He can do the work

Nathan was not surprised by Carter's behavior. He expected as much. However, he didn't let it get to him. He was the boss hence he took matters into his own hands.

"Are you going to let them insult you," Robert said when Nathan was busy loading up the materials. After the men insulted him, Nathan didn't say a word but simply left and put on a new working suit.

"Some things are better left like that…I won't die, will I?" Nathan said breathlessly while picking up some bags of cement, Robert who was wiping sweat from his forehead frowned. The man was indeed a bull, so stubborn. From what he noticed, Nathan hated begging people. But Robert didn't see the reason why he decided to start working.

"Well, those damned men are busy laughing…I'm sure this is a trap they set for you…they know you can't work alone," Robert remarked and started helping Nathan with everything. Nathan didn't reply to Robert's statement but concentrated on his work.

"At the end of the day…I'm the boss…aren't I?" Na
