“Derek–didn’t you know about the child's allergy?” His voice was firm and unwavering.

The innocent teacher was shivering violently as he could barely look at Lucas' cold face.

“I–uhm,” his voice quivered and his hands trembled. His heart thumped against his chest as the fear and guilt overwhelmed him.
