"Ugh, how much longer until we reach the service tunnel?" Bai inquired with a sigh, feeling the pangs of hunger after nearly a day without a proper meal.

"We're almost there, just hold on," Yoshi replied, studying the blueprint. They had made significant progress without any issues, which was a positive indication. Just a bit further to reach the service tunnel.

"What is that?" Racheal inquired as her flashlight revealed a section of the wall marked with black paint. Noticing this, she cautiously moved closer for a better view and inadvertently stepped on something that made a cracking sound.

CRACK

"Is that...?" Her pupils contracted upon noticing what she had stepped on; she swiftly withdrew, aiming her gun and flashlight at the object, which illuminated it for the others to observe.

"A skull," Michael nudged the cracked skull with his feet. The transparent sewage water made it easy to see that the flesh on the skull had been scraped off cleanly, leaving the skull bare on the ground.

"How long do we have to stay here for? I'm getting really tired of this place," Bai grumbled, his foot kicking the food brought to them by the guards. His eyes surveyed the guards, as though devising a strategy. After giving up, he glanced upwards to see a section of the wall cracked. With a curse, he turned away, frustrated that they hadn't at least provided a larger and more aesthetically pleasing cell. They had been in their new home for nearly a week following the events at the zone, having been captured and confined in this unpleasant and foul-smelling prison cell situated in an unknown location. They were fed twice a day; throughout their entire stay, they had not been permitted to take a bath, likely due to concerns that they might attempt something if given the opportunity to leave. Although that fear seemed unfounded, considering they had been restrained with the ability-inhibiting cuffs, they were effectively powerless against the highly trained and formidable guard

"Where am I?" Liam inquired, experiencing an unusual feeling. He gradually lifted himself into a sitting position, causing the ring on his chest to fall to the ground. As he reached out to retrieve it, he paused in disbelief for a few seconds before springing to his feet. He looked at his body in astonishment, noticing that his arms and other body parts had returned to their natural state, with the robotic components vanished. He frowned, attempting to recall what had transpired."Micheal, Micheal!" As he recalled the events that had brought him here, his expression shifted immediately, glancing around in bewilderment. The devastation was overwhelming; nothing remained upright, everything lay flattened on the ground. No reaper, Creeper, or scraper was visible; all he could see was barren earth. His brother was also missing, leaving him to ponder what had occurred, for he distinctly remembered having died."Is this limbo?" he pondered, remembering that he had died in hi

[7 minutes earlier]"Wake up, wake up," Henry heard Racheal's voice urging him to rise. He rose unsteadily, immediately noticing Racheal's panicked expression, which alarmed him at once."What's the problem, Racheal?" Henry inquired, standing up with a frown."Micheal's gone; he left this," Racheal replied, holding up a Walkman with a note attached that read, 'Play me.'"Dammit, he's gone back to the zone," Henry cursed, memories flooding back as he recalled how Michael had zapped them all to sleep."Come on, what's all the commotion about?" Hei awoke in a state of confusion and promptly smacked his brother on the arm, which roused him from sleep as well."Micheal is gone," Henry said to the brothers who were about to start fighting. Once they heard him, the drowsiness in their eyes disappeared instantly, and they also remembered what had happened."We need to return for him. But wait, where is

"HUUFF" Michael appeared to return to his body in a state of confusion as he looked at Gravix, who seemed to sense something."Did you use Insight? Tell me what you saw," Gravix said with an intense look, gripping Michael's shoulders."SUUUUU" Once Gravix touched him, he felt himself being drawn back into that sensation, but unlike the previous time, he observed himself from a third-person perspective. Pictures and scenes flashed before his eyes, depicting events that had yet to occur, images etched in his mind. He witnessed a great deal of bloodshed, the Hunter arriving and purging the earth, an overwhelming amount of violence. The actions of Gravix were minimal in comparison to the feats of the Hunter depicted in the images he observed; it all occured transpired in mere seconds before everything concluded and he was returned."Hey! What did you see?" Gravix inquired, observing that Micheal had returned."Blood, destruction, so much mur

Within the confines of the usurped zone, Micheal's silhouette was visible, perched upon the towering walls that encircled the area. On either side of the walls, thick, concentrated, and blazing flames were visible, preventing the undead from advancing.Micheal sat quietly, watching the scene unfold. Moments later, his brother emerged from one side of the wall, making his way toward him. Upon his arrival, he took a seat beside his brother. For a moment, silence enveloped them until Micheal finally spoke up."How do you think mom would respond if she were here right now?" Micheal turned to his brother and asked, a sorrowful expression crossing his face."I believe she would take great pride in the fine gentleman you have become. By the way, I apologize for...""Hold on, before you go on, I need to express my apologies for my actions in the past. Discovering the sacrifices you made truly opened my eyes. "SWISSHHHH" In the next moment, a surge of lightning coursed through Yoshi's body as he attempted to strike Micheal, the force so intense that it rendered him unconscious. After finishing with Yoshi, Michael turned back to Dr. Grey and raised his hands toward the ceiling. With a simple gesture, lightning shot out, tearing through the roof and causing the entire building to tremble like an earthquake."Quick, we must leave at once; that attack won't hold him off indefinitely," Michael said, turning to his friends, who were now grasping the gravity of the situation."Are you all alright?" Micheal inquired, suddenly sensing a pair of arms encirclinghis neck, drawing him into a warm embrace."Micheal..." Racheal whispered, drawing Micheal nearer, as though afraid he might vanish once more."I apologize for making you worry, but I'm here now" Micheal smiled as he embraced Racheal tightly, feeling her sobs.
