused to stabilize on the monitor, his expression white in panic.

Mrs. Whitmore watched everything with racing heart, tears poured from her eyes watching her daughter fought against death.

Dr. Marcus injection her a doze diazepam.

The Monitor stopped screaming, and at first everyone thought the storm was over, but the display on the heart monitor, a horizontal straight line crawling across the screen made the room fall into a grave silence.

Dr. Marcus stared at the screen with eyes wide in horror. The syringe slipped from his hand and clattered to the floor with barely audible sound.

Aria laid still on the bed completely motionless, her chest still, her face completely drained of colour and her lips were ashen.

Mrs. Carrington's voice cracked, tears pouring heavily from her eyes.

"No..no... It can't be..it can't..."
