“Ouch!”

“Move back and stop blocking my view!” A loud arrogant voice suddenly jolted a pale looking young man who was wearing brown pants and a white top whose color couldn't be differentiated from the color of his pants.

“Huh!” The young man turned back slowly as he tried to process what was going on before he unconsciously stepped aside and said slowly with a hoarse voice, “Am…am sorry!”

The man with the arrogant voice gazed coldly at the pale young man for a short while and said coldly, “You better get your shit together in this camp or you will get yourself killed!”

He walked out without paying any attention to him!

The Young man began to feel his head burning as he kept muttering to himself slowly, “Who… the hell am I? Where am I?”

A memory flooded his head as he began to remember what happened.

A remembered he went to intercept a loaded truck, in a mission in Azkaban with his unit, where they were intercepted, he finally knew it was a set up as the truck was loaded with a nuclear bomb.

“General Ric, hope you enjoy my surprise package!” Before he could see the figure.

Boom!

The truck suddenly exploded as his body was dragged in a vortex!

Meanwhile, after a long time, the splitting headache calmed down considerably and he muttered softly with a deep sigh, “So I died and transmigrated into this body of a Young conscript!” He shook his head with hopelessness as he turned around and glanced at the crowded military camp filled with filth and disgust, he could sense the despair in the eyes of most of the soldiers and some young conscript present, “So the Mighty General Richard has been turned into what I can't even remember!”

Suddenly, another sharp voice interrupted him, "Move out, you worthless pig! Move!"

A heavy leather boot kicked Ric’s butt sending him flying into the dirt. The pain was agonizing for a weak frail body like his. He looked up, his military history enthusiast brain instinctively analyzed the threat. Standing over him was a man clad in rusted iron branded armor, holding a spear within his right hands and a blade strapped at his waist!

“Star light lineage!” Ric murmured slowly.

His memory worked instantly as he finally knew he was at the Frost Grip outpost under the Starlight Kingdom. It wasn't like the modern world he came from, he was in an historical age

back in time where a kingdom once glorious, now ravaged by nationwide famine, centuries of corruption and endless war on the northern borders.

Before he could make a sound, the soldier lifted him up and dragged him towards a massive, dilapidated government registration hall in the center of the encampment.

No matter how hard he struggled, he couldn't escape the firm grip of the soldier as his body was just a starving young man of 20 years without any strength left in his frail body.

Ric's eyes glanced and noticed several young men were also dragged towards the hall.

Thud!

Bang!

He was thrown violently on the ground as the soldier went forward without paying attention to him!

The interior of the registration hall was a theater of human misery. On one side stood rows of trembling, emaciated young men. On the other side sat hundreds of women, their faces shadowed by grief, fear, and hopelessness.

At the center of the hall, standing atop a wooden chair, a tall, huge official dressed in stained silk cleared his throat. He unrolled a long shining scroll with slow precision.

"By royal decree of His Imperial Majesty, the Starlight never shall set!" the official had a wide grin as his voice echoed within the wooden walls. "To ensure the preservation of the kingdom's bloodlines before the grand deployment to the northern wastes, every drafted man must choose a wife today. Any man who refuses, or fails to select a spouse before the hour strikes, shall be executed on the spot for treason!”

A wild and loud murmur echoed within the hall as everyone one exchanged glances within each other as the young men glanced towards the side where the women were kept and all of them had a weird expression.

Ric narrowed his eyes slightly and he began to organize his memory and analyze everything from his Military experience in the modern world he came from.

The kingdom was losing soldiers faster than they could breed them. They are forcing unions to guarantee a new generation of cannon fodder.

"Let the selection begin!" the official shouted.

Instantly, chaos erupted, many of the Young conscripts rushed towards the direction of the women like wild, starving wolves as many fought for the young healthy looking ones. In a world of famine, beauty was a luxury but strength is required to keep them!

Some fought, brawled and nearly killed each other just to get the better looking ones with every drop of blood gushing through them.

Meanwhile, the women scrambled to present themselves well, knowing that being left behind meant being sold into state slavery or starving to death in the gutters.

Ric stayed behind as he rested his back on a wooden pillar, he knew there was nothing he could do, he had no name to himself, no money, no status. With this his body that looks like it would collapse anytime soon, how can he fight for a woman, even if he wants to fight, does he have the strength to protect or keep them?

Hell No!

Suddenly, a voice jolted him back to reality that made him instantly stand up from his position. A young, terrified conscript had frozen in panic, unable to make a choice.

"Faltering in the face of imperial law?!" The commanding officer next to the official bared his teeth.

He drew a heavy, curved broadsword. "A coward who cannot choose a woman cannot hold a blade for the Emperor!"

The officer raised the sword. It was so shining that you could see your reflection from the blade. The young conscript screamed, covering his head.

Ric's brain began to work as he panicked instantly, he knew if he didn't also make a choice then he would be next, as he was dragging his brain for a solution.

Suddenly, a metallic voice sounded in his head freezing the chaotic noise.

The map lay forgotten on the oak table, its careful lines and marked shafts abandoned for the moment. Ric’s hands never left them as he guided the three of them through the adjoining chamber. The door closed behind them with a soft, final click. Outside, the first thin light of dawn pressed against the shuttered windows, but inside the air remained warm and heavy with the scent of skin and the low crackle of the hearth that had burned steadily through the night. Kahleen’s fingers were already working at the buckles of his armor. The instant the leather came free, Morgana’s mouth found the side of his throat. Yan simply watched for a heartbeat, dark eyes bright with quiet intensity, then stepped forward and claimed his mouth in a slow, deliberate kiss that tasted of both strategy and surrender. They did not rush. They never did when it was the four of them like this. Ric’s hands moved with quiet certainty unlacing, unbuckling, sliding cloth away until three bodies pressed bar

In the face of the storm that awaited them, their presence was a living promise that no matter what happened, they would face it together.Whatever awaited them inside the Emperor's halls, they would confront it the same way they had faced every challenge since the beginning.Together.****A few hours later, Ric and his three wives stood around a heavy oak table, their eyes fixed on a detailed map of the Central Capital.Yan had used her intelligence ability to gather information from numerous sources, allowing her to rec

“Ric… don’t leave us… don’t ever…”“Never,” he growled, and meant it with everything in him.He pulled free only long enough to rearrange them, Morgana on her back, Yan straddling her face, Kahleen on all fours so he could take her from behind again while she and Yan kissed over Morgana’s body. He thrust into Kahleen hard and deep, one hand reaching around to rub her clit, the other tangled in Yan’s hair as she rode Morgana’s mouth. The three women moved together, moaning, whispering broken words of love and need. When Ric finally came it was with a guttural groan, burying himself to the hilt in Kahleen and spilling hot and thick inside her while they trembled and held onto each other. They collapsed in a tangle of limbs and damp skin. Morgana claimed his mouth in a lazy, satisfied kiss. Yan rested her head on his chest, fingers tracing idle patterns over his heart. Kahleen curled against his side, one leg thrown over his.Morgana’s voice was quiet, almost fragile. “Whatever happens i

  • Chapter 174: Seven Days left

The moment the countdown began, Ric made every necessary arrangement to isolate the Central Capital. Together with his wives he moved swiftly through the four regions, ending slavery wherever it still lingered and formally abolishing the emperor system that had bound the land for generations.Barns rose across the countryside for the secure storage of grain, while new routes along the riverbanks opened steady lines of transport. A measured tax was put in place to support a functioning administration. The Legion of Doom expanded rapidly as advanced weapons were mass-produced under Ric’s direction. Drawing on the system’s access to knowledge from his former world, he designed prototypes for future use and stationed elite legionnaires throughout the four regions to keep the peace and protect the people.Corruption was rooted out. Hospitals were built and medical personnel trained from modern baseline manuals provided by the system. Free basic healthcare became the standard, dismantling t

The Southern Border!Ric held the relay device used for long-distance communication as he finished speaking with Yan on the other end.A moment later, Morgana approached him, still clad in her crimson armor, with her sword secured at her waist.“What is the news?” Morgana asked as she stopped before him.Ric turned toward her, a soft smile appearing on his face.“The East has been conquered, and our casualties are low.”Morgana raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by the news.“What happened?”Ric slowly explained everything that had occurred along the Eastern Border, including how Yan had successfully taken control of the region with minimal losses. He then informed her that the North, South, East, and West were now firmly under their control. The only territory that remained was the Central Capital. And that was where the real problem lay.The Central Capital was the heart of the Starlight Dynasty and the Emperor's primary power base. Ric had no intention of blindly marching his for

West turned his gaze back toward Roland, whose head remained bowed in shame. Blood dripped steadily from his chin, staining his ruined chestplate."If we break our agreement now," West continued, his chest rising and falling heavily, "tomorrow will not be a battle. It will be an execution."His gaze hardened as he looked toward the distant ridge where the Legion of Doom had disappeared."The Stronghold has already proven its point. They wanted us to understand that our strength means nothing to them. I will not sacrifice thousands of men simply to satisfy my pride."A heavy murmur spread through the troops, but no one dared argue further. The cold logic behind West's words was undeniable. They had watched Roland, the strongest warrior among them, get methodically dismantled before an entire army. The fear was no longer merely a rumor whispered among the soldiers. It had become something tangible, a heavy weight pressing against every breath they took."Raise the white flags before sun
