EPILOGUE

The next morning.

Victoria woke up and did not receive a bed coffee. She went to the kitchen,only to find a letter there on the fridge.

Cassey had written a letter and disappeared. In the letter, she thanked Victoria for her care, and apologized for leaving this way because she knew Victoria wouldn’t let her go otherwise.

“The bats must have really scared her,” Victoria couldn’t really blame Cassey, but she was still angry that Cassey left without even telling directly to her face. “If she comes back running after a few months, I won’t take her in.”

On the other hand, Gregory, having lost his argument with Victoria the previous night, brought a black magician to chase the bats away. However, they didn’t know this black magician was a fake. But that would probably be not proven because the bats would no longer attack the mansion from here onward.
