ANDREW

Mrs. Hills could not believe her eyes. Her husband kneeling down before the man that she was supposed to take down by them? Was the world now playing a trick on her?

"Honey. What are you doing? Why are you kneeling down before this lowly runt?" She glared, still confused at what was unfolding before her.

"Don't you know that we are going to become a laughing stock before everyone if this goes out to the public?" She inquired.

"Huh?" Dora is confused. She sniffed and her tears were already slowing down gradually.

"Daddy. What's going on?" She inquired, confused.

Austin looked at Dora angrily. Seeing that his father was kneeling down before her father, his ego was being destroyed.

"Dad, what are you doing?" He was trying as hard as he could to suppress the anger that was gradually rising in the inside of him.

"Do you really intend to make me a laughing stock before everyone?"

"Fool, scumbag! how dare you?" His father, who had treated him like an angel that fell down directly from the sky, shouted at him for the first time and he was taken aback.

"Have the both of you suddenly gone mad? You dare to talk to Mr.Andrew? Do you even realize that he is the reason that we are where we are at the moment?" He yelled back at them.

Even though the companies were now in his position, he knew that he would be very stupid for him to fight back.

When Patrick arrived, none of the companies he mentioned existed yet. They were all established within a year, with billions spent on their creation.

Patrick didn't flinch, unaware of the person's or company's power. He didn't reveal much about himself or his background, only giving instructions. Going against an unknown enemy, despite his accumulated powers, would be suicidal.

Mrs. Hills was stunned by her husband's suggestion: "We should both kneel and apologize to him. Maybe he'll spare our lives." She couldn't believe she was being asked to kneel before someone who looked like they just emerged from poverty.

The idea was unimaginable, and she struggled to comprehend the sudden reversal of power dynamics.

Mrs. Hills was appalled by her husband's suggestion and refused to kneel before Mr. Patrick, she would rather kiss a mad man. She was furious, her hands clenched in anger, as she turned to face him.

She suspected that Mr. Patrick was the one who had manipulated her husband, causing this sudden change in his behavior. She was determined not to submit to him.

Coming from a prominent family herself, one of the top ten families in the world, she saw her marriage to the Hills family as a strategic alliance. She had expected that if they had a male heir, it would further solidify their position.

Now, she was not going to let Mr. Patrick undermine their status.

If her husband refused to take action, Mrs. Hills was prepared to take matters into her own hands. Her son asked, "Mummy, do we have to do what dad says and do those things?" tears welling up in his eyes.

Mrs. Hills reassured him, "Don't worry, we don't have to. If your father won't help us, we'll find another way."

Mr. Hills was shocked and angry, his wife's defiance and growing ego catching him off guard. He had never seen her challenge him so openly before. "What are you doing, Sandra? Have you lost your mind?" he exclaimed, trying to assert his authority. "I'm still your husband, and you should listen to me!"

But Mrs. Hills ignored him, leaving Mr. Hills feeling stunned and concerned that she was heading down a dangerous path.

Mrs. Hills approached Patrick, her eyes blazing with anger, and demanded, "Who are you and what have you done to my husband?"

Patrick replied, "I am a butler of the Genius family," his expression calm and collected.

The crowd gasped in shock, their eyes wide with disbelief. How could a mere butler command such respect and fear from the powerful Mr. Hills?

Whispers spread through the crowd, "There must be more to this story. Maybe Patrick saved Mr. Hills' life and he's showing gratitude?"

But others doubted this, pointing out Mr. Hills' terrified state, "Look at him, he's shivering and drenched in cold sweat. He's clearly frightened, not showing gratitude."

The crowd continued to murmur among themselves, speculating about the situation, but they kept their voices hushed, wary of being overheard by the powerful individuals present. They knew that crossing these men could mean ruin for their lives.

"A butler?" Mrs. Hills repeated, her hands tapping impatiently. She was unfamiliar with the Genius family and suspected that Patrick was lying.

"You're a nobody, a mere butler! I don't know your family and I'm sure you've fed my husband a bunch of lies. You'll pay for this!" She snarled, her anger escalating.

Mr. Hills felt a chill run down his spine as he tried to intervene, "Sandra, please, let's just forget about this. It's not worth pursuing."

But she wouldn't listen, her mind set on revenge. "Don't worry, I'll take care of this. I'll make sure he pays." She threatened, her eyes blazing with fury. "We'll start by taking down his family business." Mrs. Hills assumed that Patrick's family was among the top five hundred in the city, which is why she couldn't recall their name.

"If that's the case, then it'll be even easier for me," Mrs. Hills said, confident in her plan.

"Take the family I work for down?" Mr. Patrick repeated, his expression turning serious. "Let's see who'll go down first."

He pulled out his phone and dialed a number, instructing someone to "Pull down the Armstrong family and bring me the crumbs that are left. Tell their patron it's all their daughter's fault and she should apologize to Mr. Andrew if they want to keep working with us." Mr. Patrick glared at her, his eyes intense.

Mrs. Hills was taken aback, wondering how he knew her family's name without her mentioning it. She shook off the thought, attributing it to coincidence.

"I guess I'm that popular, huh?" She smiled and dialed another number, this time calling her father. "Hello, Daddy," she said, but was met with a loud scream on the other end of the line.

"You fool! What have you done?!" Her father's thunderous voice almost deafened her, and she froze.

Andrew was already making arrangements to get his parents moved to a better hospital that was just a minute's drive away from his house, and in no time, parents had been transferred, all thanks to Pa Jones help, who had assisted in filling out all the paperwork that was necessary for making the transfer. Andrew had made sure that he had sorted out all the hospital bills where his parents had been and thanked them heartily before leaving. It was not until dusk when his parents had been settled into the new hospital before Andrew remembered that he had not yet retrieved his car from the ice cream shop. "Darn it! How can I be this forgetful these days?" Andrew lamented to himself. He knew going back to get the car would be a lost cause because already the car would have been stolen because he had kept the key to the car carelessly for any lucky thief to find. "What's the matter young chap?" Pa Jones, who had noticed the change in Andrew, could not help himself but ask. "My car. I w
