“Okay so the main aim of this training is to increase your co-ordination with each other, before that, we just warm up, with some slight exercises” Captain Jack said pointing toward an exercise course located in a huge room.

“Oh wow, this place is huge, how much did you guys spend on this place, damn” Henry marveled at the size of the training room, it was like a hall that even had a race track.

“Enough, just enjoy it, the battle ahead isn’t something easy so forget about the money” Captain Jack replied walking over to some of the scientists walking around.

“Hey Bai, wanna race?” Micheal said competitively to Bai who grinned and walked over to the race track.

“Think you can outrun me lightning boy” Bai challenged stretching his body.

“Oh I don’t know but I’d like to find out, I’d like to see which is faster, lightning or Light itself” Micheal replied with a smile walking over to the race track with Bai.

“Oh I see you guys are ready to start, that’s good, well on your marks then” Captain Jack said with a smile walking over to Micheal and Bai after spotting them getting ready to race, after hearing him, they bent down at the beginning of the race track.

“Okay get set and go!” Captain Jack said, his voice not ending before there was a huge gust of wind that burst out from the race track, and the next second, Micheal was standing at the end of the race track grinning at Bai who snorted and walked away with a frown.

“Wow that was fast” Henry said gazing at Micheal who stood triumphantly with a grin plastered on his face, Henry didn’t even see what happened, all he saw was a flash and that was all.

“Hahahaha, now that’s competition, who’s next?” Captain Jack chuckled clapping his hands before turning to the rest.

“Hey wanna have a go, Buckethead?” Hai turned to Yoshi who stayed still for a few seconds, eyes glued on Micheal before he responded.

“Sure, get ready to bite my dust” Yoshi said with a robotic smile which made it seem creepy as they walked over to the race track and bent down.

“I’m gonna enjoy your defeat” Hai smirked at Yoshi and said.

“Okay get set and go!” Captain Jack said once again.

WHOOSH

“Woah, this is impossible” Micheal said in shock staring at Yoshi who had already swept past Hai and had won the race in a split second.

“How do you have my lightning?” Micheal asked with a frown.

“I forgot to tell you guys, Yoshi’s ability is to mimic a person’s ability” Lionheart said answering the question while walking into the training room.

“That’s alarming to know” Micheal frowned and stared at Yoshi suspiciously.

“But it’s good to have you on the team rather than against us” Racheal said with a shrug.

“Okay knock it off, and get back to training, next Henry vs Racheal” Captain Jack said interrupting and disrupting the conversation.

“Hey all I’m saying is that Doctor Strange would whoop Harry Potter’s ass, that’s all I’m saying” Bai said with a shrug, he and the others sat around a table eating and chatting.

“That might be true but that comparison is biased because I think Doctor Strange is overrated, that’s my thought” Hai also disagreed with his brother.

“Overrated my ass, I mean someone who had an accident and worked hard to become one of the most powerful sorcerers in existence, is that what you call overrated?” Micheal defended Bai with a snort while munching on some snacks.

“If that’s not what you call overrated, I don’t know what is?” Racheal whispered under her breath.

“What was that?” Micheal asked Racheal who shook her head and shrugged.

“I feel like I might not survive this, but that was the same thought in my mind when I was faced with near-death experiences, I felt like I would survive it and I did so I guess I will this too” Henry gulped down one cup of wine and sighed before speaking, his words bring everyone’s minds back to the issue at hand.

“Thanks for spoiling the mood Henry” Bai said sarcastically placing the drumstick he was chewing back onto the plate.

“But he’s right though, this is the most dangerous mission that I have ever been on” Micheal let out a deep breath wiping his hands and then leaning back onto the chair.

“If we survive, I will propose to the girl I loved back in town” Hai suddenly said wiping his eyes with a grin.

“Is he drunk already, wow that was fast” Yoshi said with surprise staring at Hai who couldn’t even sit straight on the chair.

“Yeah he’s a lightweight” Bai replied with a chuckle shoving his brother to the ground.

“Urrrrg!” After being shoved to the ground, Hai quickly grabbed an empty bowl and puked his guts into it.

“Is he okay?” Rachael asked worriedly after seeing Hai’s reaction.

“He’s fine, just drunk, he’ll be okay in the morning” Bai replied sipping on his drink with a grin.

“Haaa, this might be our last night, if it is then I’d like to make it memorable, ever since I started serving, I’ve never had any time to calm down to relax so I’d finally like to see how it feels” Micheal got up and said with mixed emotions.

“Hahaha, if fun is what you want then you’ll get it, I mean fun is my middle name” Bai hearing Micheal’s words got up quickly with a grin and picked up his cup.

“I’d like to make a toast to our new friendship, our new team, tomorrow we shall be thrown into battle with unknown threats so tonight is an important day for all of us because we might not all make it out, and I know we just met but if I don’t make it in the end, I’d like you all to know that it was nice meeting you all, Micheal please do us the honor” Bai gave an emotional speech which showed a different side to his always childish and stubborn normal attitude.

“That was one of the best speeches that I have ever heard Bai, thank you, so on behalf of the whole team, I want to make a toast to our team, cheers to Taskforce Spongbob” Micheal nodded with a smile and raised his cup to make a toast.

“To Taskforce Spongbob” The others also said tapping their wine glasses together.

“Hahaha, and now that that’s out of the way, Yoshi, I propose a treaty for now, tonight is an important night so what do you say we put our troubles aside and enjoy ourselves today?” Bai proposed with an outstretched hand towards Yoshi.

“My thoughts exactly” Yoshi replied shaking Bai’s hand and establishing a temporary treaty, this act garnered a series of cheers from the others.

“Okay let’s get this party on fire, whooo” Bai exclaimed tapping a button on a phone he was holding causing music to sound out from the huge screen that was positioned in the room.

“Whoo, okay I used to do a little rapping back in the days let’s see if I still got it in me” Micheal said which made the others glance toward him in shock, they couldn’t believe what they were hearing.

“Okay then let’s hear it then” Henry encouraged him with a smile handing him a mic which he picked from the cabinet where the screen was positioned.

“Uh, okay let’s go, I used to be a rapper back in the days

And now I feel myself trapped in a maze

A high-speed chase and a never-ending race

A temporary phase

So I maintain a steady pace

While trying to embrace

All of my mistakes

To avoid the disgrace

I had to pay the price for my crimes

And started writing rhymes, to escape the lonely nights

We’ll get through this together, cause we are bound forever, Mike out” Micheal took in a deep breath and then spat several verses that made his teammates almost fall to the ground in shock, never realizing that he had it in him, at first when he first mentioned that he would rap, they hadn’t thought much of it and hadn’t expected much but after hearing him rap, they were shocked.

“Woah, that was astonishing and totally unexpected” Henry remarked as he and the others gave a huge round of applause.

“I know, I got rusty and gave a bad freestyle, I used to be better than this though” Micheal replied apologetically, genuinely thinking that it was bad.

“What do you mean a bad freestyle, do you know how hard what you just did is, it was great, trust me we’re all genuinely Impressed, even Hai” Bai patted Micheal’s shoulder pointing at Hai on the ground who gave a thumbs-up.

“Thanks, guy, okay so who’s next?” Micheal asked with a smile holding the mic out.

“Um none of us are really that good at rapping and singing so why don’t we do karaoke instead” Bai proposed causing the others to nod feverently at the idea, after seeing their reply, Bai pressed another button on the phone causing the room to turn dim as several disco balls appeared in the room.

“How do you control all this?” Henry asked in shock staring at the phone in Bai’s hand, he couldn’t understand how Bai was able to control the room as he pleased.

“Don’t worry about that, just grab a mic and let’s get ready to sing…” Bai replied tapping the phone and then glancing at the screen to see the title of the song appear.

“Becoming Unbecoming by Icemaster360, damn that’s my favorite” Racheal said excitedly staring at the name that appeared on the screen.

“Get ready guys and let’s go, when I look into your eyes…” Bai said just as the lyrics started appearing on the screen while they sang along.

For the rest of the night, the group enjoyed themselves to the fullest because they knew that the next day might be their last, they just wanted to do something that would take their mind off their mission tomorrow.

“WHIRRRRR” The wings of the plane twirled around moving the plane in the air, within it was the task force members and Captain Jack who were strapped into their seats.

“You guys nervous?” Captain Jack asked with a grin.

“Um, I’m actually more worried about my migraine than what we’re about to do” Hai replied massaging his temples while maintaining a steady breathing.

“That’s what you get when you drink and party a night before a mission as serious as this, what were all of you thinking, even you Micheal, I’m disappointed” Captain Jack scolded staring at the task force members who were all thinking of different things at the moment.

“Sigh, how long till we get there?” Bai asked with a sigh, playing around with a Rubix’s cube.

“Approximately 10 minutes” The pilot from the cockpit replied carefully navigating the plane through the skies.

“Okay so listen up, the watch on your hands are each equipped with a GPS smart map, the safe locations are indicated on the watch, which also monitors your vital signs, it has an in-built cloaking feature that activates the camouflage suits you have on, the good thing is that it’s voice-activated, so all you need to do is say ‘Camo on’ and that’s it” the captain explained gesturing toward the watch they had on their wrists.

“Next you have the helmet, it is equipped with the latest Nanotech, so it can easily be called out and back again, when it’s not equipped, it turns into a necklace that hangs over your neck when it is activated, it turns into a helmet, the helmet contains a night vision g****e, a thermal vision g****e, and EMF sensing g****e, it contains an in-built mic and speaker with which you will use to communicate even when you’re separated, the helmet is also equipped with an EMP in case of emergencies” Captain Jack then moved onto the helmet which he held and explained its features.

“Then we come to your rifles, it is….” Captain Jack went on to explain all the uses of the other gadgets and equipment that would be used by the team who listened intently.

“And that’s all about everything” Captain Jack finished his explanation just in time to hear the pilot.

“We’re there” The pilot’s voice sounded out from the cockpit as Captain Jack turned to the others who grabbed their equipment, got up, and put on their parachutes.

“I guess it begins then” Racheal muttered as the plane opened up.

“Remember, you guys have three days, good luck” Captain Jack reminded them before giving a military salute.

“Well, thanks Grandpa but we don’t need luck” Bai chuckled as he dashed forward and leaped out of the plane.

“Hey wait for me, hahahaha” Hai said quickly following behind his brother.

“Oh these idiots, let’s go” Micheal sighed and facepalmed before following behind the brothers.

“Hey wait up, whooo” Henry and Racheal followed behind them as they also jumped out excitedly.

“I have a bad idea about this, I guess you’re the only reasonable on….” Captain Jack was about to compliment Yoshi for being the only reasonable one who stayed behind when.

“BOOM WHOOSH” All of a sudden, Yoshi suddenly blasted out of the plane at an insane speed which made the Plane tremble from the force which even threw Captain Jack onto the ground.

“This is going to definitely be a disaster” Captain Jack shook his head and said as he got up, he was only now realizing the type of people to whom they had entrusted this mission, psychopaths.
