To say that Ava was disappointed was to say the least and immediately Leonard walked in he noticed that something wasn't right, trying to find out what that was a tedious task because everyone was hellbent on saying that they were fine when in reality they weren't

"Ava, darlin. What's wrong with you? You look sick and pale. I thought the doctor said you were recovering?" He glanced at Emma discreetly, asking what happened.
