Sophie grabbed her burning cheek and stared at Dr. Alexander in complete bewilderment.

Her mind went blank.

In all the years she had worked at Heritage Hospital, she had never seen the Medical Director lose his temper this much.

The old man wasn't merely angry. He looked terrified.

"D-Director..." she stammered.

"What... what's going on?"

Dr. Alexander didn't even look at her. Instead, he turned back toward Johnson, his face filled with panic.

"Young Master, I'm deeply sorry."

He lay quietly on the bed, staring at the ceiling as the events of the day continued to replay in his mind.Who could have tried to find out who was inside the car?Why would someone track the vehicle?Johnson turned to the other side of the bed and sighed.“Who is really behind all this?” he whispered. He remembered what his father had told him.His identity had to remain confidential until they were able to find the real culprit behind the attack that had separated Mr. Edward from his family for many years.Johnson knew his father had a good reason for giving him that instruction. He had also agreed to follow it. But the events of the past few days were making him more curious than ever.He closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again.“Dad told me to keep my identity confidential until they find the person behind everything,” he whispered to himself. “But so many things have happened already.”

If I stop, George will be angry.”He rubbed his forehead.“Why did this have to happen?”Just as he was still thinking about what to do, his phone suddenly began ringing.El Mayo quickly reached for it. He looked at the screen and saw George's name.He remained silent for a moment.“Should I pick this call?”The phone continued ringing.El Mayo stared at it. Then, without thinking any further, he answered.“Young Master George, you are calling?”“Yes,” George replied immediately.George had just arrived home, and his voice

He looked at the convoy surrounding their car and then at the security vehicles moving carefully around them.“The family security is very tight,” Johnson whispered.Samuel nodded.“Yes, sir. It is.”Johnson turned his face toward him. “Has it always been like this?”Samuel was silent for a moment before answering.“No, sir. Things were not like this before.”Johnson raised his eyebrows.“What changed?”Samuel took a deep breath.“It all changed after the incident that separated Mr. Edward from his family. Since that time, he has never joked with anything concerning security.”Johnson became silent. The mention of the incident made something come back to his mind. His mother. For several seconds, Johnson did not say anything. She tried calling again, but the call was not answered. She frowned.“What could be making her so busy at work?” Mia asked herself. She looked at the phone again and sighed.“This is not the first time she has ignored my call.”Mia could not understand why Bethany had suddenly stopped answering her calls. She wondered if she had done something wrong or if Bethany was simply too busy to speak with her.She dropped the phone beside her and leaned back on the bed.“I am already exhausted from today,” she whispered. “I will visit Bethany at her office tomorrow.”She closed her eyes, hoping to get some rest after the long and stressful day.Meanwhile, Johnson was sitting quietly inside the car as Samuel Briggs drove him home. The car was moving smoothly along the road, but Johnson's mind was far away.He kept thinking about everything that had happened at the orphanage. The missing children had been found an
