THE UNFORGIVEN

Marvin Richmond stood at the entrance of Neovalle City Hospital, his face was unreadable as he surveyed the chaos before him.

The air smelled of antiseptic and blood, mixing with the faint scent of sweat and fear.

The emergency ward was crowded with injured men and women—Darius Crowe’s supporters—some lying still, others groaning in pain.

The fluorescent lights above flickered slightly, casting an eerie glow over the wounded bodies.

Doctors and nurses moved swiftly between the beds, their faces were tense as they fought to save lives.

Machines beeped, IV drips hung from stands, and muffled cries of suffering filled the air.

Some of the injured had been stabilized, but others were fighting for their last breaths.

Marvin clenched his jaw. He had seen tragedy before, but this was different.

These people believed he was the reason they were lying here, barely holding on.

Accompanied by Oliver Grant, Samantha Lee, and a few members of Helios Enterprise, Marvin moved forward.

Marvin smiled faintly, though the weight of the past few hours still hung heavily on him. He pushed the cheque across the desk, his voice was steady."Well, Dr. Hayes, you have been so kind in your words of encouragement towards me at this time. I believe handing over this cheque is a more respectable way of saying thank you for your support during these trying times."Dr. Hayes, who had been looking down at the cheque as Marvin slid it across, raised an eyebrow in surprise. He glanced back up, his eyes widening slightly. He quickly scanned the amount written on the cheque, his gaze lingered on the numbers—three million dollars.A brief silence passed before Dr. Hayes spoke, clearly taken aback."I don’t see any reason for all this money, Mr. Richmond," he said, his voice was uncertain. "I don’t especially think there’s anything special in my words that would warrant a whopping three million dollars."Marvin's expression remained calm, but the corner of his lips twitched ever so sli

Dr. Hayes remained silent for a long moment, with his fingers tapping lightly against the armrest of his chair. His gaze drifted back to the cheque resting on the desk. The offer was overwhelming, and Marvin’s request carried a weight that could not be ignored. He inhaled deeply, his thoughts were racing. The situation in Lunebrook had indeed been chaotic, and if Marvin’s suspicions were true, then something much bigger was at play. But was Dr Hayes willing to involve himself in this? Was he ready to take on the risks that came with standing by Marvin Richmond?Dr. Hayes looked up, his sharp eyes met Marvin’s steady gaze. “Mr. Richmond,” he began, his voice was firm but calm, “I will not lie—your words have given me something to think about. If what you suspect is true, then this is bigger than both of us.”He leaned forward slightly, placing his hands on the desk. “But let me make something clear—I don’t need your money to help you. If you had simply asked, I would have agreed.”A

Three days later, Marvin sat in the back of his sleek black car, his eyes were staring out of the window, deep in thought. The past few days had been a whirlwind of fear and uncertainty. The new policies—laws that had been passed after the Lunebrook tragedy—had shaken him to his core. His company, his life's work, was at risk. He had to act. That’s why he was here now, being driven by his butler toward the government house, hoping that a face-to-face meeting with the governor might bring a solution. The government house was a large, imposing building, with high stone walls and guards at every entrance. As they arrived, Marvin stepped out of the car, adjusting his jacket, and followed the butler up the grand steps. The guards, well-trained and watchful, quickly checked Marvin's identity and allowed him to enter.Inside, the atmosphere was formal but calm. Marvin passed through multiple security checks—each step more cautious than the last—until he finally arrived at the governor’s

You’ve built Helios Enterprise from the ground up, and I respect that. But you need to see this from another perspective."He paused, his expression was calm but firm. "The people of Lunebrook are angry, Marvin. The tragedy shook the entire county, but not just that, it shook the entire Neovalle state as well. Families were destroyed, friends were lost, and the people... they want justice. They want answers."Marvin clenched his fists subtly, but he kept his composure. He had expected resistance, but not this level of hostility toward his company. The governor continued, his voice was steady but with a touch of sympathy. "Right now, Neovalle is in turmoil. The citizens believe Helios Enterprise is responsible for what happened. Whether or not that’s true, their pain is real. Their anger is real. And as their leader, I had to

The evening air was cool, carrying the faint scent of chlorine and freshly cut grass. The sound of water rippling in the pool was the only disturbance in an otherwise peaceful setting. Mr. Landon emerged from the pool, water glistening on his toned body. He ran a hand through his wet hair and exhaled deeply, relishing the coolness against his skin.A few feet away, Darius Crowe stood near the outdoor bar, pouring himself a drink. He watched as Mr. Landon stepped onto the tiled floor, with droplets of water falling from his body.Without hesitation, Darius turned to one of the servants standing nearby. His tone was calm but firm.“Bring me Mr. Landon’s robe.”The servant bowed slightly before hurrying inside. Moments later, he returned with a dark silk robe neatly folded in his hands. He had taken great care to keep his involvement in the Lunebrook tragedy a secret. No traces, no loose ends. Yet, somehow, Mr. Landon already knew. For a brief moment, Crowe considered how much information Mr. Landon truly had. Had someone betrayed him? Or was Landon just that powerful? Before he could fully gather his thoughts, Mr. Landon’s voice cut through his hesitation.“I believe I asked you a question.”Crowe blinked, his mind was still slightly unsettled. “I… I didn’t catch that, sir.”Mr. Landon sighed, his tone carried a hint of impatience. “I asked if these policies were passed after you planned the disaster in Lunebrook.”Darius Crowe swal

  • THE UNDERESTIMATED HEIR   UNSEEN FORCES

Inside a spacious, high-tech workshop within Helios enterprise, Marvin Richmond sat hunched over a sleek worktable, his sharp eyes were locked onto a holographic screen. The room around him was quiet, save for the soft hum of machines and the occasional beep from the devices he worked with.Blueprints of an advanced drone flickered on the screen in front of him. The images showed intricate mechanical designs, delicate energy circuits, and the outer casing of the drone, all made to look like a work of art. Marvin’s hands, covered in thin, black gloves, moved swiftly over the worktable, adjusting tiny components with the precision of someone who had spent years perfecting his craft. This was no ordinary drone. It was a stealth reconnaissance model, designed to infiltrate high-risk areas without being detected. Unlike the usual drones used for surveillance, this one had a special feature that no one could replicate: a cloaking mechanism that bent light around it, making it invisible

This drone was tested thoroughly before deployment. It passed every safety check just after production. So tell me, why did it explode while covering Darius Crowe’s campaign in Lunebrook?”Luminar went quiet, his presence in Marvin’s mind started fading slightly. Marvin could feel the AI scanning the video feed, breaking it down into data that only an advanced intelligence like Luminar could process. The silence stretched on, with the only sound in the workshop being the soft hum of Marvin’s lapt

We’re divided into two strong factions.”He raised two fingers to make his point.“One side—your side—believes you fought bravely. They believe that if not for your sacrifice and bold stand, the Richmonds would never have gotten a voice with regards to the attainment of the Astralyte. They believe you deserve protection and honor, not death.”Marvin listened closely.“These ones are loyal to the legacy of our founder, Paul Richmond. They know what you’ve done.
