"It's nothing." Rosanna responded.

Ethan didn't just want to believe it was nothing but was strict on not letting any outside business take his time. On this same note, he still couldn't help but press the question further.

"Are you sure? You don't seem comfortable," he said, nonchalantly.

Rosanna adjusted a bit on the chair; her feelings for Ethan were still raw. It felt like he just pushed her away, and she could still go back to him.

"It was hard for them to accept, but I'm doing great now." She lied. Ethan could see through her, but before he could ask any further questions, he was interrupted by a text.

"Everything is ready for the meeting. He'd be expecting you by 9 am." Rosanna read the text as well and asked,

"Who's this meeting with?"

"A man you know." He responded.

"Eric would be my first guess but who goes to have a meeting with a man he plans to put out of business," Rosanna said and Ethan was quiet, he had a smirk on his face causing her to immediately snap at him,
