Trouble (II)

The smile on Noah and Ana face disappeared as they saw this person, and this didn’t go unnoticed by Alton and Maria. The person started started walking towards their table and Ana replied to him in cold voice “The feeling is not mutual Mr Capell.” As Alton and Maria looked towards the voice, they saw a person around Noah age with an average body who was not fat but also not fit standing there with red hair and blue eyes.

The person with a smile on his face said “Miss Ana you can call me Henry rather than by my family name aren’t our families close to each other” Ana stayed silent not saying anything else, not receiving any answer the man looked at the Alton and Maria and asked in a commanding tone “Who might you two be I have not seen you here.”

Alton and Maria stayed silent so this got on his nerves so he asked again “I am asking who you might be you are not from any noble family around here so shouldn’t you greet a viscount son after seeing him.” Noah and Ana didn’t jump in remembering Maria and Alton identity as they were waiting for a show knowing Henry.

Alton answered, “What a coincidence I also don’t know you so how about you leave us alone.” Hearing this Henry got angry, and his guard stepped in front of him seeing the guards Maria smiled moved towards Alton and said in his ear “Alton the guard is Advanced Apprentice mage, and that Henry is only Beginner Apprentice Mage.”

Alton smiled and replied to Maria in a voice which was only audible to them “Sister you are above them how about asking Veronica and Cecilia to deal with them.” Maria looked at the girls thinking about the suggestion and then answered, “Well the two of them should be enough but what if...” Alton butted in “If you feel anything wrong jump in, they need experience as they are blank slates.”

Maria hesitated but upon hearing Alton reason nodded to him and then sat back straight Alton looked at Veronica and Cecilia who were standing behind them silently and said “Veronica, Cecilia handle it.”

Veronica and Cecilia nodded and then moved in front of Henry guard without thinking about a thing as they had trust that if anything went wrong Maria will jump in, seeing the maids moving for the defense Noah and Ana were shocked because why was Alton asking maids to but in rather than Maria.

Henry seeing that Maria and Alton were talking like there was no problem and also had maids understood that they were nobles but he was sure that they would be small nobles because he had not seen them before and Noah and Ana made friends irrespective of identity and it was almost winter so no one was foolish enough to come to this place in winter which is hardest winter in empire.

This made him angry and he turned towards Noah and said “Master Noah as they are not showing me respect don’t blame me for anything after this.” Noah was about to say anything but Alton first said “We are not showing you respect you came to our table and without introducing yourself you command us to introduce ourself if you don’t want anything bad to happen you should go.”

Noah was about step in between before the fight got big because Alton and Maria were thier guests and their rank was higher than Henry but Ana placed her hand on Noah shoulder while shaking her head “Brother let it be Henry can’t do a thing while Sister Maria is here and he should be taught his place.” Noah had double feeling but he agreed because of Maria and stepped back.

The other people in the shop attention was also on them and started talking among themselves trying to know the identity of the people Henry was up against but no one knew about them so hearing this Henry smiled because no one knew their identity just meant that they were not anyone important so he said “Guard do it.”

Hearing this the guard immediately used his fifty percent mana power to put pressure on Veronica and Cecilia but next second a barrier was formed around both of them and they were standing without any problem so he put his all strength but Veronica and Cecilia were still standing there was a bit of strain on their faces but the guard knew they were at the same level so he said “Master Henry these two are at least Intermediate Apprentice mage.”

All the people heard the guard words and were shocked because these two have Apprentice Mages as maids what was their identity the most shocked were Ana and Noah thinking even if Teren family had same rank they were on another level when words came out of Ana mouth in low voice “This is the least you will expect from Teren family they had Duke title even if the title was relegated none of the given land was taken back from them so economically they should be at the same level as a Duke family.” This was only heard by Noah and he nodded to this.

Henry started thinking what to do even if they were not noble there family should be rich and may be hard to deal with but he attacked first and in front of these many people he cannot step back so he asked his guard in low tone “What can we do?” The guard looked Alton, Maria, Veronica and Cecilia and said “These two maids have power but I cannot sense anything from both of them how about I attack them directly? This can help you gain face.”

Henry nodded as this was the only idea coming to him right now and even if they are rich and may have connections he knew his father will handle it

The guard was in his mid-thirties so he had a lot of experience he was unable to see through Maria as she was on higher level than him and she was also used to suppress her mana so no one will notice. The guard knew that he could not attack Alton and Maria head on because the maids will stop him so first he build up the mana pressure above Veronica and Cecilia making them deploy the mana shield once again but then he moved his mana pressure towards Alton and Maria like a storm and it hit both of them head on.

As this was surprise attack no one was prepared so when the mana storm hit Maria she stood up from the chair but nothing happened to her as this was nothing to her but Alton was thrown back three meter from his chair and hit the floor hard.

Maria, Noah and Ana simultaneously shouted “Alton” name and started moving towards him, Veronica and Cecilia also shouted “Young Master” and went near him.

Henry was smiling seeing this but the guard had a frown on his face because Maria should be in same situation as Alton but she was completely alright the guard understood that some thing was not right so he said to henry “Master Henry we need to leave…”

Before he could complete his words Henry moved in front of him and while pointing to himself he looked at them and said “Now you know what happens when you go against this young master.” Seeing that Henry was not listening to him the guard took out a rectangular box which was made of metal out of his pocket which was short distance communication device out of his pocket and let his mana run through it and explained the whole situation to the other side and called for reinforcement in case something happened. After talking he put the trinket back in his pocket and said “Let this just be my miss judgement if not we are going to suffer a lot.”

As all of them were around Alton who had lost his concious looking at him with worried expression Maria picked up his hand and let her mana run through his body and she sighed seeing that there was no internal injury.

Alton opened his eyes and Maria said to him while holding his hand “Alton can you hear me?” Alton got up from the laying position to sitting position and looked at Maria who was on verge of crying “I am okay the artifact which was gifted to me by Uncle Liam saved me if not for that there may be little internal injury.” Maria nodded and then Alton looked at the rest of them and said “I am okay.”

Noah and Ava asked “Are you sure do you need a doctor?” Alton smiled and replied “No need I am fine.”

Veronica and Cecilia were already on their knees thinking this as their mistake Alton stood up and said to them “It’s not your fault get up you two.” Veronica and Cecilia were just like Maria they were depressed but hearing him they stood up. As they turned towards Henry and his guard they saw that Henry had a smile on his face so he repeated his words “I said you will suffer if you go against me.”

Ana slapped her head and shouted “Henry you idiot do you have any idea what you have done even your father is in trouble now.” Henry was left speechless hearing this and Ana continued “They belong to the” Alton put his hand on Ana shoulder and said “No need they cannot leave now even I will be unable to stop the coming storm they brought this upon themselves.”
