"Nope, nope, nuh-uh...where is it?!!" Valkori complained as she tossed several body scrubbers into the bin at the corner of her room
"I'm very, very!! certain I left it in here" she tossed more objects out of the drawers and groaned in frustration, sliding the drawer back into the cabinet slowly, she walked back and forth on the marble floor, trying to recall where she dropped the special scrubber Her room was very stylish and elegantly designed, nothing less befitting for the princess of the Supremacy, her bed was massive and the rose-red bedsheet partially made, her wardrobes and cupboards crafted from white and red woods, embellished with golden ornaments and rims. Her pet pegasus sat at the entrance to the balcony, the winged horse had white angelic fur so pure it looked radiant, it's wings and feathers were the same colour, the horse had a blue crystal on its head right above its dark eyes, it's mane had a more creamy colour and flowed down its neck, it sat still and watched as she messed up her room "Dahlia..." Valkori called out, it's ears swung up but it didn't move "I can't find your scrubber so I'm afraid you'd have to use this one" she lifted one of her own older bathing sponges at waved it at Dahlia, it stood up and revealed that it was sitting on the scrubber the whole time "YOU PIECE OF!!!...AARGHH!!!" she screamed at it, seriously annoyed that it made her turn her room upside down for nothing. Dahlia was unbothered, it shook it's mane and walked into the dark balcony, Valkori sighed defeated and picked up the scrubber, she arranged the other bottles and grooming tools she needed into a bowl and followed Dahlia into the balcony which opened into a vast underground waterfall cave Valkori's room was built into an underground cave one hundred feet below Starfall castle, that was just the depth it was built, the actual waterfall was much deeper, so deep that it seemed to empty into a bottomless abyss. Blue glowing crystals lined the walls of the cave to give illumination as there was no sunlight down here, Valkori's room had regular lights of its own that partially lighted the surreal cave as well, special airways where built into the rocks for ventilation. The room was truly an architectural wonder Valkori and Dahlia walked down a spiral staircase attached to the balcony that led to a batch of small ponds which she used as bath tubs, she had her bathing wear on; a white cloth tied over her chests and a larger piece of fabric on her hips, her dark skin well exposed and her white stripes which were all over her body appeared blue due to the lighting from the crystals in the cave She bathed and scrubbed Dahlia's fur and wings, while telling it about her whole day; "And then I said; 'Its because you don't have a father' and the WHOLE school went up saying 'Woah!!!" she stopped and laughed at her own monologue, Dahlia just sniffed the soap beside her '...You should have seen the look on her face when I dropped that line Dahlia, she has never looked so horrified in her entire MISERABLE life, I mean she looks horrendous all the time but that!!..." she paused and laughed again "that one was new, must have stung like a scorpion, and she tried swinging at me, ME!!...I would have dropped her flat butt on the floor so hard if Sophia didn't interrupt, she escaped with that one" Valkori pressed more soap into her palms and thoroughly scrubbed Dahlia's mane from the top of its head to the end of its neck, using her fingers to get the wash deep into the roots, Dahlia shook it's head as some of the shampoo was getting into it's eyes "Stay still I'm busy!!" she commanded She scrubbed the mane until she was satisfied and scooped water from the pond Dahlia was sitting in to rinse it off "The weasel had the guts to challenge me, said she's gonna teach me a lesson in battle camp, skinny bitch!!, Principal Alora never lets me duel with anybody because I'm too strong, she doesn't want anyone to get hurt too bad, and that airhead called Mai thinks my dad gave the instruction so I won't get hurt in training" Valkori rinsed off Dahlia's mane and began to squeeze the excess water out of it "She wants a fight, I'll give her a fight, break a few bones and then, that face, that pretty face of hers..." her eyes displayed extreme rage and hatred as she thought of Mai's face "I'm gonna mess up that face so bad she'll never want to show up at school again!!...that's right...that's it!!... that's what I need to do...heh!!...take a few teeth as well...can't hurt that bad...she asked for it after all...yes...that's exactly what I'll do...you're screwed Mai!!..." She stopped her rant as she noticed Dahlia staring at her like she was some sought of maniac, the cave was quiet, except for the sound of the water rushing down the falls, she sighed and rinsed the rest of Dahlia's body "Come on" she urged the horse to stand up and got it towelled dry, they both walked out of the pond and up the stairs back into the bedroom She began putting her room back together, Dahlia helped arrange what it could. She folded some papers back into her drawers, she came across an old but familiar note "Huh?" she raised an eyebrow and thought, she slowly unfolded it and read it's contents It was a love letter she wrote for Reece almost a year ago, and she remembered that day, how nervous but excited she was as she hopped through the school on her way to his class, only for her to tuck tail and abort the mission once she saw him talking and laughing with a really pretty girl in his class, it was just too much for her fourteen year old heart to handle She had a disgusted look as she read the love letter, from beginning to the end, the whole page, she squeezed the paper and threw it into the bin. She looked to her mirror, at her face and body, most people said she was beautiful, and she knew that was true to an extent, but she never really felt like she was, maybe it was because she always compared herself to literal beauty goddesses like Mai and that one girl Reece was talking to that day, that she never saw again by the way She sat on the chair in front of her mirror and began to think of Reece's promise to her, how he'd get to see her again once she was done with her world tour. She smiled and drew imaginary circles on the table with her fingers, thinking of his beautiful face and blonde hair, and those eyes of his!!, those ocean blue eyes!!!, no, not the ocean, too dark, more like the summer sky!!, that was the perfect description She twisted her legs and curled her toes as she was getting too excited fantasizing about him, her whole body felt like a pulse was running through- "GAAHH!!" She screamed as the bell snapped her out of her wet dream, a letter slid out of a slot in the ceiling and landed on the table she was sitting at, she opened it up to read; "YOUR FATHER SENDS FOR YOU PRINCESS, MEET HIM AT THE THRONE ROOM"

The Spirit of Satyavatī
THE RAIN FOREST The trio travelled down from the Golden city to the forest belts in Burmah's southern region. Night had fallen at this point and they stood on a hill amongst the shrubs and behind tall trees. Valkori sat on Dahlia's back while Jamaal and Graymont observed their target, at the valley beneath them, small scattered tribal tents lined the forest floor and flame torches could be seen very easily under the darkness of night, but the most alluring aspect of the scenery was a tall pillar of smoke emanating from the hill across from them. Jamaal observed the smoke with a telescope and spotted the stone temple from which fumes originated "Holy cow..." he swore, he passed the telescope to Graymont to see for himself "Bigger than we thought..." he said. Jamaal grinned and hissed. Graymont folded the telescope and tucked it into his strap bag, both of them turned back to see Valkori "We'd be leaving now..." Jamaal said, "Wait here for us till we return, if we don't, ta

The sun kissed the golden walls of the Prince's castle as it rose over the city at dawn, Jamaal had Valkori and Graymont sitted with him at a round table on his room's balcony, he spread open a map of his kingdom Burmah over the table and held some game pieces in one hand "This forest right here..." he placed a piece on the spot, "It is home to a small tribe of pyromancer sorcerers, they worship one of the false gods known as Jatarauda, a Burmesian flame god" "False gods?" Valkori asked, Jamaal and Graymont looked at each other "You don't know about the false gods?" "Never heard of them..." she said, "I only know the six that granted treasures to the Royal houses" "Those are the true gods" Graymont said, Jamaal continued; "The true gods are the most powerful because they have the most worshippers in their domains, and by a very wide margin, but there are hundreds of false gods all over our continent, many of them only have a handful of individuals or tribes still worshi

The day of the wedding came and guests flooded Jamaal's palace, the men wore custom and well designed suits and jewelry, most of them tied turbans of different colours on their heads, the women were dressed in gowns and sarees, a traditional Burmesian dress, the servants and attendants went around to offer them drinks as they awaited the couple Jamaal and Graymont got ready in the Prince's chambers. Graymont put on a black and golden Burmesian male suit, he checked himself out on one of the mirrors, adjusting his beaded necklaces and bangles. Jamaal wore a cropped white shirt, he left it unbuttoned to expose his bare chest and abdominal muscles, he put on flared white trousers as well and covered his wrists with golden bangles "Check this out..." Jamaal said, Graymont looked at him and saw a dark green turban on his head, the both of them laughed and he quickly took it off then combed his dark shiny hair out "You have to be the only Burmesian that looks dumb in a turban" Graymon
I'm coming for you
"A wedding?" Valkori asked "Yes, my older sister is getting married in this castle tomorrow" Jamaal said, Valkori became disturbed "What if your father comes by?, what if he sees me here?..." Jamaal thought for a moment "You have a point... I'll send word to him that I can take care of the event myself, besides I have almost twenty sisters, my father must be tired of attending weddings by now" "Thank you Jamaal..." she said, he went to her and dragged her off the seat "Let us meet my mother, she would LOVE to see you!!" Jamaal brought Valkori to his mother's chambers, the golden room was filled with women and a few men all folding and placing tons of vibrantly coloured gowns and fabrics, the room scented of flowers, perfumes and citrus and the walls were rounded Jamaal's mother sat on her bed which was completely covered in dresses, she appeared to be in her late fifties, her hair already grey, she looked startled as the three of them walked into the room "Valkori,

Valkori ran over the ship's deck as she heard the horns blow, she looked into the distance and saw what seemed to be a city on the horizon, she climbed up the sail poles to get a better view, her eyes lit up in excitement "Graymont!!, we're here!!!" she announced, she jumped to a rope and slid down from the sails, landing on the deck with a loud thump, Graymont and Dahlia came outside to see as well Graymont pulled out a telescope from his strap bag and observed the city, Valkori waited by his side for him to be done with it, he handed the device over to her and she looked into it as well "Svarnagarh, Burmah's golden city..." Graymont said, Valkori saw the city clearly through the telescope, many of the buildings were covered in actual gold, and a number of them were high towers as well, she never thought she'd see structures that tall outside of castles and palaces "It's... beautiful..." she remarked, Graymont smirked, "Burmah is by far the richest Kingdom in the Suprema
Desertion
THE ANDOREAN MOUNTAINS The Helian fighters had returned to their base on the Mountain ranges that bordered Northern Tremore and the Kingdom of Yunhai, their failed attempt to capture Valkori from the Skolgard Islands had proven to be a major setback on their plans and operations. Commander Mich walked angrily to his tent, pulling off his gloves and tossing them to the frosty earth as it snowed mildly this high up in the mountains, his Sergeant Zina walked closely behind him. They stopped and looked up to the sky when the dragon's shriek pierced through the air, the soldiers on the ground all had their eyes up as they watched it fly over them, Mich hissed and continued walking to his tent "Tell that boy to stop flying around just because he can or somebody is going to spot him, a giant dragon in the sky is hard to miss..." Sergeant Zina nodded at his orders, she was about leaving when the dragon appeared behind them, it slowly lowered itself to land and the troops around scat
