Eric walked in with pride, staring at everyone at their seat. "I still wondered why you all decided to stick to this delinquent." He said slowly, looking at Jason.

"You all have known me for how long now? Years, months... I practically know how Thomas Carter built up this empire after his death." He said, tapping the chair in front of him. "I find it hard and disturbing to see that you are quick to give Jason the seat that belongs to me."

Jason looked at him and laughed, "And who knew you also had hidden claws?" He jested. "To think I believed you could be the man I looked up to was disheartening when I found out that you were a son to Thomas Carter."

Jason walked away from the door towards the seat in front of them all. "I wonder how many there are of us out there."

There was a slight laughter in the room, making Eric's face harden the more.

"Enough of this bickering!" Henry snapped, and there was silence once more. "Have you seen the news? You made a fool of the family by

"You won't dare!" Henry shouted. "Do you think those people have the right to have me pushed out of my own organization?" He roared again. "To me, those people's opinions mean a lot more to me than yours would ever be." Jason replied. Richard Desmond let out a smile seeing that Jason was trying to outsmart Henry even at his very own game. Eric and Camilla looked at each other and saw Jason was no longer the timid boy he used to be. He looked more fearsome and more determined than ever. "Why don't we go ahead with what Mr. Jason had just said? It is a tie between you both." Richard looked at Henry's face. The tension was visibly seen in the boardroom as people who wanted Jason out and Henry out started to quarrel among themselves. Jason saw it was chaos already; he let out a smile and looked back at Henry with a calculative gaze. He had wanted him to work with the security personnel, but maybe just with the right push, then he can have him sent out of the organization. "What i

"Where are we going?" Marcus asked each time as Jason increased his speed each time he remembered the death of his grandfather. He also had a note that Thomas had written and given to him before his death. "You need to slow down, buddy, or you are going to get us killed." Marcus Warner holding the dashboard. Still Jason was quiet as he drove across the dusty floors. "Is this about Henry?" Marcus broke the silence after a long time again."You won, so I don't see any reason why you need to be worked up over this." "I need to know who killed him. I need to know what my grandfather was trying to tell me before his death." Jason finally spoke up. "Then you should take it easy, man. You can't do a thing if you are dead." Marcus warned Jason pulled over in front of the gigantic hospital. "We are here." He said, removing his seat belt with a sigh. Jason could remember the last and dying look on Thomas Carter's face. Jason landed on the floor and couldn't believe what he was seeing. " This is impossible!" he shouted in anger as he grabbed the paper on the floor. He walked back to the mansion and stared at his enemies in the eye. " Did you do this?" Jason looked at Fiona. " I know you don't like him but must you go this far?" Jason said in anger as he squeezed the paper in his hands. Fiona looked at him, " What are you talking about?" She asked with a funny face. Jason looked at her and noticed she might have not a clue about what his grandfather had left him. " So you were going to tell us who killed Sir Thomas." Camilla gaze met with Jason's. He had a troubled look on him and for a moment he stood still looking at their faces. The truth was that, Jason was having more enemies by the day and it was difficult to find who to rely on trust. He looked at the paper again and back at Fiona. " I don't know what you did to him but I am going to find out. In the meantime, I dnt want you all in

Jason got down from the car and was surprised to see Alessia standing in front of him holding the back of her neck. "Have you been stalking me?" he asked, staring at her. He was having a migraine as a result of the head bath. "I won't exactly call that stalking. I was just trying to make sure you are safe. Nothing more," Alessia replied. Jason stared at her, not sure of what to say. His grandfather's will had made it known he had to get married to either one of the sisters, but looking at Alessia, he could see right through her. To Jason, she was another Linda who was after material things, but he needed to put her loyalty to the test. "Are you alright?" Jason asked, putting on a show as he moved closer to her. He saw she had a scratch on her body, and she was bleeding. Jason took out his phone and called a mechanic to come and tow his car and that of Alessia to an auto mechanic. "Why don't we go to somewhere we can get you cleaned up?" Jason looked at Alessia's, who was surp

Marcus dropped to the sofa chair in front of him; he looked a bit worn out and tired from all the paparazzi that had been going on with Jason and him trying to be HR good friends. If left to Marcus, he would have loved to overlook what has been done to him and leave a happy life. His phone chimed; Marcus picked it up and saw an envelope. "Work done, boss." Marcus nodded and dropped the phone back to the table in front of him. He got up and strolled towards the wine shelf in front of him. He grabbed a bottle of whisky and sat down to drink. His mind went back to Jason and how he had reacted when they left the Carter mansion."Was he hiding something?" He said slowly as the hot flavour of the whisky burnt his tongue. Marcus shrugged a little and sighed. After the death of his father, Marcus had done nothing but abstain himself from the company. "What are you really trying to tell me, Mr. Henry?" Marcus asked, staring at Henry. "Your father was my friend, and we have been in business for a long time now." "In business?" Marcus looked at Henry's face and then stared back at Death, who had been keeping mute. "Is he supposed to scare me?" Marcus asked quickly before Henry could talk. "Scare you?" Henry let out a small chuckle."Why would I want to scare you? You haven't done anything, have you?" Henry looked at him. "So why do you have to bring him here if all you are here to do is talk?" Marcus looked at him. "Marcus, I am not here to scare you. I am here to talk business with you." Henry said, crossing his legs. "What are you proposing?" Marcus looked at Henry, who was finding talking to him amusing. "As you know, Jason and I are at loggerheads." "You killed his parents!" Marcus shouted at him. "You mean we killed his parents." "What about our visitor? Are you making him comfortable?" Jason looked at Zeek. "Sniper?" He said immediately looking back. "Who do you think I was talking about?" Jason replied. Marcus said, slamming his hand against the table. He stared at the envelope his father left behind. It was incriminating, and there was no way he could understand what was written in them. It was glaring that his father was a culprit, and he did it without being forced to. Marcus stood up from the chair he sat on, his face glued to the picture of his fath

A playful smile appeared on Irene's lips. "Thought you might never ask."She rose from the couch slowly, walking toward the glass window that overlooked the dim courtyard below. Her silhouette stood framed by the pale moonlight seeping through the curtains. “Jason Walker is a ghost now, but even ghosts have weaknesses. And I know every single one of his.”Niko watched her, his jaw tight. He didn’t trust her, not entirely—but something about her voice, the confidence in it, made him listen.“You said he’s going to come for the wedding,” he muttered. “What if he doesn’t?”“Oh, he will,” Irene said without turning around. “Aleesia may have stolen him, but he’s still a man ruled by guilt, by a need for closure. He will come. And when he does, we strike—not just to capture him, but to break him. He doesn't know what you are and I bet he has not seen you up close. Jason is going to come to get a visual of that and when he does, we take him down." Niko frowned. " You mean kill him?" " What

Do you think he is going to show up? And besides, we don't even know if he is alive or not. It has been how many months now?" Clark arched his eyebrows and looked at Irene, who was seated with her legs crossed. "You said you know Jason very well, if I am correct." "Very well. What do you want me to do?" Irene asked. "Nothing. Do nothing but just make sure Jason comes to the wedding. Use any trick if you must, but I would like to have him down at the wedding." Clark looked at her. "And how do you suppose she does that?" Nikoklause said finally after being silent for a long time. "Remind me why you are here again?" Clark raised an eyebrow. "I am here because we are talking a

Jason stared at the man—Skull. His face was gaunt, carved with battle scars and time-worn lines, but his eyes… his eyes burned with a ferocity Jason had only seen in war-hardened soldiers. Not just for me—for all of us.”“Exactly,” Skull said, voice sharp. “Clark doesn’t want to kill you, not yet. He wants to consume you—to use your blood to strengthen himself..”The room was more quiet now. Everyone was ready to listen to whatever Skull had to say. He was the man who knows everythi

"Well, we busted our ass to save yours, Mr Walker, and if you think we are unworthy, then I and my brothers are going to leave." One of the men who Jason presumed to be the leader said, looking at Jason. "Did you hear that? Didn't you say these men were ready to die for my cause?" Jason snapped. "Yes, but you don't talk down at them. These are men who have kept the legacy of the Walkers for a very long time. I think they deserve some respect." Raven looked at Jason. "Fine. I think we got off on the wrong foot. I am sorry. My name is Jason…" Jason was about to finish his words when the leader stopped him. "We know who and what you are, Mr Jason Carter, or should
