Back in the mansion, Kai carried Sarah gently to the medical wing Maverick had prepared weeks ago. In the city, Kai and Sarah’s names were on everyone’s lips. The couple that lived in the black mansion. Owners of the Bush complex and the Dynasty hotel.The emergence of the Rylans rocked everyone’s world in the capital and it had barely been a week since they moved.~Sarah stirred in the warmth of the mansion’s master bedroom, one hand resting absently on the curve of her belly. She was never good at hiding her emotions or reactions.“Quite.” She said so before turning around and handing him a box. “Thankfully it got delivered in time.” Kai opened the bag. “You have that kind of money?” Sarah asked and Kai full on laughed this time around, “yes.” Was all he said as he got up. Everything about them was different now but their relationship remained the way Sarah loved, unbreakable and lighthearted. He sat up and headed to the bathroom for his morning ritual, to splash some cold water on his face and brush his teeth.
