THE SAVIOR

01 : THE SCAPEGOAT

“ I have nothing to say Dad . Today I am a man thanks to you. You accepted me and you took care of me as if I were your biological son. I will be grateful to you for that. ” said Pedro, crying. His heart was so heavy to depart from the separation of his father.

" I'm sorry Pedro. But know that I will always think of you . Thanks to you, I won't be murdered . Today you are my hero. Thanks a lot son. ” Mourinho cried.

Mourinho is Pedro's adoptive father and an excellent shopkeeper who lives in Bogota.

One night, while Mourihno was walking alone in a forest behind his house, he heard the cries of a baby.

 Astonished, he then rushed to find the baby. Thus, great was his surprise to find that there were wolves around this baby. But these animals immediately ran away when they saw Mourihno coming towards them. 

So, Mourihno decided to adopt the baby. That baby was Pedro. As he growing up, he became more and more handsome and his powers grew rapidly. 

They were supernatural powers that he couldn't control but he's gifted. Unfortunately, his adoptive father Mourinho had problems with Jim SIMAO, the boss of the Japanese mafia. 

And to avoid trouble, Mourihno sold Pedro as an slave to JIM SIMAO. Pedro meanwhile, was also aware of their deal and he agreed to give himself up to save his adoptive father's reputation. 

This is how, after talking at length with JIM SIMAO, Mourinho asked Pedro to put his things away in his suitcase. It was finally time for Pedro to go to Japan with his new master .

“Arrived in this Asian country, I want you to be calm . You are a wonderful young man. Please don't change. As for me, I will do everything possible to resolve my problem otherwise with Jim and will take you back ” Mourinho said, looking Pedro in the eye. 

He tried to assure his son and made a promise.

“ Don't worry Dad . In Japan, I will do nothing to spoil your reputation. ” Pedro gave a reassured sad smile.

After a few minutes of conversation between father and son, Pedro leaves the house and gets into a Mercedes Benz. It was JIM SIMAO's car.

••• INSIDE THE CAR •••

“ I don't know what Mourihno and you talked about but now , you are my slave and I will do with you what I want. ” JIM SIMAO said with a wolfish grin.

“ Why are you acting like this? ” asked Pedro, frowning.

“Just because you're sitting in the same vehicle as me doesn't mean you can talk to me any way you want. ” Simao growled.

Pedro quickly calmed down despite being upset over what Simao had told him.

Mourinho meanwhile, he was watching Simao's vehicle go away yet he didn't want to be separated from Pedro but he had no other choice.

“ I made a mistake and Pedro is paying the consequences. How can I get him out of there? ” he murmured.  

Indeed, JIM had stolen diamonds worth 20 million dollars from an art museum in Tokyo. Then he gave these diamonds to Mourihno and asked him to sell them.

 After the sale of these diamonds, Mourihno unfortunately lost the 20 million dollars. In revenge, JIM asked Mourihno to give him Pedro as an slave and he will forget the 20 million.

 He knew that Mourihno loved Pedro very much. It was a tactic to snatch from Mourihno what he loved most. 

Mourinho also had no choice but to let Pedro go with JIM because Jim was a very influential man and Mourihno didn't want to have any problems with him.

••• A WEEK LATER •••

Pedro arrived safely in Tokyo a week ago. It was the first time in his life that he was in a house full of bodyguards. Everyone had weapons except him.

However, He was in his room when someone knock at the door.

" Who is this ? ” he asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

Without answering Pedro's question, the stranger suddenly enters. It was Imaleya, JIM SIMAO's only daughter.

“ My father wants to see you right away. He is in his office. ” she said.

 She clicked her tongue in disappoval.

Pedro straightens up and leaves his room. So he accompanies Imaleya to Simao's office. Arrived at his destination, Imaleya turned around while Pedro entered his master's office.

“ Hello Mr Simao. ” he said slowly.

“ Sit down quickly. I have something to tell you. ” Simao ordered him.

Pedro immediately sits down looking him in the eyes. This confused JIM and anger thrummed through his veins.

“ Who do you think I am? Do you think we are of the same social rank? Or where do you think you are? ” JIM snapped angrily at him.

Pedro was still staring at him and he hadn't understood Jim's sudden change of mood.

“ You are my master and I am your slave. ” he answered timidly. 

The slave word was so big for him. It was new identity for him, which he had to accept unwillingly.

" Since you know it yourself, then don't look me in the eye again when you're in front of me.The slave never looks into his master's eyes. He lowers his head. ” said JIM arrogantly. 

After this statement from JIM, Pedro quickly lowered his face down. Then, JIM gets up and walks towards him.

“ If I asked to meet you it's because I want you to marry my daughter Imaleya. ” JIM informed him, while taking a sip of wine.

" Marry your daughter ? ” Pedro jaw dropped in shock.

“ Yes and don't be happy about it. If I want you to marry my daughter, it's because her grandfather wants her to become the next CEO of our family business. But the company's associates won't agree if they find out that Imaleya is single. So it was decided that my daughter will inherit this business only if she has a husband. ” JIM sighed in frustration. 

“ But why me? Doesn't she have a boyfriend? ” Asked Pedro, narrowing his eyes.

“ You are the one I chose because I want son in law less but a slave more. You will do as my daughter orders you and like a good slave you will follow her orders. And this secret will be between us. Noone should know about this. If anyone does then I will make sure your father and your graves are dug at same night. ” Jim smirked evilly.

It was enough to warn him if he dared to do something wrong against JIM.

" OK sir. Either way, I have no choice. I will marry your daughter. ” replied Pedro.

At the end of their conversation, JIM authorized Pedro to go back to his room. After a while, Imaleya walks into her father's office.

“ Has he agreed to be my husband? ” she immediately asked. 

“ Does he have a choice? You are going to marry him and he will die the day after your marriage. Pedro is our scapegoat. I made him understand that he had no choice but to accept my proposal ” JIM gave a lopsided grin to her.
